Whether you're maintaining your ready to run RC car UK or customising your Gorgon MT to match your personal style, this dedicated lower skid and bumper mount set delivers the durability and aesthetic appeal you need. ARRMA is a globally recognised manufacturer of high-performance RC vehicles, and their genuine spare parts maintain the same quality standards as their complete models. This particular set is designed specifically for the Gorgon platform, ensuring perfect fitment and compatibility across the entire Gorgon MT range, including all RTR (Ready To Run) versions and build-it-yourself kits.
RC enthusiasts who bash their models regularly understand the importance of having tough, reliable protection for the undercarriage of their vehicles. The lower skid and bumper mounts are crucial components that shield your Gorgon MT's chassis from impacts, rocks, and obstacles encountered during off-road driving. If your current skid or bumper mounts have been damaged, warped, or you simply want to refresh your setup with a new colour option, this genuine ARRMA spare part is the perfect solution. The bright pink colouring allows you to express your individuality and customise your vehicle's appearance whilst maintaining authentic ARRMA engineering and durability standards.
This is an ideal choice for anyone who owns or plans to own a Gorgon MT, from casual weekend bashers to serious RC enthusiasts who participate in local racing or off-road competitions. Having spare lower skids and bumper mounts on hand means minimal downtime when your current parts wear out or break, allowing you to keep your Gorgon MT running and ready for action whenever you are.
Key Features
- Tough Composite Construction — The lower skid and bumper mounts are manufactured from durable composite materials that provide excellent impact resistance and flexibility, protecting your chassis from damage during aggressive driving or crashes without becoming brittle or snapping under stress like cheaper plastic alternatives.
- Coloured Part for Vehicle Customisation — The pink colouring of this set allows you to personalise your ARRMA Gorgon MT and create a unique aesthetic that reflects your style, making your RC car stand out at the local club or during weekend bashing sessions.
- Perfect Fitment and Compatibility — This is a genuine ARRMA spare part specifically designed for the Gorgon MT platform, guaranteeing perfect alignment, mounting and performance across all compatible Gorgon variants without the guesswork of universal or third-party alternatives.
- Complete Replacement Set — The package includes everything needed for a full lower skid and bumper refresh, with the lower skid itself plus both bumper loops and the bumper mount bracket, eliminating the need to purchase multiple separate components.
- Essential Maintenance Component — Regular replacement of worn skid and bumper mounts keeps your Gorgon MT's undercarriage protection in peak condition, extending the life of your chassis and transmission whilst maintaining authentic performance and handling characteristics.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Lower Skid And Bumper Mount Set is engineered to withstand the rigours of 1/10 scale RC off-road driving. The composite construction provides an ideal balance between impact absorption and structural rigidity, allowing the skid to flex slightly on impact without permanently deforming, which helps protect the aluminium chassis underneath from costly damage. The lower skid sits beneath the Gorgon's transmission and differential, bearing the brunt of impacts against rocks, logs, and rough terrain, whilst the bumper mounts secure the front and rear bumper loops to the chassis. This configuration ensures that your Gorgon MT maintains proper ground clearance and approach angles essential for technical off-road driving. The bumper loops themselves act as secondary protection, deflecting smaller obstacles and distributing impact forces across a wider area. The bright pink colour does not compromise any protective or performance qualities; it is purely aesthetic customisation. This replacement set is compatible with a comprehensive range of Gorgon MT variants, including the C-ARA3230T1 (Gorgon MT RTR no Battery/Charger in Blue), C-ARA3230ST1 (Gorgon MT RTR with 8.4v Battery and USB Charger in Yellow), C-ARA3230ST2 (Gorgon MT RTR with 8.4v Battery and USB Charger in Red), C-ARA3230ST3 (1/10 Gorgon MEGA 550 2WD MT with Battery Charger in Gun Metal), C-ARA3230ST4 (1/10 Gorgon MEGA 550 2WD MT with Battery Charger in Purple), C-ARA3230ST5 (1/10 Gorgon MEGA 550 2WD MT with Battery Charger in Blue), C-ARA3230SKT1 (Gorgon MT Ready-To-Assemble Kit with Battery and Charger), and C-ARA3230SKT2 (1/10 Gorgon 2WD RTA Kit Brushed Monster Truck in Clear). This broad compatibility makes it an invaluable spare part for anyone with a Gorgon in their collection.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What Gorgon MT models is this lower skid and bumper mount set compatible with? — This genuine ARRMA spare part (Z-ARA320783) is compatible with the full range of Gorgon 2WD monster trucks, including the standard Gorgon MT RTR models available in Blue, Yellow and Red variants, the Gorgon MEGA 550 versions in Gun Metal, Purple and Blue, and both the Ready-To-Assemble Kit versions. Whether you own a complete RTR ready to run RC car or are building a kit model, this lower skid set will fit perfectly.
- When should I replace my lower skid and bumper mounts? — You should inspect your lower skid and bumper mounts regularly during maintenance. Replace them if you notice visible cracks, warping, permanent deformation, or if they no longer provide adequate protection to your chassis. Heavy bashers and competition drivers may need replacements more frequently than casual weekend drivers.
- Is this a genuine ARRMA part? — Yes, the Z-ARA320783 is an official ARRMA spare part manufactured to the same exacting standards as the components supplied with new Gorgon MT models. Purchasing genuine ARRMA spares ensures perfect fitment, authentic performance, and warranty protection.
- Can I use other colours of bumper mounts with the pink set? — Technically yes, as the colours are purely cosmetic and do not affect performance. However, if you want a completely unified aesthetic with your Gorgon MT, you may prefer to source matching bumper mounts in the same pink colour or use this set on a vehicle where pink accents fit your design scheme.
- How difficult is it to install this lower skid and bumper mount set? — Installation is straightforward and suitable for anyone with basic RC maintenance experience. You will need standard RC tools such as hex keys and screwdrivers. Detailed assembly diagrams are available in the official ARRMA Gorgon MT manuals, and many YouTube tutorial videos walk through the installation process step-by-step.
- Will this improve my Gorgon MT's performance? — This is a replacement part rather than a performance upgrade, so it will not change your Gorgon's speed, acceleration, or handling characteristics. However, maintaining fresh, undamaged skid and bumper mounts is essential for preserving your vehicle's original performance and protecting more expensive components like the transmission and differential.
