Overview
The Axial M2.5 x 8mm Flat Head Screws are essential replacement parts for RC enthusiasts maintaining their Axial RC models. Whether you're a dedicated RC car UK hobbyist or a competitive racer, having the correct spare fasteners on hand is crucial for keeping your RC vehicle in peak condition. These machine thread screws feature a countersunk flat head design, making them ideal for applications where a flush finish is required across your RC model's chassis and body components.
Designed specifically for Axial RC vehicles, these precision-engineered screws ensure compatibility and reliable performance. The pack includes 10 individual screws, providing you with enough replacements for multiple repairs or customisation projects. Whether you're rebuilding after an intense off-road bash session or fine-tuning your ready to run RC crawler, having genuine Axial fasteners ensures your model maintains its structural integrity and performance characteristics. These screws are particularly valuable for serious RC hobbyists who demand quality components and reliable support for their equipment.
RC model maintenance is an essential part of the hobby, and using the correct replacement parts makes all the difference. The Axial M2.5 x 8mm specification is widely used across the Axial product range, making these screws a practical addition to any RC enthusiast's spares box. From casual weekend bashers to competition-level drivers, proper maintenance with genuine parts extends the life of your RC investment and ensures consistent performance on every run.
Key Features
- M2.5 x 8mm Specification — This precise thread size and length designation ensures perfect fit and compatibility with designated Axial RC model components, eliminating the risk of loose fasteners or stripped threads that could compromise your vehicle's performance and safety.
- Countersunk Flat Head Design — The flat head profile sits flush with the surface of your RC model, providing a clean aesthetic finish whilst maintaining a low profile that won't interfere with moving parts or suspension components during operation.
- Machine Thread Construction — These screws feature traditional machine threads rather than self-tapping alternatives, allowing for secure fastening into pre-drilled holes with consistent torque and reliability throughout your RC vehicle's service life.
- Black Finish — The professional black colour coating matches the typical Axial colour scheme and provides corrosion resistance, helping your RC model maintain its appearance even after exposure to dust, dirt and moisture during off-road adventures.
- Hex Driver Type — The hexagonal socket design works with standard hex keys and drivers, making installation and removal straightforward without requiring specialist tools, and allowing for quick field adjustments during RC sessions.
- Pack of 10 — Each pack contains ten individual screws, providing multiple replacement options for your RC car UK collection and ensuring you're never caught short during maintenance or repairs.
- Genuine Axial Component — As an official Axial part, these screws are manufactured to the same exacting standards as the rest of your RC model, guaranteeing compatibility and performance with your Axial RBX10 Ryft or compatible vehicles.
Technical Performance
These Axial M2.5 x 8mm flat head screws represent precision engineering designed to exacting standards for RC vehicle applications. The M2.5 designation indicates a 2.5mm thread diameter, whilst the 8mm length provides sufficient engagement for secure fastening without excessive protrusion. The machine thread profile creates a strong mechanical bond when installed into properly prepared holes, distributing load evenly across the contact surface. The countersunk flat head design is particularly important in RC applications where aerodynamic efficiency and weight distribution matter; flush-mounted fasteners eliminate pressure points and maintain the intended weight balance of your ready to run RC model. The black finish provides both aesthetic continuity with Axial's design language and practical corrosion resistance, protecting the fastener from the moisture and salt exposure common in UK outdoor RC environments. The hex socket accommodates standard driver bits, allowing precise torque application during installation without risk of cam-out or damage to the fastener head. With a pack of ten screws, you have sufficient stock for complete chassis rebuilds, suspension adjustments, or incremental replacements across your RC vehicle collection. These fasteners are engineered to maintain their structural integrity through repeated assembly and disassembly cycles, essential for RC hobbyists who regularly maintain and tune their equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are these screws compatible with my Axial RC model? — These M2.5 x 8mm flat head screws are confirmed compatible with the Axial RBX10 Ryft 1/10 4WD RTR in both Orange and Black colour variants. They are designed as genuine Axial replacement parts, so they will fit any RC model that uses this specific screw size and specification. We recommend checking your model's manual or contacting our team if you're unsure about compatibility with your particular vehicle.
- What tools do I need to install these screws? — The hex socket head requires a standard hex key driver in the appropriate size. You'll need a small precision hex driver set, which is a basic essential tool for any RC hobbyist working on ready to run RC models. A torque wrench is beneficial for ensuring consistent fastening tension across your RC vehicle without over-tightening, which can strip threads or damage components.
- How many screws do I need for a complete rebuild? — This pack contains 10 screws, which should be sufficient for addressing multiple fastening points on your RC model. However, the exact number you'll need depends on your specific Axial model and which components you're rebuilding. We recommend keeping several packs on hand if you're an active RC car UK enthusiast who regularly performs maintenance and upgrades.
- What is the difference between flat head and other screw types? — Flat head screws (countersunk) sit flush with the surface when fully installed, creating a clean finish without protrusion, which is essential for RC applications where aerodynamics and clearance matter. Cap head and button head screws protrude above the surface, which can interfere with suspension movement or body fitment on a ready to run RC model. Axial designs their vehicles specifically around flat head fasteners for optimal performance and appearance.
- Are these genuine Axial parts? — Yes, these are genuine official Axial replacement components manufactured to the same quality standards as original factory parts. The part number Z-AXI235167 is the authentic Axial designation for this specific screw specification, and we supply them as an authorised Axial retailer.
- Can I use these screws for other RC brands? — Whilst the M2.5 x 8mm specification is relatively common across the RC industry, we specifically recommend these for Axial vehicles where they're engineered to fit. For compatibility with other RC brands, contact our knowledgeable team who can advise on suitable alternatives for your particular model.
