Key Features
- Matched Pair Design — This set includes two Night Blades that are precision-matched to each other, ensuring balanced rotor dynamics and smooth, vibration-free flight characteristics. Mismatched or damaged blades can cause tracking issues and instability, so having a properly matched pair is essential for optimal helicopter performance.
- 235mm Length Specification — At 9.25 inches (235mm), these blades are engineered for helicopters that require this specific blade length. The precise 235mm dimension ensures compatibility with your airframe and maintains the correct rotor disc loading for safe and stable flight.
- Black Finish — The Night Blade design features a distinctive black colouration that not only looks professional but also serves a practical purpose. The dark finish can help reduce glint and reflection in bright conditions, improving visibility during flight operations and making it easier to track your helicopter in the sky.
- Quality Construction — Blade manufactures these rotor blades to exacting standards using quality materials and processes. The blade profile and construction are optimised for smooth rotation, minimal vibration and reliable performance across a wide range of flying conditions.
- Easy Installation — As straightforward airframe parts, these blades integrate seamlessly into any RC helicopter application that specifies 235mm blades. Installation is quick and straightforward, allowing you to get back in the air with minimal setup time.
Technical Performance
The Blade Night Blade Set 235mm represents precision engineering in rotor blade design. Each blade in this matched pair is manufactured to deliver consistent aerodynamic performance and balanced rotation characteristics. The 235mm length is a critical specification that determines compatibility with specific RC helicopter models and airframes. The black finish on these Night Blades is not merely aesthetic—it reflects Blade's commitment to functional design that serves the needs of RC pilots. The blade profile is engineered to provide smooth lift generation, responsive flight dynamics and reliable performance across various flight regimes. Whether you're performing gentle hovering manoeuvres or more dynamic acrobatic flying, properly matched rotor blades are fundamental to achieving the control precision and stability your RC helicopter demands. The construction quality ensures that these blades maintain their shape and aerodynamic properties through extended use, contributing to consistent flight performance and reducing the need for frequent replacement cycles. For RC enthusiasts in the UK looking to maintain their helicopters at peak performance levels, investing in quality replacement blades like this Blade set is one of the most important maintenance decisions you can make.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are these blades compatible with my RC helicopter? — The Blade Night Blade Set 235mm is designed for any RC helicopter application that specifies 235mm blades. Check your helicopter's documentation or manufacturer specifications to confirm that your airframe requires 235mm blades before purchasing. If your helicopter calls for 235mm rotor blades, this set will be the perfect match.
- Why should I replace my rotor blades regularly? — Rotor blades are precision components that endure significant stress during flight operations. Over time, they can suffer from minor damage, loss of aerodynamic profile precision, or blade tracking issues that develop through normal wear. Replacing blades with a quality matched set like the Blade Night Blade Set ensures your helicopter maintains optimal flight characteristics, smooth operation and responsive control response.
- What is blade tracking and why does it matter? — Blade tracking refers to how evenly your rotor blades rotate through their arc. When blades are properly matched and in good condition, they track together smoothly, creating balanced lift and minimising vibration. Damaged or mismatched blades create uneven tracking, which can cause vibration, reduce stability and make your helicopter difficult to control. This matched pair from Blade ensures proper tracking for smooth flight.
- How often should I replace my rotor blades? — This depends on your flying frequency and style. Blades used in regular weekly flying may need replacement every few months, whilst those used occasionally might last longer. Inspect your blades regularly for signs of damage, warping or loss of aerodynamic sharpness. If you notice increased vibration, tracking issues or visible blade damage, it's time to install fresh blades from a reliable source like the Blade Night Blade Set.
- Can I use these blades as spares or upgrades? — Absolutely. Many RC pilots keep spare blade sets on hand for quick replacement between flying sessions, ensuring they always have a matched pair ready to go. Others use them as an upgrade path when their existing blades show wear. Either way, having quality replacement blades available means less downtime and more flying time.
