This high-quality aluminium servo arm is an essential upgrade for anyone serious about improving their RC car's steering response and reliability. Whether you're a dedicated racer pushing your 1/10 scale RC buggy to the limit, or a weekend basher looking to enhance your RC car UK setup, this servo arm delivers the durability and precision that matters when every steering input counts.
Manufactured by Losi, a globally recognised leader in RC vehicle engineering and components, this servo arm combines lightweight aluminium construction with robust design principles. It's engineered to work seamlessly with 23-tooth servo splines, making it compatible with a range of standard RC servo systems including Sanwa servo options. The fixed servo saver configuration means this arm is ideal for drivers who prefer direct, responsive steering without the compliance of a servo saver, or for setups where a fixed connection is the preferred engineering choice.
As an RC car UK enthusiast, you'll appreciate that this is genuine Losi product, built to exacting standards and designed to work flawlessly with your existing KO Air JR platform. The aluminium construction provides an excellent balance between weight savings and structural integrity, helping to maintain responsive steering inputs without unnecessary mass. Available now at RC Model Shop, this servo arm is a direct replacement or upgrade component that will transform your RC vehicle's steering performance.
Key Features
- Aluminium Construction — Manufactured from lightweight yet durable aluminium alloy, this servo arm reduces unsprung weight in your RC car's steering system whilst maintaining the structural rigidity needed for precise control during high-speed manoeuvres and aggressive cornering.
- 23-Tooth Servo Spline Fitment — Designed specifically to fit 23-tooth servo splines, this servo horn is compatible with a wide range of standard RC servo motors, including popular Sanwa servo units used throughout the RC hobby community.
- Fixed Configuration — This servo arm features a fixed mounting design rather than a servo saver configuration, delivering direct steering response without any give or compliance in the drivetrain, perfect for drivers who demand immediate feedback from their steering inputs.
- Losi Brand Quality — As an official Losi component, this servo arm meets the same engineering standards as OEM Losi parts, ensuring perfect fitment and long-term reliability when used on KO Air JR and compatible RC platforms.
- Direct Replacement Part — Whether you're replacing a worn or damaged servo arm or upgrading from a standard plastic horn, this aluminium option is a straightforward bolt-in replacement that requires no modification to your existing RC car setup.
Technical Performance
The Losi KO Air JR Aluminium Servo Arm represents a significant upgrade in steering system performance and longevity. Built from high-grade aluminium alloy, this component offers superior durability compared to standard plastic servo horns, resisting bending and cracking even during intense RC racing sessions or aggressive bashing. The 23-tooth spline design ensures a secure, wobble-free connection to compatible servo motors, maintaining steering accuracy lap after lap. The fixed configuration eliminates any potential play or movement in the servo saver mechanism, translating every input from your RC radio transmitter directly into steering action on your RC car. This direct connection is particularly valued by competitive racers and serious enthusiasts who demand the most responsive steering feel. The lightweight aluminium construction helps minimise unsprung weight in your RC vehicle's front end, contributing to improved handling characteristics and quicker steering response times. Whether you're running a brushless 1/10 scale buggy or exploring the competitive world of RC racing in the UK, this servo arm delivers the precision and reliability that separates good RC cars from great ones. The engineering quality reflects Losi's reputation as a manufacturer of professional-grade RC components, making this an investment in your RC car's long-term performance.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What RC cars is this Losi servo arm compatible with? — This servo arm is designed for the Losi KO Air JR platform and any other RC vehicles that use 23-tooth servo splines. It is compatible with standard RC servo motors from manufacturers such as Sanwa, making it a versatile upgrade for many 1/10 scale RC buggies and similar platforms. Check your vehicle's servo specifications to confirm 23-tooth spline fitment before ordering.
- Is this servo arm suitable for beginners? — Yes, this component is suitable for RC enthusiasts of all skill levels. Beginners will benefit from the improved durability and steering response compared to standard plastic servo arms, whilst experienced racers will appreciate the precision and reliability that this aluminium component provides. Installation is straightforward, requiring only basic tools and mechanical knowledge.
- What is the difference between this fixed servo arm and a servo saver design? — The fixed configuration on this servo arm means it connects directly to your servo motor without any compliance or give. This provides immediate, responsive steering feedback and is preferred by racers who want direct control over their RC car's direction changes. A servo saver would allow some movement to protect the servo during impacts, making it better suited for aggressive bashing. Choose fixed configuration if you prioritise steering response; choose a servo saver if you want servo protection.
- Will this work on my existing Losi RC car? — This servo arm is engineered specifically for Losi KO Air JR platforms. If your RC car uses a 23-tooth servo spline, it should be compatible. Confirm your servo horn spline count (usually printed on the component or listed in your RC car's manual) before purchasing to ensure proper fitment.
- What servo motor do I need for this servo arm? — Any standard RC servo motor with a 23-tooth spline output shaft will work with this servo arm. Popular choices include Sanwa servo units and other mainstream RC servo brands. The servo arm itself is passive and works with any compatible servo; your choice of servo motor will determine torque, speed, and overall steering performance.
