Key Features
- Moulded Composite Construction — These toe links are manufactured from moulded composite material, which provides an excellent balance between strength and light weight, ensuring your RC car maintains optimal performance without unnecessary suspension mass that could affect handling response and battery runtime.
- Precise Dimensions — With a total length of 100mm and a centre-to-centre measurement of 89mm, these toe links are engineered to exact Traxxas specifications, allowing you to achieve proper front-end alignment geometry for consistent and predictable steering behaviour on any terrain.
- Factory-Genuine Quality — These are authentic Traxxas OEM parts, not aftermarket substitutes, meaning they're manufactured to the same quality standards as the original components that came with your RC vehicle, ensuring reliability and longevity that competitive racers depend on.
- Easy Installation — Designed as direct replacements, these toe links install quickly without additional modifications or adapters, getting your RC car back on the track or bash course in minutes rather than hours.
- Improves Steering Geometry — Properly functioning toe links are critical to maintaining correct wheel alignment angles, which directly impacts steering response, cornering stability, and overall handling precision—essential for both casual drivers and competition racers.
- Supplied as a Pair — You receive two toe links in this package, providing complete coverage for your RC car's front suspension geometry and ensuring balanced handling characteristics across both wheels.
- Black Colour — The sleek black finish provides a professional appearance whilst blending seamlessly with most Traxxas RC vehicle colour schemes and suspension components.
Technical Performance
Toe links are fundamental suspension components that determine the toe-in angle of your RC car's front wheels—the angle at which the wheels point relative to the vehicle's centreline when viewed from above. The Traxxas moulded composite construction delivers the strength-to-weight ratio that serious RC enthusiasts demand, whether you're running a ready-to-run RC car from the UK market or a custom-built competition rig. The 100mm overall length with 89mm centre-to-centre spacing is precision-engineered to work with specific Traxxas chassis platforms, allowing you to dial in the exact steering geometry that suits your driving style and track conditions. Composite materials offer several advantages over alternatives: they resist corrosion from moisture and road chemicals, maintain dimensional stability across temperature variations, and provide sufficient compliance to absorb minor impacts without binding or cracking. The moulded construction means there are no welded joints or weak points to fail under the demands of aggressive driving or high-speed bashers tearing up rough terrain. For racers fine-tuning their setup, adjustable toe-in angles (achieved through these link positioning) can significantly influence how your RC car enters and exits corners, how responsive the steering feels at different speeds, and how much tyre wear you experience during extended driving sessions. These components are wear items that should be inspected regularly and replaced if they become damaged, cracked, or if their dimensions change, as worn toe links will cause pulling to one side, uneven tyre wear, and unpredictable handling behaviour. Whether you're competing at RC racing clubs across the UK or enjoying casual weekend bashing with friends, maintaining proper toe link condition is essential to getting the most out of your RC car investment.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What are toe links and why do I need them for my RC car? — Toe links are suspension components that control the toe-in angle of your RC car's front wheels—essentially how much the wheels point inward or outward when viewed from above. Proper toe-in geometry is essential for straight-line tracking, corner entry and exit response, and even tyre wear. If your RC car pulls to one side, has unpredictable steering, or shows uneven tyre wear patterns, worn or incorrectly adjusted toe links might be the culprit. These Traxxas moulded composite links allow you to fine-tune that alignment for optimal handling.
- Are these toe links suitable for beginners or do I need advanced knowledge to install them? — These are straightforward suspension components that most RC enthusiasts can install with basic tools and mechanical knowledge. If you're comfortable working on your RC car's suspension system, you can handle toe link replacement easily. However, if you're entirely new to RC car maintenance, we'd recommend consulting your vehicle's manual or asking our team at RC Model Shop for guidance on proper installation and toe-in adjustment procedures.
- What Traxxas models are these toe links compatible with? — These specific toe links (100mm length, 89mm centre-to-centre) are designed for particular Traxxas platforms. We recommend checking your vehicle's parts diagram or contacting our knowledgeable team at RC Model Shop to confirm compatibility with your specific model before ordering, as using incorrect suspension geometry can affect handling and performance.
- How often should I replace my toe links? — Toe links are wear items that should be inspected regularly, particularly if you're racing frequently or driving aggressively. Look for cracks, discolouration, or dimensional changes that might indicate damage or stress. Many competitive racers replace suspension components proactively before they fail, ensuring consistent and predictable handling throughout racing seasons. If you notice steering response changes or uneven tyre wear, it's time to check your toe links.
- What's the difference between these composite toe links and other suspension options? — These moulded composite links offer an excellent balance of strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance compared to other materials. Composite construction resists the moisture and salt exposure that can affect metal components, whilst remaining significantly lighter than many alternative options. For UK RC enthusiasts driving in variable weather conditions, composite suspension components often outlast alternatives and maintain consistent performance across seasons.
- Can I adjust the toe-in angle with these toe links? — Yes, toe-in adjustment is achieved by changing the position of the toe link mounting points on your chassis and steering knuckle, or by using adjustable toe link variants. These standard Traxxas toe links provide the foundation for proper suspension geometry, and adjustment happens through careful positioning during installation rather than through the links themselves.
