Overview

The BLH Vertical Fin in Orange for the Blade 230 S V2 is an essential replacement component for pilots who want to keep their RC helicopter in pristine flying condition. Whether you're a seasoned RC enthusiast operating in the UK or a dedicated hobbyist who regularly flies your Blade 230 S V2, having genuine spare parts on hand is crucial for minimising downtime and maintaining peak performance. This vertical fin serves as a critical aerodynamic component that helps stabilise your helicopter during flight, and it's manufactured to the exact specifications required by the Blade 230 S V2 platform.

RC helicopters demand precision engineering and properly functioning components to deliver the responsive handling and stable flight characteristics that pilots expect. The vertical fin, also known as the vertical tail fin, plays an important role in the tail boom assembly by providing directional stability and helping to counteract any unwanted yaw movements during flight. When your helicopter experiences a crash, tip-over, or rough landing, the vertical fin is often one of the first components to sustain damage. By keeping this genuine Blade part in your spares box, you're investing in quick repairs and maintaining the helicopter's authentic performance characteristics.

RC Model Shop stocks the complete range of Blade 230 S V2 spares and upgrades, making it easy to source everything you need for crash-repair essentials and precision restoration. From main rotor blades to tail components, landing gear, canopies, and electronic upgrades, our comprehensive inventory ensures you can get back in the air sooner rather than later.

Key Features

  • Genuine Blade Component — This vertical fin is a manufacturer-approved replacement part specifically designed for the Blade 230 S V2 helicopter, ensuring perfect fitment and authentic aerodynamic performance without compromise.
  • Orange Colour — The distinctive orange finish matches the standard colour scheme of many Blade 230 S V2 configurations, allowing you to maintain a cohesive and professional appearance across your aircraft.
  • Critical Aerodynamic Function — The vertical fin provides essential directional stability during flight, helping to maintain precise heading control and reducing unwanted yaw movements that could affect your flying experience.
  • Durable Construction — Built to withstand the operational stresses of regular RC helicopter flight, this component is engineered to maintain its structural integrity through multiple flights and normal wear and tear.
  • Essential Crash-Repair Component — As one of the most commonly damaged parts following a tip-over or rough landing, having a spare vertical fin ensures you can perform field repairs and get airborne again quickly without waiting for replacements.
  • Compatible Exclusively with Blade 230 S V2 — This part is specifically designed for the V2 version of the Blade 230 S, ensuring that you receive the correct component for your helicopter model and avoiding compatibility issues with earlier variants or Smart versions.

Technical Performance

The Blade Vertical Fin Orange for the 230 S V2 represents the standard engineering quality that has made Blade RC helicopters trusted favourites among UK RC pilots and international enthusiasts. As a precision replacement component within the tail boom assembly, this vertical fin must maintain exact dimensional tolerances to ensure proper aerodynamic function and seamless integration with the helicopter's control systems. The component is manufactured from materials selected for their combination of strength and lightweight characteristics, allowing the helicopter to maintain optimal flight dynamics whilst providing the structural durability needed for reliable operation. The vertical fin works in conjunction with the tail rotor and motor mount to deliver the directional stability that makes the Blade 230 S V2 such a responsive and controllable platform for both recreational flying and more demanding manoeuvres. Whether you're flying indoors in a gymnasium or outdoors in open spaces, this component supports the helicopter's ability to maintain stable heading control and respond precisely to your transmitter inputs. The engineering behind this part reflects Blade's commitment to delivering components that preserve the helicopter's original performance characteristics, ensuring that repair doesn't compromise the flying experience you've come to expect from your aircraft.
