For anyone searching for the best brushless motor and ESC combo for their RC crawler or looking to upgrade their existing setup, this is a product that genuinely delivers on its promises.
Backed by Hobbywing's reputation as a leader in RC electronics, the QUICRUN Fusion Pro-Elite combines cutting-edge FOC (Field-oriented control) technology with intelligent torque management to provide an experience that is both exhilarating and intuitive. This is the optimal setup for 1/10th scale crawlers, delivering the low-speed torque and precise control that separates amateur builds from competition-grade machines.
Key Features
- Ultra-Compact Integrated Design — By combining the motor and ESC into a single 48.5mm unit, installation becomes dramatically simpler and the vehicle receives a cleaner, more professional appearance. This compact form factor fits nearly all 1/10th scale vehicles on the market, making it an ideal upgrade for existing crawlers or the perfect foundation for new builds.
- FOC Drive Technology — The QUICRUN Fusion Pro-Elite utilises Field-oriented control drive, which delivers significantly stronger low-speed torque and smoother performance compared to conventional sensored systems. This means your crawler will have the aggressive power needed to climb obstacles whilst maintaining excellent linearity for precise control, and the FOC system eliminates motor noise for near-silent operation that lets you fully enjoy the trail experience.
- Closed-Loop Intelligent Torque Control — The ESC features an intelligent torque output and speed closed-loop control system that automatically adapts to changing terrain conditions in real-time. When your crawler encounters resistance or an obstacle, the system increases output torque to help you overcome it. On descents, it reduces torque output and stabilises vehicle speed, making even challenging terrain feel remarkably simple to drive.
- 50A Continuous Output Current — With a maximum continuous output current of 50A and peak current of 150A, this system has the grunt needed for serious 1/10th scale crawler work. Whether you're running hard at full throttle or navigating technical terrain, the power delivery is consistent and reliable.
- 2-4S LiPo Battery Support — The ESC supports 2-cell through 4-cell LiPo batteries (or 6-12 cell NiMH), giving you flexibility in your power setup. You can run 2S for lighter terrain, 3S for general use, or push to 4S (14.8V) for maximum performance on demanding crawls.
- AUX External Control Channel — By connecting the yellow AUX CH signal wire to an unused receiver channel, you can adjust ESC parameters like drag brake force in real-time from your radio transmitter. This on-the-fly tuning capability means you can dial in the perfect setup for each trail without stopping to reprogram the ESC.
- IP67 All-Terrain Waterproof Protection — The entire power system is rated IP67, delivering outstanding waterproof and dustproof performance. Whether you're crawling through rain, snow, mud, sand, or even standing water, this system handles harsh environments with confidence. (Note: IP67 protects against splashes and normal water exposure but is not permanent; avoid extended submersion.)
- Built-in 10A High-Performance BEC — The integrated BEC (Battery Elimination Circuit) is capable of delivering up to 10A of continuous output current with selectable voltages of 6V, 7.4V, or 8.4V. This means you can power standard servos, high-voltage servos, lighting systems, winches, and other accessories directly from the main battery without needing a separate power supply.
- Five Selectable Operating Modes — The ESC offers versatile control with five operating modes to suit different driving styles and applications: Constant Speed Mode (Direct Forward/Reverse), Normal Mode (Forward/Reverse with Brake), Normal Mode (Direct Forward/Reverse without Constant Speed), Hybrid-RPM Matching Mode, and Hybrid-Normal Mode. This flexibility easily adapts to a wide range of crawler applications.
- 14 Adjustable Parameters — For users who want professional-level control, the ESC offers 14 adjustable parameters including running mode, LiPo cell count, cutoff voltage, thermal protection, motor rotation direction, BEC voltage, drag brake force, drag brake rate, maximum reverse force, maximum brake force, RPM decrease rate, punch, neutral range, and AUX channel function.
- Compatible with LED and LCD Pro Program Boxes — You can programme the ESC using the simple LED Program Box for basic adjustments, or upgrade to the advanced LCD Pro Program Box for a complete range of professional-level settings. An OTA (over-the-air) programmer is also supported, though Bluetooth is not currently available.
