Introduction
The E-flite® UMX™ Turbo Timber Evolution is a scaled-down ultra-micro version of the extremely popular Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m! It's also an updated and upgraded version of the best-selling UMX Turbo Timber that features a reinforced airframe and stronger linkages to handle the added power, performance, and capability the new 2S and 3S compatible power system delivers. It's equipped with LED landing, navigation, and strobe lights, delivers real-time battery voltage and other telemetry to compatible transmitters, plus it can be equipped with the optional UMX floats (sold separately). And because of its ultra-micro size, the UMX Turbo Timber Evolution can be flown outdoors in many yards, parks, and sports fields – or even indoors in gymnasiums and other suitable spaces! It's affordable, convenient, capable – and easy to fly – which makes it a great choice for a wide range of pilots interested in a flying experience they can't get with any other model.

Overview
For low-time to experienced pilots interested in an ultra-micro sized version of the incredibly popular Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m, the E-flite® UMX™ Turbo Timber Evolution is an easy-to-fly, smooth handling, STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) capable airplane with unmatched fly-anywhere versatility! It's also an updated and upgraded version of the UMX Turbo Timber that now features a 2S and 3S compatible power system for added power and capability — especially when using popular and affordable 3S 300mAh batteries for unlimited vertical performance! Plus it can perform inverted flight, knife edge, snaps, spins and other advanced aerobatic maneuvers with ease. Functional oversized flaps, along with the optional-use leading-edge slats, offer improved STOL and slow flight performance. Equipped with oversized tundra-style tires like its predecessor, the UMX Turbo Timber Evolution can take off and land on grass and other rough surfaces due to the landing gear design that secures the fairings to the fuselage. Experienced pilots can fly it indoors in spaces as small as a single basketball court, and almost anyone who's mastered flying at least one other airplane before can fly it successfully outdoors in large gardens, small parks, sports fields, at RC flying fields and almost anywhere else! Install the optional floats (sold separately) and you can add large pools, small ponds, and lakes to your flying site options. Included LED landing, navigation and simulated strobe lights add to the fun and make it possible to fly from earlier to even later in the day. Bind-N-Fly Completion Level Advantage
Already own a Spektrum™ transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make getting into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible easier than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any final assembly and fly!
This Bind-N-Fly Basic model is equipped with a Spektrum 2.4GHz DSMX® receiver featuring AS3X® (Artificial Stabilization-3-aXis) technology that works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence so you enjoy a sense of stability and precision that makes it feel like you're flying a much larger, expertly tuned aircraft.
If this is your first model of its type, or you want an extra margin of safety while familiarizing yourself with the airplane, you can enable the optional-use SAFE® Select flight envelope protection technology built into the receiver. No programming is required.
With SAFE Select enabled, you get:
Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
- These envelope limits keep the airplane from rolling or pitching upside down. They also prevent excessive climb or dive angles.
Automatic Self-Leveling
- The airplane instantly returns to and holds level flight when the sticks are released and in the center position. It's also helpful for keeping the wings level during takeoffs/launches and landings.
Easy Switch Assignment-No Complex Programming Required
- The simple procedure for assigning a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select features on and off doesn't require any complex programming and takes just a few seconds. For UMX models like this one, SAFE Select is automatically assigned to channel 5 (Gear) so you can turn it on and off with any switch assigned to that channel (switch A by default on most Spektrum computer transmitters).

We want to make sure your delivery goes smoothly, so here are some important details about our service:
- For orders above £120, we offer delivery to most mainland UK addresses. For orders under £120, we can still deliver to Northern Ireland and the outlying isles, as long as the item can be sent by Royal Mail, weighs less than 30kg, and fits within 61cm × 46cm × 46cm. Some highland and remote areas may carry an extra delivery charge as couriers often apply surcharges in these locations. If you live in one of these areas, feel free to contact us before ordering so we can confirm the delivery options and costs for you.
- Most of our products include delivery in the price. If your order is under £90, a small delivery fee will apply but do not worry this will always be clearly shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
- Depending on what you choose at checkout, your order will usually be delivered either the next working day or within 2 working days. For next day delivery please place your order before 2:00pm. Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday only. Some items may take a little longer and if that is the case we will always show the expected delivery time on the product page.
- If your order includes items with different dispatch times we will normally wait and send everything together once all items are in stock. If one of the items is going to take a while we will give you the choice either wait for everything to arrive or let us send the available items now and deliver the rest later. It is up to you.
- We use trusted delivery partners to make sure your order gets to you safely and on time. We use DPD for next working day deliveries and Royal Mail for the 2 day option.
- As soon as your order is on its way we will send you a tracking number by email. If you provide your mobile number at checkout we will also send delivery updates straight to your phone so you can keep an eye on progress.
- If a product is marked as "Dispatched within 3 working days" delivery usually takes around 3 to 5 working days from when your order is placed.
- For customers in Inverness and other parts of the Scottish Highlands deliveries can take up to 2 working days even if you select next day delivery as couriers do not currently offer a guaranteed next day service to those areas.
