Overview
The Axial O-Ring 3.5x2mm (Z-AXA1202) is an essential replacement component for RC enthusiasts who run Axial shock systems. Whether you're a serious RC crawler UK competitor, a weekend basher, or someone rebuilding their prized RC vehicle, these genuine Axial o-rings are the perfect spare part to keep on hand. O-rings are critical sealing components in shock absorbers, and over time they can wear, tear, or degrade through exposure to dirt, dust, and regular use. Having a supply of quality replacement o-rings ensures your shock systems maintain proper fluid containment and consistent performance on the trail or track.
RC Model Shop stocks genuine Axial parts because we understand that serious RC hobbyists demand authentic, manufacturer-backed components. This pack contains 10 individual o-rings, giving you multiple replacement options so you're never left stranded with a leaking shock. Whether you operate 1/10 scale RC buggies, crawlers, or trail trucks, these universal o-rings are designed to work with Axial shock systems across their range of models. The 3.5x2mm size is a standard specification for many Axial shocks, making this a versatile spare part for any Axial RC vehicle UK owner.
Genuine Axial o-rings are manufactured with high quality rubber compounds specifically engineered to resist tearing and degradation. This matters because cheap, low-quality rubber can fail prematurely, leading to oil leaks, loss of shock damping, and ultimately, poor handling and ride quality on your RC model. By choosing genuine Axial components, you're investing in reliability and longevity for your RC setup.
Key Features
- Genuine Axial Manufacture — These o-rings are produced by Axial, the original equipment manufacturer, ensuring perfect compatibility and reliability with all Axial shock systems across their vehicle range.
- High Quality Rubber Compound — The o-rings are manufactured with premium rubber formulations that resist tearing, cracking, and degradation, even under demanding off-road conditions and repeated compression cycles.
- Pack of 10 Units — This generous pack gives you multiple replacement options, allowing you to service several shocks or keep spares for future maintenance without needing to reorder.
- Universal Compatibility — The 3.5x2mm size is a standard specification used across many Axial RC vehicles, from 1/10 scale crawlers and buggies to trail trucks and competition rigs.
- Essential Spare Part — O-rings are consumable items that eventually wear and fail, making this a practical, cost-effective part to keep in your RC hobby box for quick repairs and maintenance.
Technical Performance
The Axial O-Ring 3.5x2mm is engineered to exacting standards as an original Axial component. With dimensions of 3.5mm outer diameter and 2mm cross-section, this o-ring provides a precise seal in Axial shock absorber systems. The high quality rubber compound used in manufacture is selected specifically for its resistance to tearing and its ability to maintain sealing integrity across repeated compression cycles, temperature variations, and exposure to the shock fluid used in Axial systems. O-rings are critical to shock performance because they create a fluid-tight seal that prevents oil leakage whilst allowing the piston rod to move freely. When an o-ring begins to wear or tear, fluid escapes from the shock chamber, resulting in reduced damping, inconsistent handling, and ultimately, diminished performance on the trail. By maintaining a supply of genuine Axial o-rings in your spares box, you can quickly restore your shocks to factory specification. The pack contains 10 individual o-rings, providing excellent value and ensuring you have backup units for multiple shock services or repairs.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are these o-rings compatible with my Axial RC vehicle? — The 3.5x2mm size is a standard o-ring specification used across many Axial shock systems. However, it is always recommended to check your specific vehicle's manual or contact our expert team to confirm compatibility with your model before ordering.
- How often should I replace the o-rings in my Axial shocks? — O-ring lifespan depends on how frequently you use your RC vehicle, the terrain you drive on, and storage conditions. Signs of wear include oil leaking from the shock, reduced damping performance, or visible cracks or tears in the rubber. Once any of these symptoms appear, replacement is recommended.
- Why are genuine Axial o-rings better than generic alternatives? — Genuine Axial o-rings are manufactured to exact specifications using premium rubber compounds formulated specifically for Axial shock systems. They provide superior tearing resistance and maintain their sealing properties longer than generic alternatives, ensuring better performance and reliability.
- What is the benefit of having 10 o-rings in one pack? — Most RC vehicles have multiple shocks (typically four), so a pack of 10 o-rings allows you to service two full vehicles, keep spare units for future maintenance, or have backup parts readily available without needing to reorder.
- Can I use these o-rings as replacement seals for other RC components? — Whilst the 3.5x2mm size may fit other applications, these o-rings are specifically engineered for Axial shock systems. Using them in other components may not provide the intended performance or reliability, so stick to Axial shocks for best results.
