Key Features
- Toughest A-arms on the market — RPM Rear A-arms are engineered and manufactured to be stronger and more durable than any competing suspension arms, meaning you can bash harder and race more aggressively without worrying about catastrophic suspension failure during your sessions.
- Made in the USA with premium engineering — Designed with unmatched performance standards, these rear A-arms benefit from American manufacturing expertise and quality control that ensures every set meets strict specifications for consistency and reliability.
- Exceptionally lightweight construction — By reducing unsprung weight at the rear suspension, these A-arms improve handling responsiveness, acceleration, and overall agility of your Rival MT10, giving you a competitive advantage on the track or trail.
- Extreme durability for extended service life — Unlike stock suspension arms, RPM components are built to withstand the punishment of serious RC driving, meaning your investment will last longer and require fewer replacement cycles than OEM parts.

Technical Performance
The RPM Rear A-arms for the Associated Rival MT10 represent a significant engineering advancement in suspension component design for this popular platform. These arms are manufactured using materials specifically selected for their strength-to-weight ratio, ensuring that you gain structural integrity without adding unnecessary mass to the rear suspension geometry. The design incorporates reinforcing provisions throughout the arm structure, which provide exceptional resistance to the bending, twisting, and impact forces that occur during aggressive RC driving. Whether you're running high-speed bashing sessions, competitive track racing, or exploring challenging off-road terrain, these rear A-arms provide the structural foundation your Rival MT10 needs to perform at its absolute best. The engineering philosophy behind RPM components emphasises real-world durability testing, meaning these arms have been validated under the harsh conditions that actual RC drivers subject their vehicles to, rather than merely meeting theoretical stress calculations. By upgrading to RPM Rear A-arms, you're investing in suspension geometry that will maintain its integrity through countless hours of driving enjoyment, whether you're running on tarmac, dirt, grass, or mixed terrain.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are RPM Rear A-arms for the Associated Rival MT10 a direct replacement for stock arms? — Yes, RPM #72182 replaces the rear A-arms from stock Associated #25804 Rival MT10 perfectly. However, please note that due to strengthening provisions, the upper axle carrier hinge pin hole is not compatible with these RPM arms—only the lower stock location hinge pin hole can be used for installation.
- Why would I upgrade from stock Associated A-arms to RPM components? — Stock A-arms are designed as a compromise between cost and basic functionality, but they lack the durability needed for serious RC driving. RPM Rear A-arms are engineered specifically for strength and longevity, using materials and design principles that make them the toughest A-arms available. If you've experienced A-arm failures, or if you want to drive with confidence knowing your suspension won't let you down, RPM components are the upgrade that serious enthusiasts choose.
- Can I just upgrade the rear A-arms, or do I need to upgrade the front as well? — You can upgrade just the rear, but many drivers choose to upgrade both front and rear for a complete suspension overhaul. RPM Front A-arms (RPM #72062) are available separately and offer the same exceptional durability and lightweight construction as the rear arms, providing a perfectly matched suspension system when used together.
- Will upgrading to RPM A-arms make my Rival MT10 faster? — Whilst the A-arms themselves don't directly increase top speed, the improved durability means you can run more aggressive driving settings without risking suspension failure. Additionally, the lighter weight of RPM components compared to reinforced stock arms can improve handling responsiveness and acceleration slightly, though the primary benefit is durability and reliability rather than outright speed.
- How difficult is installation of RPM Rear A-arms? — Installation is straightforward as these are direct replacements that bolt into the existing stock locations. If you're comfortable performing basic RC car maintenance and have standard RC tools, you should be able to install these arms yourself. Always follow the manufacturer's installation guide for specific torque specifications and procedures.
- Are these suitable for beginners? — Whilst anyone can install RPM A-arms, they're particularly valuable for drivers who push their vehicles hard. Beginners benefit from the increased durability and reliability, reducing the chance of unexpected failures that might otherwise frustrate new RC enthusiasts. If you're just starting out with RC cars, upgrading suspension components early is a smart investment that will give you more reliable driving sessions.
- What makes RPM A-arms better than other aftermarket options? — RPM has built its reputation on engineering and manufacturing components that withstand real-world punishment. These arms are the toughest available because they're designed with materials and construction methods proven through extensive testing. Unlike some aftermarket options that prioritise aesthetics, RPM focuses entirely on performance and durability, making them the choice of professional drivers and serious enthusiasts.
