The V2 design represents the latest engineering from Team Associated, one of the most respected manufacturers in the RC hobby, ensuring that your vehicle maintains sharp, responsive steering characteristics throughout the season.

If you own a Team Associated RC10B7 or RC10T7 platform, keeping spare steering and caster blocks on hand is a smart investment for any serious RC driver. These components are vital to maintaining precise front-end alignment and steering feel, which directly impacts your vehicle's handling on the track. Over time and through regular use, steering blocks can wear or become damaged, affecting your buggy's responsiveness and cornering precision. By choosing genuine Team Associated factory parts, you ensure that your RC car maintains the exacting tolerances and fit that were engineered into your chassis from the factory.

Ideal for routine maintenance, pit spares, or as a replacement after track damage, the Team Associated RC10B7/T7 V2 Caster & Steering Blocks offer a straightforward way to refresh worn front-end components and restore your vehicle to like-new condition. The V2 design provides an improved, proven platform that countless competitive RC drivers trust to keep their machines performing at peak efficiency.

Key Features

  • Genuine Team Associated Factory Parts — These are official OEM replacement components manufactured by Team Associated, not aftermarket alternatives, which means they meet the exact specifications and tolerances your chassis was designed around, guaranteeing perfect fit and finish every time you install them.
  • V2 Design Engineering — The V2 designation indicates these are the latest generation steering blocks from Team Associated, incorporating refinements and improvements based on years of competitive racing feedback and real-world durability testing.
  • Supports Precise Front-End Alignment — These caster and steering blocks work together to maintain the critical suspension geometry angles that determine your RC buggy's steering response, cornering grip, and overall handling characteristics on the track.
  • Maintains Smooth Steering Response — By replacing worn or damaged steering blocks, you restore the smooth, linear steering feel that keeps your vehicle responsive and predictable during high-speed cornering and competitive racing.
  • Consistent Caster Geometry — The caster angle is one of the most important suspension parameters for RC vehicle handling, and these blocks help maintain that geometry to ensure your buggy or truck steers consistently lap after lap.
  • Essential Pit Spares — Every competitive RC racer knows the value of keeping spare parts in their pit box, and these steering blocks are one of the most important items to have available for track-side repairs and replacements.
  • Compatible with RC10B7 and RC10T7 Platforms — These blocks are specifically engineered for the Team Associated RC10B7 buggy and RC10T7 truck, ensuring they will fit perfectly and perform as designed on these platforms.

Technical Performance

The Team Associated RC10B7/T7 V2 Caster & Steering Blocks represent precision engineering in the world of competitive RC buggies and trucks. These components are machined to exacting tolerances from high-quality materials that can withstand the forces and stresses generated during aggressive racing and regular track use. The V2 design incorporates improvements that have been validated through countless hours of competitive racing at the highest levels of the hobby. The steering block assembly works in conjunction with your suspension geometry to control the caster angle and steering axis inclination, both of which are critical to how your RC car UK handles on the track. The blocks interface with your tie rods and front suspension links, and any wear or damage to these components will degrade your vehicle's steering precision and response. By maintaining fresh steering blocks as part of your regular maintenance routine, you ensure that your buggy maintains the steering characteristics it was designed to deliver. Whether you're running a 1/10 scale RC buggy or truck, these genuine factory components provide the reliability and precision that Team Associated is known for throughout the RC hobby.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the purpose of caster and steering blocks on an RC buggy or truck? — The caster and steering blocks are fundamental suspension components that control your vehicle's front-end geometry, including caster angle and steering axis inclination. These angles directly determine how your RC car handles, how responsive the steering is, and how much grip you have in cornering. Maintaining these blocks in good condition is essential for consistent, predictable handling on the track.
  • Are these genuine Team Associated parts? — Yes, the AS71213 is a genuine Team Associated factory replacement part. These are official OEM components, not aftermarket alternatives, which guarantees they will fit and function exactly as your chassis was engineered to work. Choosing factory parts is the best way to ensure dependable fit and finish throughout your build.
  • Which Team Associated models are these blocks compatible with? — These V2 caster and steering blocks are designed for the Team Associated RC10B7 buggy and the Team Associated RC10T7 truck. These are the primary platforms for which these components are engineered and approved.
  • How often should I replace my steering blocks? — Steering block replacement depends on how frequently you race and how aggressively you drive your RC car. For competitive racers, it's common to replace steering blocks as part of regular maintenance and pit spare strategy. For casual drivers, they may last a full season or longer. Inspect them regularly for wear, cracks, or damage, and replace them if you notice any degradation in steering response.
  • Will these improve my RC car's handling? — If your current steering blocks are worn or damaged, replacing them with fresh factory parts will restore your vehicle's handling to like-new condition. If your blocks are already in good shape, replacement won't necessarily improve handling, but maintaining them is essential to prevent handling degradation over time.
  • Can I use these blocks as pit spares? — Absolutely. Many competitive RC drivers keep multiple sets of steering blocks as pit spares so they can quickly replace damaged components during a race or practice session. Having these on hand means you can get back on the track quickly rather than having to visit an RC hobby shop mid-event.
  • Are these suitable for beginners? — While these are replacement parts rather than a complete vehicle, they are straightforward to install for anyone with basic RC maintenance knowledge. If you own an RC10B7 or RC10T7 and need to perform routine maintenance, these parts are essential. Beginners should feel confident installing these as part of their regular chassis maintenance, or they can ask for help at their local RC club or hobby shop.
