Overview

The ARRMA Ball Bearing 5x10x4mm 2RS (2) Z-ARA610045 is an essential replacement component for RC enthusiasts maintaining and upgrading their RC models. Whether you're a dedicated RC car UK hobbyist or a weekend basher, having quality replacement bearings on hand is crucial for keeping your RC vehicle running smoothly. These precision ball bearings are designed to fit a wide range of ARRMA RC models, making them a versatile addition to your spare parts collection. With a 3.7 out of 5 customer rating, these bearings represent reliable hardware that's trusted by the RC community.

Ball bearings are fundamental to any RC vehicle's performance, as they reduce friction in rotating components and enable smooth, efficient motion throughout your model's drivetrain and suspension systems. The 2RS designation indicates that these bearings feature rubber seals on both sides, providing protection against dust, dirt and moisture that can degrade bearing performance during outdoor RC sessions. This sealed design makes them particularly suitable for UK RC drivers who face variable weather conditions, from wet British winters to dusty summer tracks. If you're looking to maintain your brushless RC car or any ARRMA model at peak performance, quality replacement bearings like these are an investment in longevity and reliability.

This pack contains two individual bearings, providing you with a matched pair for simultaneous replacement or strategic upgrades across your RC model. Whether you're building a ready to run RC car from scratch or maintaining an existing model, having the correct bearing size is essential for proper fitment and optimal performance. The 5x10x4mm dimensions are precisely engineered to meet ARRMA's exacting standards, ensuring that your RC vehicle maintains the tight tolerances and smooth operation that competitive and casual RC drivers alike depend upon.

Key Features

  • Dual 2RS Rubber Seals — Both sides of each bearing are fitted with rubber seals that create an effective barrier against dust, dirt and moisture, which is essential for extending bearing life and maintaining smooth operation in outdoor RC environments across the UK.
  • Precision 5x10x4mm Dimensions — These exact dimensions ensure perfect fitment in ARRMA RC models that require this specific bearing size, eliminating guesswork and ensuring proper alignment and performance in drivetrain and suspension applications.
  • Pack of Two Bearings — With two bearings supplied in this pack, you have a complete matched pair for simultaneous replacement, ensuring balanced performance and consistent handling throughout your RC vehicle.
  • High-Quality Ball Bearing Construction — Professional-grade ball bearing design reduces friction and enables smooth rotation, which directly translates to improved efficiency, faster acceleration and better overall performance of your RC car or truck.
  • ARRMA Genuine Component — As an official ARRMA part, you can be confident that these bearings meet the brand's quality standards and specifications, providing compatibility assurance with your existing ARRMA RC models.
  • Community-Tested Reliability — With ratings from fellow RC enthusiasts, these bearings have been proven in real-world conditions by RC drivers across the UK and beyond, offering peace of mind when investing in replacement components.

Technical Performance

The ARRMA Ball Bearing 5x10x4mm 2RS represents precision engineering designed for the demanding world of RC motorsport and casual bashing alike. These sealed ball bearings utilise quality steel components and precision manufacturing to ensure smooth, consistent rotation with minimal friction loss. The 2RS sealing system employs rubber guards on both inner and outer races, creating an effective defence against the elements that RC drivers regularly encounter — whether that's muddy track conditions, coastal salt spray, or the wet weather common across the UK. The 5mm bore diameter, 10mm outer diameter and 4mm width are carefully calculated dimensions that ensure these bearings integrate seamlessly into ARRMA's drivetrain and suspension systems. The sealed design means you'll spend less time cleaning and maintaining your bearings and more time enjoying your RC vehicle. In applications ranging from high-speed circuit racing to off-road bashing, these bearings provide the rotational efficiency that keeps your RC car responsive and fast. The precision manufacturing ensures that bearing preload is consistent, which is critical for maintaining proper suspension geometry and handling characteristics. Whether you're running a brushless RC car with high RPM motors or exploring the world of ready to run RC models, quality bearings like these are the foundation of reliable long-term performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What RC models use the 5x10x4mm bearing size? — This bearing size is compatible with various ARRMA RC models across their range. Consult your specific vehicle's manual or parts diagram to confirm whether your model requires this bearing size. The model number Z-ARA610045 is the authentic ARRMA part reference.
  • What does 2RS mean on bearings? — The 2RS designation means that both sides of the bearing (2) feature rubber seals (RS). These rubber seals create a protective barrier that keeps dirt, dust and moisture out of the bearing races, significantly extending bearing life and maintaining smooth operation during outdoor RC sessions in variable UK weather conditions.
  • Are these bearings suitable for brushless RC cars? — Yes, these sealed ball bearings are suitable for use in brushless RC cars and other ARRMA models that require the 5x10x4mm size. The sealed design protects the bearings from debris and moisture that can be thrown up during high-speed brushless RC driving.
  • How often should I replace my RC bearings? — Bearing replacement frequency depends on usage intensity and environmental conditions. Regular inspection is recommended, particularly after muddy or wet RC sessions. If you notice roughness, grinding sounds or resistance in bearing rotation, it's time for replacement. These ARRMA bearings make replacement straightforward and affordable.
  • What is the difference between sealed and unsealed bearings? — Sealed bearings (like this 2RS version) feature rubber guards that prevent contamination, making them ideal for outdoor RC use where dust and moisture are concerns. Unsealed bearings are lighter and may offer slightly lower friction but require more frequent cleaning and maintenance, making sealed bearings the better choice for most RC enthusiasts.
  • Can I use these bearings as replacements for worn originals? — Yes, these ARRMA genuine bearings are direct replacements for original 5x10x4mm 2RS bearings in compatible ARRMA RC models. Replacing worn bearings restores smooth operation and improves overall RC performance and handling characteristics.
