Key Features

  • 16 Fully Proportional Channels — This transmitter delivers 16 fully proportional channels with simultaneous response, exceeding current high-end systems that offer only 12 fully proportional channels. This means every function you could possibly need—from primary flight controls to auxiliary functions like gopro activation, flight mode switching, and payload deployment—can be assigned to dedicated proportional control channels, giving you unprecedented command flexibility for complex model operations.
  • 4096-Bit Resolution — With 4096 steps of resolution across all channels, the T16D provides exceptionally smooth and precise control inputs with no perceptible deadband or stuttering, essential for smooth aerobatic manoeuvres, precise camera gimbal control, and stable hovering in multirotor applications.
  • 3 Millisecond Response Time — All 16 channels respond simultaneously in just 3ms, providing the accurate, lag-free response that competitive pilots and precision operators demand, whether you're flying racing drones or executing complex aerobatic sequences.
  • 100-Model Memory Storage with 16 Groups of Subsidiary ID — Store up to 100 different model configurations in the transmitter's memory, allowing you to switch instantly between your entire fleet of aircraft, vehicles, and robots without losing any custom programming. The subsidiary ID system enables organisation and quick selection across related models.
  • FHSS Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum Protocol — Equipped with RadioLink's pioneering communication algorithms, the T16D uses FHSS technology to provide excellent interference rejection and rock-solid transmission stability. The system can support hundreds of simultaneous users at competitive events without interference, far exceeding the industry's previous maximum limit of eight units operating simultaneously.
  • 2.8-Inch Colour LCD Screen with LVGL GUI — The 240×320 pixel colour display features an intuitive user interface powered by freeRTOS operating system and LVGL graphical user interface, delivering a responsive, user-friendly experience that's more powerful and efficient than comparable systems. Navigation is genuinely intuitive—you can operate this transmitter immediately without an instruction manual.
  • Wide Power Input Range (7.4–18V) — The T16D accepts power from multiple sources: eight AA batteries, 2–4S LiPo batteries (3S maximum when using external high-frequency modules), or 18650 lithium batteries, giving you flexibility in powering your transmitter however suits your lifestyle and budget best.
  • Reverse Polarity Protection Circuit — Through intelligent circuit design, true reverse-polarity protection is achieved—if you insert the battery backwards, no current flows, so there's absolutely no risk of damaging the transmitter regardless of how long it remains incorrectly connected. This is genuine peace of mind for busy flying sessions.
  • Switching Mode Power Supply (SMPS) for Extended Runtime — The SMPS design makes the operating amperage only 100mA at 8.4VDC, consuming 50% less power than similar products on the market. You'll achieve twelve hours of continuous operation from an 1800mAh LiPo battery—ideal for full day's flying or field testing.
  • Comprehensive Transmitter and Receiver Telemetry — Real-time telemetry displays receiver battery voltage, RSSI (Receiver Signal Strength Indicator), GPS coordinates, satellite count, heading, distance, and ship voltage. The R16F receiver includes built-in data transmission functionality, providing vital flight information displayed beautifully on the colour screen.
  • Built-In Simulator Support — Connect via USB-C cable to your computer and use open-source simulators including TRYP FPV, AeroFly, Uncrashed, Liftoff, FPV LOGIC, and Velocidrone on both Windows and macOS systems. No external dongle required—genuine no-cost learning and practice.
  • Wireless Trainer Mode (Up to 600 Metres) — Unlike traditional trainer cables that restrict movement, the wireless trainer link allows instructors to move freely within 600 metres whilst teaching, eliminating the need to stand, run, or jump constantly throughout the entire training session. Traditional wired trainer mode is also supported.
  • 32 Groups of Programmable Mixing Controls — Unleash the full potential of complex models like excavators with 32 groups of programmable mixing, seamlessly controlling multi-functional operations including hydraulics, chainsaws, buckets, sound modules, and indicator lights to meet every simulation need.
  • Custom User-Defined Voice Alerts — Personalise your flying experience with custom voice broadcasts in multiple languages. The T16D supports Chinese, English, German, French, Russian, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, Thai, Polish, and more—with voice content, form, and language entirely customisable to your preferences.
  • 100-Location Fishing Point Memory — For bait boat operators, store up to 100 GPS coordinates of favourite fishing spots, each with custom names, eliminating the need to memorise or guess fishing-point numbers. Real-time telemetry displays distance to shore and waypoint information with interactive route mapping.
  • Ergonomically Designed Control Layout — Four 2-position switches, three 3-position switches, two proportional sliders that automatically return to centre, two rotary dials, and a dedicated trainer switch combine with a thoughtfully contoured grip to fit naturally in hands of all sizes and piloting styles, whether for recreation, competition, or 3D aerobatic flying.
  • Updatable Firmware via USB-C — Keep your transmitter current with the latest features and optimisations through simple online firmware updates via USB-C connection. The T16D uses cutting-edge freeRTOS operating system that can synchronise with the latest development needs anytime, providing unlimited upgrades throughout the life of the product.
  • Long-Range Module Compatibility — Fully supports ELRS 2.4GHz 1W modules, TBS Crossfire Nano TX, TBS Crossfire TX, and BETAFPV ELRS Nano TX for FPV aircraft full-parameter control. The modular design allows you to upgrade to long-range capability whenever you're ready without replacing the entire system.
  • One-Click Aircraft Mode Switching — Pre-loaded configurations for specific aircraft models (A560, D460, SU27, soccer drones, and FPV drones) enable instant optimisation for each airframe type. The system synchronises voice broadcasts of the current flight mode to prevent accidental mode switches during critical flight phases.
  • Digital Trims and Fail-Safe Capabilities — Precise digital trim adjustments allow fine-tuning of control response, whilst fail-safe programming ensures your model returns home or descends safely if radio contact is lost—essential safety features for outdoor flying in the UK.
  • S-Bus Receiver Compatibility — The included R16F receiver uses the modern S-Bus protocol, providing reliable communication and enabling advanced telemetry functions whilst maintaining full compatibility with traditional receivers.
  • One-Key Restore User-Defined Settings — Save and restore custom configurations instantly, allowing OEMs, training institutions, and individual users to quickly switch between factory defaults and custom programming without loss of data.
  • Sturdy Metal Carry Handle — A reinforced metal handle makes transporting your transmitter to the flying field convenient and secure, protecting it from the knocks and bumps of regular use.
