Overview
The Traxxas Toe links (moulded composite) (75mm centre to center) (2) (assembled with hollow balls) TRX9192 are essential suspension components designed for precision RC car tuning and performance optimisation. These replacement toe links are manufactured by Traxxas, the world's leading name in ready to run RC cars and trucks, and are engineered to work seamlessly with the #9182 upgrade kit. Whether you're a competitive RC racer fine-tuning your 1/10 scale vehicle for maximum corner grip, a weekend basher looking to maintain peak handling characteristics, or an enthusiast discovering the critical role that suspension geometry plays in RC car performance, these toe links represent OEM-quality engineering that serious RC hobbyists depend on.
Toe links are fundamental suspension components that control the toe-in angle of your RC car's front wheels, directly influencing how your vehicle tracks through corners, responds to steering inputs, and maintains stability at speed. The Traxxas TRX9192 toe links feature moulded composite construction, which provides an excellent balance between durability and weight savings compared to alternatives. With a 75mm centre-to-centre measurement, these links are precisely engineered to work with specific Traxxas vehicle platforms, ensuring that when you install them as part of your suspension upgrade, you're getting geometry that matches the manufacturer's specifications exactly. The assembly includes hollow balls at each end, which integrate seamlessly with your existing suspension components and allow for smooth, unrestricted articulation throughout your car's suspension travel.
If you're building or upgrading an RC model car in the UK, sourcing genuine Traxxas spare parts like these toe links is crucial for maintaining the integrity of your setup. RC car suspension geometry is not an area where compromises should be made, and these Traxxas components give you the confidence that you're using parts designed and tested by the same engineers who created your vehicle.
Key Features
- Moulded Composite Construction — The toe links are manufactured from moulded composite material, which offers superior strength-to-weight ratio compared to plastic alternatives whilst remaining lightweight enough to minimise unsprung mass in your suspension system. This material choice ensures durability under the stresses of aggressive cornering and competitive driving.
- 75mm Centre-to-Centre Length — The precise 75mm measurement ensures that these toe links deliver the exact suspension geometry that Traxxas designed into your vehicle platform, maintaining proper wheel alignment and handling characteristics. Using the correct length is essential for steering response and corner stability.
- Hollow Ball Assemblies — Each toe link is pre-assembled with hollow ball joints at both ends, eliminating the need for additional assembly work and ensuring smooth, consistent articulation throughout your suspension's range of motion. The hollow ball design reduces rotational friction and allows unrestricted movement.
- Two-Pack Supply — This package includes two complete toe links, providing you with a full set to upgrade the front suspension of your RC vehicle in one straightforward replacement.
- Compatible with #9182 Upgrade Kit — These toe links are specifically engineered to work as part of the Traxxas #9182 upgrade kit, ensuring perfect integration with other suspension components in that package and delivering the intended performance gains.
- OEM Traxxas Engineering — As genuine Traxxas spare parts, these components are engineered, tested and quality-assured by the manufacturer themselves, guaranteeing compatibility and performance standards that aftermarket alternatives often cannot match.
Technical Performance
The Traxxas TRX9192 toe links represent precision suspension engineering in miniature. The moulded composite construction strikes an optimal balance between rigidity and weight, ensuring that your suspension maintains its designed geometry under cornering loads whilst keeping unsprung mass to a minimum. Unsprung mass is a critical factor in RC performance — the lighter the components that aren't supported by the suspension springs, the more responsive and composed your vehicle becomes over bumps and during direction changes. The 75mm centre-to-centre measurement is engineered specifically for Traxxas platform geometry, and deviation from this specification will alter your toe-in angle and negatively impact handling. The pre-assembled hollow ball joints eliminate the need for additional hardware and ensure that articulation occurs smoothly without binding or excessive play. These components work in conjunction with your vehicle's steering system, tie rods, and suspension arms to control wheel alignment precisely as you turn the steering wheel. The quality of your toe links directly influences whether your vehicle's steering feels responsive and accurate or vague and unpredictable. Built to the same exacting standards as the rest of your Traxxas RC car, these toe links will maintain consistent performance throughout extended periods of driving, whether you're practicing on local UK tracks or enjoying recreational bashings in fields and parks.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is a toe link and why does my RC car need one? — Toe links are suspension components that control the toe-in angle of your vehicle's wheels, which is the degree to which the wheels point inward or outward relative to the direction of travel. Proper toe-in geometry is essential for straight-line stability, cornering grip, and steering response. If your toe links are worn or bent, your handling will suffer noticeably, and you may experience unpredictable steering behaviour. The Traxxas TRX9192 replacements restore precise geometry to your suspension.
- Are these toe links suitable for competitive RC racing? — Yes, absolutely. These are genuine OEM Traxxas components manufactured to the same specifications as the suspension parts that come fitted to new Traxxas vehicles. Competitive RC racers depend on OEM-quality spare parts because they know the geometry is correct and the materials are proven. If you're racing your RC car at a UK circuit or competing in off-road events, using genuine Traxxas toe links ensures you have suspension geometry that matches your vehicle's design.
- What is the difference between these moulded composite toe links and alternatives? — The Traxxas TRX9192 uses moulded composite construction, which provides excellent durability and a low weight. Some aftermarket alternatives may use different materials or designs, but genuine Traxxas parts are engineered specifically for your vehicle platform and will deliver the handling characteristics the manufacturer intended. The hollow ball assembly design also ensures smooth, consistent articulation without binding.
- Will these fit my Traxxas RC car? — These toe links are designed for use with the #9182 upgrade kit and are compatible with specific Traxxas vehicle platforms. You should verify compatibility with your particular model before ordering. The part number TRX9192 is the reference you should use when checking compatibility information with your vehicle's documentation or with RC specialists.
- How do I know when my toe links need replacing? — Signs that your toe links may need replacement include loose or vague steering response, uneven wear on your tyres, or visible bending or damage to the links themselves. If you've had a heavy crash or collision, it's worth inspecting your suspension components, including toe links, for damage even if the vehicle still drives. Regular maintenance and inspection are part of responsible RC car ownership.
- Is installation straightforward? — Toe link replacement is a moderate-difficulty task that requires basic RC car maintenance knowledge and appropriate tools. You'll need to access your front suspension and unbolt the old links, then install these new ones in the same position. If you're unfamiliar with suspension work, consulting your vehicle's manual or seeking advice from experienced RC enthusiasts at a local club is recommended.
