Key Features
- Genuine Team Associated OEM Component — These are authentic factory parts designed and tested by Team Associated, ensuring perfect fitment and performance characteristics that match your RC10's original specifications. Genuine spares eliminate compatibility issues and maintain your RC car's handling characteristics exactly as the engineers intended.
- 56mm Length Specification — The precisely measured 56mm length is critical for maintaining correct suspension geometry and ride height on compatible RC10 models. Using the correct length ensures optimal suspension articulation, steering response, and overall handling balance during racing or recreational driving.
- CVA (Constant Velocity Axle) Design — These components are engineered as part of Team Associated's proven CVA suspension system, which allows for smooth power delivery and consistent handling across a wide range of terrain and driving conditions. The CVA design reduces binding and improves responsiveness compared to older suspension systems.
- Wide Model Compatibility — Compatible with an extensive range of RC10 variants including the RC10 Classic 40th Anniversary, RC10 Jay Halsey Edition, RC10 40th Anniversary Green Edition, RC10 Team Car Gold Edition, RC10 Graphite Kit, RC10 Metallic Edition, RC10 4WD, RC10 Brian Kinwald Edition, RC10 '89 Stealth Car Masami Edition, and RC10 Vegas Car. This wide compatibility means these spares work across multiple special editions and standard builds.
- Essential Wear Parts — As suspension linkage components, CVA Bones experience regular wear during racing and recreational use. Keeping spare sets on hand ensures you can maintain peak performance and get back to the track quickly when replacements are needed, rather than waiting for repairs.
- Maintenance and Restoration Ready — Whether you're performing routine maintenance, restoring a vintage RC10, or refreshing an older model, these genuine parts are ideal for bringing your RC car back to factory specifications and ensuring long-term reliability.
Technical Performance
The Team Associated RC10 CVA Bones 56mm represent precision engineering in RC suspension design. These components are manufactured to exact specifications using quality materials that withstand the rigours of competitive racing and aggressive weekend bashing. The CVA (Constant Velocity Axle) system is a cornerstone of Team Associated's legendary handling characteristics, allowing smooth power delivery through the suspension without the binding or jarring that can occur with less sophisticated designs. The 56mm length is calibrated to maintain proper suspension geometry, ensuring that your RC10's front and rear suspension articulates smoothly through jumps, berms, and technical terrain. When suspension components wear or become damaged, replacing them with genuine OEM parts restores your RC car's original balance and responsiveness. The materials and tolerances used in these Bones ensure durability through hundreds of heat cycles and thousands of compression-extension cycles. Whether you're running your RC10 on smooth asphalt, dusty off-road tracks, or rough bashing terrain, maintaining your suspension with quality components keeps your RC car competitive and fun to drive. For UK-based RC enthusiasts, having spare CVA Bones in your spares box is essential—downtime is minimised when you can quickly swap components and get back on the track.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What exactly are CVA Bones and why do I need them? — CVA Bones are critical suspension linkage components in the Team Associated RC10 that connect the suspension to the differential and driveshafts. They experience wear during use and need periodic replacement. Worn Bones can cause poor handling, unresponsive steering, and potential suspension damage. Keeping spares ensures you can maintain your RC10's performance and minimise downtime.
- Will these AS6383 Bones fit my RC10 model? — The 56mm Bones are compatible with a wide range of RC10 variants including the RC10 Classic 40th Anniversary, RC10 Jay Halsey Edition, RC10 40th Anniversary Green Edition, RC10 Team Car Gold Edition, RC10 Graphite Kit, RC10 Metallic Edition, RC10 4WD, RC10 Brian Kinwald Edition, RC10 '89 Stealth Car Masami Edition, and RC10 Vegas Car. However, Team Associated recommends checking your specific kit manual to confirm the required length and part number for your exact model, as different versions may use different specifications.
- Are these genuine Team Associated parts? — Yes, these are authentic OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) components produced by Team Associated. Genuine parts ensure perfect fitment, correct material composition, and reliability. Avoid cheaper aftermarket alternatives that may not meet the original specifications and could compromise your RC car's handling and durability.
- How often should I replace CVA Bones? — This depends on your driving style and terrain. Competitive racers on rough tracks may replace them every few months, while casual weekend bashers might go longer. You should inspect them regularly for cracks, bending, or damage. If you notice handling changes, steering issues, or visible damage, replacement is necessary. Keeping spares on hand means you're never caught short.
- What is the difference between 56mm and other length options? — The length of CVA Bones directly affects suspension geometry and ride height. Using the wrong length can cause poor handling, altered steering response, and suspension binding. The 56mm specification is designed for specific RC10 models. Always verify your model's requirements before purchasing to ensure compatibility.
- Can I use these for both racing and recreational bashing? — Absolutely. These genuine Team Associated CVA Bones are designed for the full range of RC10 use cases, from competitive circuit racing to backyard bashing. They'll perform reliably whether you're pushing for lap time records or simply enjoying weekend drives with friends.
