Whether you're maintaining your ARRMA RC car, repairing damage from weekend bashing sessions, or building a custom RC setup, these precision-engineered fasteners are indispensable. ARRMA is a recognised leader in the RC hobby industry, and their commitment to quality extends to every component they produce, including these reliable flat head hex machine screws. If you're running an ARRMA RC model or need replacement screws that meet OEM specifications, this pack of 10 screws ensures you have spares on hand for quick repairs and maintenance.

These M3x18mm flat head hex machine screws are specifically designed to fit ARRMA RC vehicles and compatible platforms. The metric sizing (M3 diameter, 18mm overall length) makes them suitable for various applications across RC cars, buggies, trucks, and crawlers. As an RC hobbyist based in the UK, you'll appreciate having genuine ARRMA parts in your spare parts box—they ensure proper fit, security, and longevity of your RC investment. The flat head hex configuration allows for flush mounting in countersunk holes whilst providing excellent grip and control during installation and removal.

RC Model Shop stocks genuine ARRMA replacement parts, and these flat head hex machine screws are backed by our commitment to supplying authentic hardware that meets manufacturer specifications. Whether you're a seasoned RC competitor, a weekend basher, or just getting started with RC vehicles in the UK, having quality replacement screws ensures your model stays in peak condition for maximum enjoyment and performance.

Key Features

  • Flat Head Hex Machine Design — The flat head (countersunk) configuration allows these screws to sit flush with your RC model's surface, whilst the hex socket provides secure grip and prevents stripping when tightening or loosening, which is crucial for repeated maintenance and repairs on RC vehicles.
  • M3 x 18mm Metric Sizing — These screws measure 3mm in diameter and 18mm in overall length, making them compatible with ARRMA RC kits and other vehicles that specify this exact metric size, ensuring proper fit and function without forcing or gaps.
  • High-Quality Steel Construction — Manufactured from strong, durable steel, these screws deliver long-lasting performance even when exposed to the vibrations, impacts, and environmental stresses that come with regular RC use and outdoor bashing sessions.
  • Precision-Manufactured Threads — The screws feature precision-engineered threads that provide consistent, reliable fitting every time, reducing the risk of cross-threading and ensuring rapid, frustration-free assembly and disassembly during maintenance or repairs.
  • Pack of 10 Screws — This generous quantity means you'll have multiple spare screws available for replacements, upgrades, or building custom configurations without running short during a critical repair or build session.
  • OEM Specification Replacement Part — These are genuine ARRMA parts designed specifically for ARRMA RC vehicles, guaranteeing that they meet the exact specifications and quality standards required by the manufacturer for safe and secure operation.

Technical Performance

These ARRMA flat head hex machine screws represent precision engineering at the component level. The M3x18mm metric specification is carefully chosen to provide optimal holding power for suspension arms, servo mounts, electronics trays, and other critical assembly points on ARRMA RC models. The steel construction ensures exceptional durability, resisting the corrosion that can occur from exposure to dirt, moisture, and environmental contaminants during outdoor RC bashing in the UK. The precision-manufactured threads bite cleanly into threaded inserts and holes without slipping or stripping, a critical feature when you're tightening fasteners on vibration-prone RC vehicles. The flat head design allows for a clean, flush installation that doesn't protrude above the surface, maintaining your model's aesthetic integrity whilst reducing snag points during high-speed runs. The hex socket feature provides superior torque application compared to traditional Phillips or slotted screws, allowing you to apply consistent, controlled tightening force without damaging the screw head—essential when working on precision RC equipment where over-tightening can crack plastic components or strip threads.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What ARRMA models are compatible with these M3x18mm flat head hex machine screws? — These screws are designed as OEM replacement parts for ARRMA RC vehicles. If your ARRMA kit originally supplied M3x18mm flat head hex machine screws, these are the correct replacements. Consult your ARRMA instruction manual or parts diagram to confirm the exact screw specifications required for your model, as different ARRMA vehicles (such as the ARRMA Typhon, ARRMA Senton, ARRMA Granite, or ARRMA Infraction) may use different fastener sizes in various locations.
  • Why should I choose genuine ARRMA replacement screws over generic alternatives? — Genuine ARRMA parts are manufactured to exact OEM specifications, ensuring perfect fit, reliable thread engagement, and consistent quality. Generic screws may have slightly different dimensions, inferior thread precision, or weaker material that could lead to loosening, cross-threading, or failure under the stresses of RC use. For a crucial component like fasteners, using genuine ARRMA parts protects your investment and ensures your model performs safely and reliably.
  • How many screws will I need for a typical repair or rebuild? — This depends on your specific repair or project. ARRMA models typically use multiple M3x18mm screws across various assemblies—servo mounts, suspension geometry points, electronics tray mounting, and body panels may all use this size. Having a pack of 10 screws gives you flexibility for single repairs, multiple replacements, or completely rebuilding fastener assemblies on one or more RC vehicles without running short.
  • Are these screws suitable for high-speed RC bashers? — Absolutely. These precision-engineered screws are designed to handle the vibration and impact stresses that come with high-speed RC bashers. The flat head hex machine design provides secure locking that resists vibration-induced loosening. For added security on vehicles prone to vibration, consider using threadlock compound (such as Loctite) in addition to these screws to maintain component security during aggressive driving.
  • What is the difference between flat head hex machine screws and standard screws? — Flat head (countersunk) screws sit flush with the surface for a clean appearance, whilst the hex socket design provides superior grip and torque application compared to Phillips or slotted heads. This combination makes them ideal for RC applications where aesthetics matter, a secure hold is essential, and precision fastening is required. The flat head also reduces snags and ensures components won't catch during high-speed runs.
  • Can I use these screws on RC models other than ARRMA? — These M3x18mm flat head hex machine screws can potentially fit other RC brands that specify this exact metric size. However, we recommend confirming compatibility with your vehicle's manual or manufacturer specifications before use. Using the correct OEM fasteners for your specific model ensures optimal fit, security, and performance.
  • How do I properly install and tighten these hex machine screws? — Use a properly-sized hex key (Allen key) that fits snugly in the socket—an ill-fitting key can strip the socket. Apply firm, steady pressure and turn slowly to avoid cross-threading. Tighten firmly but do not overtighten, as excessive force can crack plastic inserts or strip threads in softer materials. For added vibration resistance, apply a small amount of medium-strength threadlock compound to the screw before installation.
