This servo is engineered to drop seamlessly into most Traxxas vehicles for perfect factory fit compatibility. Whether you're upgrading an existing setup or building a new ready to run RC car, the TRX2070 is the trusted choice for drivers who refuse to compromise on steering performance.
Key Features
- Digital High-Torque Design — The servo produces 125 inch-ounces of torque, delivering aggressive steering authority that eliminates the mushy, sluggish response common in standard servos, ensuring you maintain precise control during aggressive cornering and tight manoeuvres.
- Brushless Motor Technology — The cutting-edge brushless motor provides consistent power delivery without brush wear, offering superior reliability and lifespan compared to traditional brushed servo motors, meaning your investment will serve you well for years of intense RC driving.
- Dual Ball Bearing Construction — Dual ball bearings support the servo shaft, dramatically reducing friction and mechanical play for smoother, more accurate steering inputs and improved overall handling characteristics that competitive drivers will immediately notice.
- Full Metal Gears — Heavy-duty metal gearing throughout the servo delivers the torque and durability needed for high-performance applications, resisting stripping and maintaining consistent performance even under extreme loads and aggressive steering inputs.
- Aluminium Centre Section — The reinforced aluminium construction provides superior heat dissipation during prolonged use, preventing servo overheating and maintaining peak performance throughout extended driving sessions on the track or bashing grounds.
- Fully Waterproof Construction — Unlike water-resistant alternatives, this servo is completely waterproof, not just splash-proof or water-resistant, allowing you to drive through wet conditions and water crossings without fear of internal moisture damage.
- Traxxas Factory Fit — The TRX2070 drops into most Traxxas 1/10 scale vehicles without modification, ensuring perfect compatibility and seamless installation for those upgrading their existing RC car UK setups.
Technical Performance
The Traxxas TRX2070 servo represents a significant step forward in RC steering technology. The combination of brushless motor technology, dual ball bearings, and full metal gears creates a servo that performs at the highest levels across multiple demanding applications. The 125 inch-ounce torque figure provides aggressive steering response without any of the lag or dead-zone characteristics that plague lower-torque servos. The digital control system ensures precise positioning and rapid response to transmitter input, critical for maintaining control during high-speed cornering and competitive racing scenarios. The brushless motor operates with remarkable smoothness, eliminating the micro-vibrations and inconsistencies that can accumulate with brushed designs over time. The dual ball bearing construction minimises mechanical play in the servo output shaft, translating directly to more accurate steering inputs and better overall vehicle handling. The aluminium centre section isn't merely cosmetic—it actively draws heat away from the electronics, allowing the servo to maintain optimal operating temperatures even during marathon driving sessions or under the intense demands of competitive racing. The fully waterproof design uses sealed electronics and reinforced case construction, protecting internal components from moisture, dirt, and the elements. For UK RC drivers using brushless RC cars and high-performance setups, this servo delivers the performance characteristics necessary for competitive success while maintaining the reliability expected from a premium Traxxas component.
