Suspension tuning is one of the most effective ways to unlock the true potential of your RC car UK setup. By adjusting spring rates, you can improve traction, handling characteristics, and overall stability. The Pro-Line PowerStroke Shocks Front Spring Assortment delivers this capability with a comprehensive selection of springs that work together to create multiple tuning options. This is the kind of upgrade that separates amateur setups from optimised, performance-focused builds. If you're running ARRMA vehicles and want to take your RC experience to the next level, this spring pack is the perfect investment.

Pro-Line Racing is renowned for engineering high-quality aftermarket components that deliver real performance gains. This spring assortment reflects that commitment to excellence, providing genuine tuning flexibility rather than gimmicky modifications. With springs colour-coded for easy identification and organised into upper and lower rate options, this pack makes it straightforward to experiment with different combinations until you find your perfect setup.

Key Features

  • Dual-Rate Spring System — The assortment includes three different upper spring rates and three different lower spring rates, which when combined create nine different spring rate options total. This unprecedented level of customisation means you can tailor your suspension stiffness precisely to your driving conditions, whether you need a softer setup for smooth surfaces or a stiffer configuration for rough terrain.
  • Nine Possible Spring Combinations — By mixing and matching the different upper and lower rates, you gain access to nine distinct suspension configurations. This flexibility allows you to dial in the ideal balance between comfort and performance without needing to purchase multiple shock setups, making it a cost-effective tuning solution.
  • Colour-Coded for Easy Identification — Each spring rate is colour-coded (green, yellow stock, and red) to make it simple to track which springs you're using and to quickly swap between different combinations during testing and racing sessions. This organisation system saves time and reduces confusion when adjusting your suspension.
  • Designed for Pro-Line PowerStroke Shocks — These springs are engineered specifically for the PL6359-00 PowerStroke Front Shocks, ensuring perfect fitment and performance. They're not generic springs; they're precision components developed to work seamlessly with this particular shock system.
  • Compatible with ARRMA 3S and 4S Vehicles — Whether you're running an ARRMA 3S or 4S scale RC vehicle, these springs will work with your setup. This broad compatibility makes the assortment useful across multiple models in your RC car collection.
  • Professional-Grade Tuning — This is the type of suspension component used by competitive RC racers and serious hobbyists. By choosing this assortment, you're gaining access to the same tuning tools that professionals use to optimise their vehicles for competition.

Technical Performance

The Pro-Line PowerStroke Shocks Front Spring Assortment represents the pinnacle of suspension customisation for ARRMA 3S and 4S RC vehicles. The engineering behind this product reflects Pro-Line's deep understanding of suspension dynamics and how spring rates directly influence vehicle handling. Each spring in the assortment is manufactured to precise specifications to ensure consistent performance and reliability. The upper springs range from 7.0 lbs./in. (green) through the stock 9.0 lbs./in. (yellow) to 11.0 lbs./in. (red), giving you a three-step progression in upper suspension stiffness. The lower springs follow a similar pattern, ranging from 5.5 lbs./in. (green) to the stock 7.0 lbs./in. (yellow) and up to 8.5 lbs./in. (red). This carefully selected range ensures that every combination you choose will deliver usable handling characteristics. Softer springs improve ride comfort and traction on smooth surfaces, whilst stiffer springs enhance stability and control on bumpy terrain. The build quality is consistent with Pro-Line's reputation for manufacturing durable, high-performance RC components that withstand the demands of serious racing and bashing.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the difference between upper and lower spring rates? — Upper springs support the weight of your vehicle and control how much the chassis compresses under acceleration. Lower springs (also called bump springs) prevent the shocks from bottoming out and control the rebound action. By adjusting both, you can fine-tune both the initial suspension feel and how the shocks respond to impacts.
  • Will these springs work with my ARRMA vehicle? — These springs are specifically designed for the PL6359-00 Pro-Line PowerStroke Front Shocks and are compatible with ARRMA 3S and 4S vehicles that use these shocks. If you're unsure whether your vehicle uses this shock model, we recommend checking your vehicle's specification sheet or contacting our team at RC Model Shop for confirmation.
  • How many different setups can I create with this assortment? — You can create nine different spring rate combinations by mixing the three upper spring rates with the three lower spring rates. This means you have genuine flexibility to experiment and find the setup that works best for your driving style and local track conditions.
  • What spring rates should I use for racing versus bashing? — For competitive racing on smooth tracks, you may prefer stiffer springs (red upper and lower) for sharper handling response. For bashing on rough terrain, softer springs (green upper and lower) provide better traction and comfort. Most drivers find that the stock yellow springs offer a good all-round balance as a starting point.
  • Is this suitable for beginners? — While these springs are high-quality components, suspension tuning is typically pursued by experienced RC enthusiasts who understand how spring rates affect handling. Beginners should first master basic RC car control with stock setups before experimenting with suspension tuning. However, once you're ready to optimise your vehicle, this assortment is an excellent investment.
  • How do I know which spring combination is best for my conditions? — The best approach is to start with the stock yellow springs (both upper and lower) as your baseline. Then, systematically test each combination on your typical driving surface. Softer springs (green) improve traction and comfort; stiffer springs (red) improve stability and responsiveness. Track your tests and note which combinations feel best.
