Overview

The GT Power X2 Mini Charger 100W AC / 100W x2 DC is a professional-grade dual-channel battery charger designed for serious RC enthusiasts across the UK. Whether you're an experienced racer, a weekend basher, or exploring the world of RC for the first time, this versatile charging solution delivers the performance and reliability you need. G.T. Power has built a formidable reputation in the RC community for producing some of the best quality battery charging and care devices available, and the X2 Mini continues this tradition of excellence.

With an impressive 200W of total charge power split between two completely independent 100W channels, the X2 Mini enables you to charge batteries with significantly higher amperage in considerably less time than conventional single-channel chargers. The dual-channel design means you can charge two separate batteries simultaneously using completely different charge or discharge routines, making this an ideal solution for anyone running multiple RC cars, boats, drones or other RC models. The charger's compact size belies its powerful capabilities, making it perfect for use at home, at the track, at the field, or by the lake.

With both AC mains input (100~240V) and DC input (11~26V) options, the X2 Mini offers exceptional flexibility for UK RC hobbyists. The AC input makes it perfect for workshop charging at home, whilst the DC input capability means you can power it from vehicle supplies at the track or field, eliminating the need for multiple chargers. The blue backlit LCD display with dual 16-character lines makes parameter selection intuitive and allows you to monitor battery status clearly in any lighting conditions, whether you're charging indoors or under field conditions.

Key Features

  • Dual Independent 100W Channels — Each of the two channels delivers a full 100W of charging power independently, allowing you to charge two separate batteries simultaneously with completely different charge rates, discharge routines or battery chemistries without any power sharing or compromise on charging speed.
  • AC 100W Shared Power Input — When running from mains AC power (100~240V compatible with UK wall sockets), the charger provides 100W shared across both channels, with intelligent power management to allocate charging power efficiently between your two batteries.
  • DC 100W x2 Independent Power Delivery — When connected to a DC power source (11~26V input range), each channel receives its own dedicated 100W of charging power, enabling rapid simultaneous charging of two batteries without speed reduction or sharing limitations.
  • Flexible Input Options — The combination of AC and DC input capabilities makes this charger suitable for use anywhere: plug into UK mains at home, or connect to a DC power supply or vehicle battery at the track, field or lake, giving you true portability and convenience for RC car UK enthusiasts.

  • Compact and Portable Design — Despite its powerful 200W total output capability, the X2 Mini features a compact footprint that makes it easy to transport between home, the workshop, the track, or the field without sacrificing performance or functionality.

Technical Performance

The GT Power X2 Mini represents exceptional engineering and build quality, combining professional-grade charging technology with practical design considerations for the serious RC enthusiast. The charger's dual-channel architecture is engineered to provide completely independent power delivery to each output, meaning you never experience power compromise or charging speed reduction when using both channels simultaneously. The input voltage flexibility (AC 100~240V or DC 11~26V) demonstrates thoughtful engineering for real-world use — whether you're at home plugging into standard UK mains sockets or field-side with a DC supply, the X2 adapts to your power source. The blue backlit LCD interface uses a proven 16-character by 2-line display format that balances information density with readability, enabling quick selection of charging parameters even in outdoor or poorly lit environments. The 0.01V cell balance tolerance represents precision engineering rarely found in this price category; this exceptional accuracy ensures lithium batteries are balanced to within a tiny voltage window, protecting cell health and maximising cycle life. Support for eight different battery chemistries (LiPo, LiFe, LiIon, LiHV, NiMH, NiCd, lead-acid and others) demonstrates versatile algorithm design, with each chemistry receiving dedicated charging profiles optimised for safe, rapid charging. The adjustable charge current in 0.1A increments from 0.1A to 10.0A provides granular control suitable for everything from micro RC helicopters using 1S LiPo batteries at 1A, through to larger RC car and truck packs requiring 8-10A charging. The XT60 connector choice reflects industry-standard reliability and widespread compatibility across modern RC equipment. The ability to store and recall profiles for ten separate batteries eliminates repetitive programming and exemplifies user-focused engineering.
