Overview
The Corally Attack Foam Tyres 1/10 GP Touring 35 Shore 30mm Rear Carbon Rims are purpose-built racing tyres designed for competitive 1/10 scale touring car enthusiasts across the UK. These premium foam tyres represent the cutting edge of RC tyre technology, manufactured in Italy by Team Corally with meticulous attention to detail and performance. Whether you're competing in club championships or practising at your local RC track, these Attack foam tyres deliver the grip and consistency that separates winners from the rest of the field.
Foam tyres are the choice of serious RC car racers because they provide superior grip and responsiveness compared to rubber alternatives, particularly on indoor carpet and smooth asphalt surfaces. The Attack range has earned its reputation for offering excellent grip under various track conditions whilst maintaining exceptionally low tyre wear, meaning your investment lasts longer and performs more consistently throughout a racing season. Pre-mounted on lightweight carbon rims with 12mm hex adapters, these tyres arrive ready to bolt straight onto your 1/10 touring car, saving you the hassle and expense of separate rim purchases.
If you're serious about RC racing in the UK and want to upgrade your touring car with competition-grade tyres that will genuinely improve your lap times and consistency, the Corally Attack Foam Tyres are an excellent choice that delivers measurable performance benefits on track.
Key Features
- Italian Manufacturing Excellence — These tyres are made in Italy, a country renowned for precision engineering and quality control in the RC industry, ensuring consistent performance and durability across every set you purchase.
- 35 Shore Hardness Foam Compound — The 35 shore hardness represents a competition-grade foam compound that balances grip with durability, performing well across different track conditions and temperatures whilst resisting excessive wear during intense racing sessions.
- Pre-Mounted on Carbon Rims — Rather than purchasing tyres and rims separately, these arrive factory-glued to lightweight carbon rims, eliminating assembly time and ensuring perfect mounting from day one, which means you can get on track faster and with confidence that the glue job is done to factory standards.
- Low Tyre Wear Design — The Attack tyre compound and profile are specifically engineered to minimise wear during racing, extending the life of each set and providing consistent performance throughout multiple race meetings before replacement becomes necessary.
- Excellent Grip in Various Conditions — These foam tyres excel across different track conditions, delivering reliable traction whether you're racing on indoor carpet, outdoor asphalt, or transitional surfaces, making them a versatile choice for touring car racing.
- 12mm Hex Adapter Standard — The rims feature industry-standard 12mm hex adapters that fit virtually all 1/10 touring car designs, ensuring compatibility with your existing vehicle platform whether you run Traxxas, Tamiya, Team Associated or other 1/10 touring chassis.
- Zero Offset Design — The rims feature zero offset geometry, which is the standard specification for 1/10 GP touring cars, ensuring proper handling characteristics and suspension geometry without requiring additional spacers or modifications.
- 30mm Width Rear Specification — The 30mm rear tyre width is the standard dimension for 1/10 touring car racing, providing the optimal balance of mechanical grip, traction and cornering performance that the category demands.
Technical Performance
The Corally Attack Foam Tyres deliver competition-grade performance through intelligent engineering of the foam compound and profile geometry. The 35 shore hardness designation indicates a mid-range foam compound that balances grip with durability — softer compounds provide more grip but wear quickly, whilst harder compounds last longer but sacrifice traction. This 35 shore specification represents the sweet spot for serious racers who want both performance and consistency across multiple race meetings. The 66mm overall diameter combined with the 30mm width creates the correct mechanical grip characteristics and rolling resistance for 1/10 GP touring cars, contributing to accurate lap time consistency and predictable handling through corners. The carbon rim construction provides minimal weight and maximum rigidity, ensuring the tyre profile remains consistent throughout a race rather than flexing under cornering forces like heavier aluminium rims would. The pre-glued assembly means the tyres are mounted to factory standards, eliminating potential issues from amateur gluing such as uneven adhesion, air bubbles, or improper pressure that can compromise handling and create unpredictable tyre behaviour on track. Built to the demanding standards of competitive RC racing, these tyres will perform reliably and consistently, allowing you to focus on racecraft rather than worrying about tyre degradation or grip loss.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are Corally Attack foam tyres suitable for 1/10 touring car racing in the UK? — Yes, absolutely. These tyres are specifically engineered for 1/10 GP touring cars and are competition-grade equipment used by serious racers at clubs throughout the UK. The 35 shore hardness is an excellent choice for racing on both indoor carpet and outdoor asphalt surfaces commonly found at UK RC tracks.
- What does the 35 shore hardness mean and is it right for my track? — Shore hardness indicates foam tyre softness; 35 shore is a mid-range compound that balances grip with durability. It performs well across various track conditions, making it versatile for most UK RC racing venues. Softer compounds (lower numbers) offer more grip but wear faster, whilst harder compounds (higher numbers) last longer but provide less traction.
- Will these tyres fit my 1/10 touring car? — These 30mm rear tyres with 12mm hex adapters are designed for standard 1/10 GP touring cars. They will fit Traxxas TT models, Tamiya TT02 and TT02B chassis, Team Associated RC10 GT, and virtually any 1/10 touring platform, as the 12mm hex is the industry standard.
- What is the advantage of pre-glued tyres rather than separate rims and tyres? — Pre-glued tyres eliminate the time and skill required to glue foam tyres to rims, which is a tricky process requiring special foam-safe glues, proper curing time, and technique to avoid air bubbles or uneven adhesion. Factory-glued tyres arrive ready to use with professional quality mounting, meaning instant performance with zero assembly concerns.
- How long will these tyres last before needing replacement? — Foam tyres are consumable items that gradually wear during racing. The Attack compound is specifically engineered for low wear, extending lifespan compared to standard foam tyres. Longevity depends on track type, racing intensity and ambient temperature, but you should expect several race meetings before significant wear becomes apparent.
- Are these tyres suitable for beginners? — Foam tyres and racing-grade equipment are better suited to intermediate and advanced racers rather than beginners, as they perform optimally with proper driving technique and track knowledge. Beginners may find rubber tyres more forgiving. However, if you're committed to touring car racing and want to develop your skills properly, these tyres are an excellent investment.
- Can I use these on front and rear of my touring car? — These are specified as rear tyres for 1/10 GP touring cars. Touring cars typically use different tyre compounds front and rear to balance handling; you would need separate front tyres designed for 1/10 touring cars. Using rear-specific tyres on the front would create unbalanced handling.
- What is the difference between Corally Attack and other foam tyre brands? — The Corally Attack range is manufactured in Italy to premium standards with a reputation for consistency and performance. The 35 shore compound, low wear characteristics, and carbon rim specification represent a balance between grip and durability that appeals to serious racers seeking equipment that performs consistently across multiple meetings.
