Key Features
- Tough Composite Construction — This battery door is manufactured from durable composite material that withstands the rigours of off-road RC driving, impacts, and regular use without cracking or warping like inferior plastic alternatives might. The composite construction provides excellent strength-to-weight ratio, ensuring your RC car maintains optimal performance without unnecessary added mass.
- Colour-Customisation Option — The vibrant purple finish allows you to customise your vehicle's appearance and create a cohesive colour scheme throughout your RC build or fleet. If you're running multiple ARRMA vehicles or simply want your RC car to stand out at the track or bash spot, this coloured part makes it easy to personalise your model with genuine manufacturer parts.
- Pre-Attached Protection Pads — This battery door set comes with three protective pads already attached, eliminating the need for additional assembly or sourcing separate padding materials. These pads cushion your battery during operation, reducing vibration transmission and providing shock absorption that protects both the battery and the interior chassis components from impact damage during aggressive driving.
- Genuine ARRMA Part — As an officially manufactured ARRMA component, this battery door set is engineered to exact specifications and integrates perfectly with compatible ARRMA vehicles, ensuring proper fit, finish, and long-term reliability.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Battery Door Set Z-ARA320771 is engineered to the same standards as original equipment, featuring robust composite construction that resists the wear and tear of regular RC driving. The material choice reflects ARRMA's commitment to balancing durability with lightweight design — a crucial consideration in RC vehicle engineering where unnecessary weight negatively impacts acceleration, handling, and battery runtime. The pre-installed protective pads are precision-fitted to absorb vibration and cushion impacts without adding significant mass, meaning your RC car's performance characteristics remain unchanged whilst gaining the protective benefits of genuine ARRMA engineering. This replacement part maintains compatibility with the original battery door mounting points and latch mechanism across the range of compatible ARRMA vehicles, including the Fury 223S brushless short course truck, Gorgon mega monster truck, Quake brushless monster truck, and Vorteks 2WD RC models. The purple colour finish is applied using ARRMA's standard automotive-grade paint process, ensuring colour consistency with other purple ARRMA parts and excellent UV resistance for outdoor RC driving.
