Frequently Asked Questions

  • What helicopters are these control balls compatible with? — These genuine Blade control balls are designed for use with the Blade B450 X, 330X, and 330S helicopter models. Always verify the model number of your helicopter before purchasing to ensure compatibility with your specific aircraft.
  • Why would I need replacement control balls for my RC helicopter? — Control balls are wear components that can become loose or damaged through normal use of your FBL rotor system. If you notice sloppy cyclic control, uneven blade tracking, or loose movement in your rotor head, worn control balls may be the culprit. Replacing them restores tight, responsive control characteristics.
  • Are these genuine Blade parts? — Yes, these are manufactured by Blade, the same company that produces your helicopter. Using genuine replacement parts ensures perfect compatibility and maintains the performance standards Blade engineered into your aircraft. Counterfeit or inferior quality control balls can negatively impact handling and safety.
  • Do I need any special tools to install these control balls? — Installation requirements depend on your specific helicopter model and rotor head design. Refer to your aircraft's instruction manual for detailed installation procedures, or consult with your local RC hobby retailer for guidance on the installation process.
  • How often should I replace my control balls? — Control ball lifespan depends on flight frequency and intensity. Inspect them regularly during maintenance checks. If you notice excessive wear, looseness, or degraded control response, it's time to replace them. Many experienced pilots keep spare sets on hand to minimise downtime.
  • Can I use this as a beginner RC helicopter owner? — Yes, these control balls are essential spare parts for any Blade helicopter owner regardless of experience level. Proper maintenance of wear components is part of responsible helicopter operation, and having replacement parts available ensures your aircraft stays flying safely.
