Key Features
- M3 Metric Thread — The M3 metric thread specification is the industry standard for RC models, ensuring compatibility with the widest possible range of RC cars, buggies, trucks and specialist vehicles, making this pack a truly universal spare.
- 14mm Length — The 14mm length is precisely engineered to suit the most common applications across Team Associated models and many other RC platforms, providing the right depth of engagement for secure fastening without over-extension.
- Button Head Design — The low-profile button head distributes load neatly across a wider surface area, reducing stress concentration and preventing surface damage to precision-machined alloy components that are typical in modern RC models.
- Hex Socket Drive — The internal hex socket drive provides secure engagement with quality hex drivers, enabling reliable tightening and loosening without the risk of tool slipping or stripping the drive recess that can damage both the screw and surrounding components.
- Pack of 10 — Ten screws per pack gives you multiple spares to handle routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements, ensuring you're never caught short during a race meeting or practice session at your local RC track.
- Team Associated Genuine — As official Team Associated parts, these screws meet the manufacturer's exact specifications and quality standards, ensuring perfect fit and performance in every application where specified.
Technical Performance
These M3 x 14 button head hex screws represent precision fastening engineering designed specifically for the demanding requirements of competitive and recreational RC racing. The metric M3 specification (3mm diameter) is the universal standard for RC vehicle assembly, providing the optimal balance between holding strength and ease of installation. The 14mm length positions the screw head just proud of the surface when installed, creating that characteristic clean appearance whilst maintaining secure mechanical engagement. The button head profile is engineered to provide maximum bearing surface for improved load distribution, a critical feature in high-vibration RC applications where shock loads from jumps, impacts and cornering forces are constant. The internal hex socket (also called an Allen key drive) is precision-molded to exacting tolerances, ensuring that properly-sized hex drivers engage fully without slipping or cam-out — a common problem with inferior fasteners that can strip the recess and leave you with a seized screw that requires destructive removal. The material specification and hardness of these genuine Team Associated fasteners ensures they resist stripping under the high torque loads typical in RC applications, where suspension arms, bulkheads and pivot blocks must be secured with sufficient preload to maintain precise geometry under extreme racing stresses.
