Overview
The ARRMA Shock Spring C=0.359N/mm in Green (Z-ARA330835) is an essential suspension upgrade and replacement component for RC enthusiasts in the UK who demand consistent, reliable performance from their ARRMA vehicles. These precision-engineered shock springs have been specifically selected by ARRMA engineers to deliver the perfect suspension geometry and handling characteristics for a range of popular models including the Gorgon MT and Quake 223S. Whether you are a weekend basher enjoying high-speed runs across local trails, a competition racer fine-tuning your setup for maximum grip, or an experienced RC hobbyist maintaining your fleet of ready to run RC cars, having quality replacement springs on hand ensures your vehicle performs at its peak without compromising durability or reliability.
Suspension tuning is one of the most critical aspects of RC car performance, and shock springs form the foundation of any well-balanced setup. The 0.359N/mm spring rate (often called "C" rate in ARRMA terminology) strikes an excellent balance between responsiveness and stability, making these springs suitable for a wide variety of driving conditions and surfaces. From smooth asphalt to rough off-road terrain, these springs work in harmony with the rest of your vehicle's suspension system to absorb impacts, maintain consistent ground contact, and keep your RC model performing predictably at all times. Each pack includes 2 shock springs, allowing you to refresh both sides of your vehicle's suspension or maintain spare components for competitive events.
ARRMA's commitment to quality and engineering excellence ensures that every component bearing their name meets strict manufacturing tolerances and material standards. The Shock Spring C=0.359N/mm represents genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) suspension tuning hardware that works seamlessly with your existing ARRMA platform. If you own any Gorgon MT variant or Quake 223S model, keeping genuine ARRMA springs in your spares box is simply good RC car maintenance practice and ensures your vehicle continues to handle exactly as ARRMA engineers intended.
Key Features
- Genuine ARRMA OEM Component — This shock spring is manufactured by ARRMA and engineered specifically for their suspension systems, ensuring perfect compatibility and consistent performance that aftermarket alternatives cannot guarantee. Using genuine springs maintains the integrity of your vehicle's suspension geometry and handling characteristics.
- Spring Rate 0.359N/mm (C Rate) — This specific spring constant provides balanced suspension performance across a wide range of driving surfaces and conditions, offering responsive handling without sacrificing stability or causing excessive body roll during aggressive cornering and acceleration.
- Strong and Durable Spring Steel Construction — Manufactured from high-quality spring steel with precision manufacturing processes, these springs deliver long-lasting and consistent performance through countless impacts, jumps, and rough terrain encounters without losing their original spring rate characteristics or developing permanent deformation.
- Precision Manufactured for Fast and Easy Installation — Each spring is manufactured to exact specifications with tight tolerances, allowing quick and hassle-free installation into your shock absorbers without requiring modification, adjustment, or special tools. Simply remove old springs and install new ones for immediate performance restoration.
- Colour Coded Green for Easy Identification — The distinctive green colour coding makes it simple to identify these springs at a glance, helping you quickly locate the correct spring rate in your spares collection and distinguish them from springs of different rates across your RC car fleet.
- Pack of Two Springs — Each purchase includes 2 complete shock springs, allowing you to replace both shock absorbers simultaneously and maintain perfectly matched suspension geometry across the front and rear of your vehicle for balanced handling.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Shock Spring C=0.359N/mm delivers exceptional engineering in a compact suspension component. The 0.359N/mm spring rate is precisely calibrated to work with ARRMA's suspension geometry and chassis design, providing the ideal balance between compliance and support. When compressed by impacts from jumps or rough terrain, these springs absorb and dissipate energy smoothly, then return to their original length quickly to maintain consistent ride height and ground contact. The spring steel material selected by ARRMA offers superior fatigue resistance compared to weaker materials, meaning these springs will maintain their original rate characteristics through hundreds of compression cycles without permanent set or sagging. The precision manufacturing process ensures that both springs in a pair are perfectly matched, eliminating any handling inconsistencies that could result from mismatched spring rates. This colour-coded green designation is part of ARRMA's comprehensive spring rate identification system, allowing drivers to easily select and swap different rates to fine-tune their suspension setup for specific surfaces and driving styles. The compact design integrates seamlessly into ARRMA's existing shock absorber cartridges without requiring modification or adaptation, ensuring quick changes during pit time at the track or home garage maintenance sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Which ARRMA vehicles are compatible with the Shock Spring C=0.359N/mm? — This spring is compatible with a comprehensive range of ARRMA 1/10 scale vehicles including all variants of the Gorgon MT (available in Blue, Red, Gun Metal, Yellow, and Purple configurations) whether as RTR (Ready-To-Run) models with 8.4v Battery and USB Charger, MEGA 550 brushless versions, or Ready-To-Assemble kits. The springs also fit the Quake 223S DSC 2WD RTR Brushless Monster Truck in Green, Red, and Purple variants. Check your vehicle's documentation or contact our team at RC Model Shop for confirmation of compatibility with your specific model.
- What spring rate should I choose for my driving style? — The 0.359N/mm C rate is ARRMA's recommended spring rate for general all-around driving on mixed terrain and surfaces. Stiffer springs provide more stability during high-speed runs and aggressive cornering but can feel harsh on very rough terrain, whilst softer springs improve grip and comfort on bumpy surfaces but may allow excessive body roll. The C rate represents an excellent balanced choice for most UK RC drivers. If you compete or prefer specific terrain characteristics, ARRMA offers alternative spring rates that can be mixed and matched for custom setups.
- How often should I replace my shock springs? — Well-maintained springs can last for hundreds of driving sessions if kept clean and stored properly. However, if you notice inconsistent handling, reduced suspension responsiveness, sagging ride height, or visible damage to the springs, replacement is recommended. Springs lose their spring rate over time due to metal fatigue and permanent deformation, so competitive drivers often refresh springs regularly to maintain consistent performance. Having spare springs on hand from RC Model Shop ensures you are never left unable to run your vehicle at the track.
- What is the difference between shock springs with different colour codes? — ARRMA uses colour coding to identify different spring rates at a glance. The green C rate springs (0.359N/mm) represent the mid-range stiffness in ARRMA's suspension lineup. Alternative rates in different colours allow fine-tuning for specific conditions: stiffer springs for racing or high-speed running, softer springs for rough terrain and rock crawling. Many experienced drivers keep multiple spring rates on hand to adapt quickly to changing conditions during a day of driving.
- Are these genuine ARRMA springs or aftermarket alternatives? — These are genuine OEM ARRMA springs manufactured to the exact specifications set by ARRMA engineers. They offer the guaranteed quality, precise spring rates, and perfect compatibility that ARRMA owners expect. Choosing genuine OEM springs ensures your vehicle performs and handles exactly as the manufacturer intended.
- Can I use these springs on other RC vehicles? — These springs are specifically designed and tested for ARRMA shock absorber cartridges and suspension geometry. Using them on non-ARRMA vehicles may result in improper fit, poor suspension performance, or damage to your vehicle. For best results, always use springs matched to your specific vehicle model and manufacturer recommendations.
