Overview
The eTronix Pulse 4Ch 2.4GHz Antennaless Receiver is an essential component for RC enthusiasts looking to upgrade or expand their radio control systems. This compact receiver delivers reliable four-channel control operation on the widely-used 2.4GHz frequency band, making it a versatile choice for RC car UK builders and modellers. Whether you're setting up a new RC vehicle, replacing a damaged receiver, or building a dedicated control system for your RC collection, this antennaless receiver offers straightforward compatibility with 2.4GHz transmitter systems across the hobby.
Supplied under part number ET1096 and also referenced by the manufacturer as ET1061 within the Etronix Pulse range, this receiver combines practical engineering with ease of integration. The antenna-free design eliminates the need for external antenna management, reducing potential breakage points and simplifying installation in tight chassis spaces. This makes it an ideal solution for hobbyists who want a clean, professional setup without the complications of antenna routing and protection.
As a standalone receiver component, the eTronix Pulse 4Ch unit pairs seamlessly with compatible 2.4GHz Etronix Pulse transmitters and other authorised 2.4GHz radio systems. RC modellers across the UK trust this receiver for its reliability and straightforward operation, whether they're casual weekend bashers or more serious hobbyists building multiple vehicles in their collection.
Key Features
- 4-Channel Radio Control — This receiver provides four channels of independent control, giving you complete command over essential vehicle functions such as steering, throttle, and auxiliary functions, providing the control precision needed for most RC car applications.
- 2.4GHz Operation — Operating on the 2.4GHz frequency band ensures your receiver works with modern, interference-resistant radio systems that are standard across the RC hobby worldwide and throughout the UK market.
- Antennaless Design — The integrated antenna eliminates the need for external antenna components, reducing potential points of failure, lowering wind resistance effects, and simplifying installation in compact chassis designs where space is limited.
- Etronix Pulse Compatibility — As part of the recognised Etronix Pulse range, this receiver integrates seamlessly with Etronix Pulse transmitters and other compatible 2.4GHz radio systems for straightforward setup and binding.
- Compact Form Factor — The receiver's small size makes it ideal for installation in tight spaces, whether you're upgrading an existing RC car or building a new custom setup where chassis real estate is at a premium.
Technical Performance
The eTronix Pulse 4Ch 2.4GHz Antennaless Receiver represents practical engineering designed for the UK RC modelling community. This receiver operates on the globally standardised 2.4GHz frequency band, which provides superior interference resistance compared to older frequency systems and allows modern RC systems to coexist peacefully with other wireless devices in home, garden, and track environments. The four-channel architecture delivers the control inputs necessary for most standard RC car applications, including steering servo control, throttle management, and auxiliary functions. The antennaless design integrates the antenna directly into the receiver housing, eliminating the external antenna component that can be prone to damage during transport or operation. This engineering approach also reduces electromagnetic noise and provides more stable signal reception in various operating conditions. The receiver's compact dimensions allow integration into tight chassis spaces without requiring significant modification to your RC car's internal layout. Compatibility with the Etronix Pulse transmitter family and other authorised 2.4GHz systems ensures you have flexibility in your radio setup, allowing you to use the same receiver across multiple vehicles or to integrate it into existing multi-car collections.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What transmitter does this receiver work with? — The eTronix Pulse 4Ch receiver is designed for use with compatible 2.4GHz radio systems. It is supplied as part of the Etronix Pulse range and works with the Etronix Pulse EXP4 Sport 4Channel 2.4GHz transmitter (ET1061). For compatibility with other transmitter brands, you should consult your specific transmitter documentation for setup and binding guidance to ensure proper integration.
- Can I use this receiver in multiple RC cars? — Yes. Once bound to a transmitter, this receiver can be moved between different RC car chassis, making it a flexible component for builders who maintain multiple vehicles in their collection. Simply ensure your new chassis has appropriate space and connections for the receiver installation.
- What does antennaless mean? — An antennaless design means the antenna is integrated directly into the receiver housing rather than being a separate external component. This eliminates the risk of antenna damage, reduces complexity during installation, and allows for cleaner integration into compact chassis designs where space is limited.
- Is this suitable for beginners? — This receiver is a component product rather than a complete ready-to-run system, so it's best suited to modellers who already have experience with RC systems or who are building custom vehicles. Beginners are typically better served by complete ready-to-run RC car kits that include receivers, transmitters, and all necessary components pre-assembled and pre-bound.
- What channels does this receiver support? — This is a 4-channel receiver, providing control for four independent functions. This covers the core requirements for most RC car applications including steering, throttle/brake, and two auxiliary channels for additional functions depending on your specific setup.
- How do I bind this receiver to my transmitter? — Binding procedures vary by transmitter model. You should consult the manual for your specific Etronix Pulse transmitter or compatible 2.4GHz radio system for detailed binding and failsafe setting instructions. The ET1061 manual for the compatible transmitter includes failsafe setting guidance.
