Overview

The Logic RC CA Tyre Glue - Super Thin 20g (S-G11/20) is a professional-grade cyanoacrylate adhesive specifically formulated for RC enthusiasts who demand precision bonding and rapid curing times. Whether you're assembling your latest RC car, preparing tyres for competition, or working on detailed scale models, this thin CA glue delivers the speed and strength that serious modellers rely on. The super thin formulation makes it ideal for applications where precision is critical and excess adhesive must be avoided, making it a favourite among RC competitors and hobby builders across the UK.

This product is essential for anyone maintaining an RC fleet or building new models. If you're working with RC buggies, RC monster trucks, RC crawlers, or any other RC vehicle type, having a quality tyre glue on your workbench is non-negotiable. The 20g bottle size is convenient for regular use without being wasteful, and the rapid curing action means you can move on to your next task quickly. Professional modellers and weekend bashers alike appreciate the consistency and reliability that Logic RC adhesives bring to every project.

For those seeking a complete adhesive solution, Logic RC offers an entire range of glues including cyanoacrylate options in thin, medium and thick formulations, foam-friendly variants, de-bonders, wood glues, and locking compounds. The S-G11/20 fits perfectly into this ecosystem as the thin CA option for precision tyre work and detailed bonding tasks.

Key Features

  • Super thin cyanoacrylate formula — The super thin consistency allows for precise application without excess glue oozing out onto your RC tyres or rims, which is especially important when you want clean, professional-looking results on visible surfaces.
  • Cures in seconds — Rapid curing action means you can complete your tyre gluing or assembly work quickly and move on to testing or the next stage of your project without waiting around for adhesive to set.
  • High-strength bonding performance — Despite its thin formulation, this glue delivers high-strength bonds that hold reliably through demanding RC driving conditions, from casual backyard bashing to competitive racing.
  • 20g bottle size — The convenient 20g bottle is ideal for regular use and provides excellent value, with enough adhesive for numerous bonding tasks without being so large that it dries out between uses.
  • Suitable for multiple materials — Beyond RC tyres, this adhesive works effectively on rubber, plastics, metal, balsa wood, leather, ceramics, stone, glass and paper, making it genuinely versatile for your entire RC workshop.
  • Professional modelling adhesive — Formulated by Logic RC, a recognised manufacturer of quality adhesives for professional modellers, ensuring you get consistent performance and reliability with every application.

Technical Performance

The Logic RC CA Tyre Glue - Super Thin operates on cyanoacrylate chemistry, which is the gold standard for rapid adhesive bonding in RC modelling. The thin formulation is specifically engineered to provide optimal flow and penetration into small gaps and porous surfaces without creating large adhesive beads that would mar the appearance of your finished work. When applied to RC tyre mounting, the adhesive bonds instantly to both the rubber tyre material and the plastic or metal rim, creating a joint that withstands the centrifugal forces, sideways stress, and impact loads experienced during RC driving. The 20g bottle size provides adequate supply for regular workshop use, and as a cyanoacrylate product, it requires no mixing, no heating, and no curing oven — simply apply and allow seconds for the bond to set. The thin consistency makes it particularly valuable for applications where you need to avoid excess glue running into bearings, wheel hubs, or other moving components that could be damaged by adhesive overflow.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is Logic RC Tyre Glue the best option for gluing RC tyres to rims? — Yes, this product is specifically formulated for the purpose of bonding RC tyres to rims. The super thin formulation ensures that excess glue doesn't overflow into wheel bearings or hub components, and the rapid curing action means your tyres are ready to use almost immediately after assembly.
  • How long does the glue take to cure? — This cyanoacrylate adhesive cures in seconds, providing instant bonding. This rapid curing is one of the key advantages over traditional epoxy or wood glues, which require extended curing times and are therefore impractical for field repairs or quick assembly work on your RC car or other models.
  • Will this glue work on rubber tyres? — Absolutely. The super thin CA formulation is specifically designed to bond rubber to plastic and metal substrates, which is exactly what happens when you glue RC tyres — rubber compound — to plastic or metal rims. It's one of the primary applications this product was created for.
  • Can I use this glue for other RC modelling tasks beyond tyre assembly? — Yes, this adhesive works effectively on rubber, plastics, metal, balsa wood, leather, ceramics, stone, glass and paper. This makes it suitable for numerous RC modelling applications including bodyshell repairs, interior details, decal mounting, and any other precision bonding task where you need a thin formulation that won't create messy overflow.
  • What's the difference between the thin, medium and thick formulations? — Logic RC offers three CA viscosity options: thin (S-G11/20), medium (S-G12/20), and thick. The thin formulation flows easily and works best for precise applications and non-porous surfaces where you want minimal excess glue. Medium formulation offers a balance of flow and gap-filling capability. Thick formulation is better for porous materials and applications where you need the glue to stay where you put it. For tyre gluing, thin is typically preferred.
  • Is this suitable for beginners? — Yes, absolutely. Cyanoacrylate glues are amongst the easiest adhesives to use because they require no mixing, no special equipment, and no extended curing times. Even complete beginners can successfully apply this glue to bond RC tyres or perform other assembly tasks. The only precaution is to keep the bottle cap tightly sealed between uses to prevent the glue from curing inside the bottle.
  • How should I store this adhesive? — Store the bottle in a cool, dry place with the cap tightly sealed. Cyanoacrylate glues are moisture-sensitive and will cure in the presence of humidity, so keeping the cap sealed is essential to maintain product shelf life and performance. Some modellers store their CA glues in airtight containers or small bags to provide extra protection.
  • Can I remove dried CA glue if I make a mistake? — Yes, Logic RC manufactures a dedicated De-Bonder product (S-G08/20) that dissolves cured cyanoacrylate adhesive, allowing you to separate bonded parts or remove excess glue. This is invaluable if you accidentally glue components together incorrectly or if adhesive overflows onto areas you didn't intend.
  • What's the shelf life of this product? — Properly stored in a sealed container away from moisture, cyanoacrylate adhesives typically maintain their performance for 12-24 months. After that period, the product may become less effective or may have partially cured even in the sealed bottle. Always check that your glue flows smoothly before use on important RC projects.
