Overview
The ARRMA Steel Turnbuckle M4x60mm Silver (2) is an essential replacement and upgrade component for RC enthusiasts maintaining and tuning their ARRMA radio-controlled vehicles. Whether you're a seasoned RC car UK competitor or a weekend basher looking to keep your model in peak condition, turnbuckles are critical suspension adjustment components that allow you to fine-tune your vehicle's handling characteristics and geometry. This pack contains two steel turnbuckles in a professional silver finish, manufactured to ARRMA's exacting standards to ensure compatibility and reliability across their range of ready to run RC models.
Turnbuckles are fundamental to any RC car's suspension setup, enabling you to adjust track width, camber, and overall suspension geometry with precision. For anyone serious about getting the best performance from their brushless RC truck, buggy, or monster truck, having quality replacement turnbuckles in your spares box is essential. The steel construction ensures durability and resistance to bending under load, whilst the M4x60mm specification makes these suitable for various ARRMA models requiring this size adjustment component.
RC Model Shop stocks genuine ARRMA spares and upgrades for customers across the UK who demand authentic parts and expert knowledge. Whether you're rebuilding a vehicle after a crash, upgrading to improve performance, or simply maintaining your fleet of RC vehicles, these turnbuckles represent genuine manufacturer components that will integrate seamlessly with your existing setup.
Key Features
- Steel Construction — The use of steel for these turnbuckles provides superior durability and resistance to deformation compared to plastic alternatives, meaning they maintain their adjustment longer and perform reliably through intense driving sessions and competitive use.
- M4x60mm Specification — This specific size is engineered for compatibility with ARRMA vehicles that require this particular turnbuckle dimension, ensuring perfect fitment and proper suspension geometry when installed correctly.
- Silver Finish — The professional silver plating not only provides an attractive appearance that matches other ARRMA aluminium components, but also offers corrosion resistance to extend the service life of these critical adjustment parts.
- Pair Pack — Supplied as a set of two turnbuckles, this pack allows you to replace both sides of your suspension simultaneously, maintaining balanced geometry and preventing one side from having inferior adjustment range due to wear or damage on a single component.
- Genuine ARRMA Part — As an officially manufactured ARRMA component, these turnbuckles are engineered to exact specifications and will integrate perfectly with ARRMA RC vehicles, offering the quality assurance that comes with authentic manufacturer parts rather than third-party alternatives.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Steel Turnbuckle M4x60mm represents the engineering philosophy that goes into quality RC vehicle components. Steel turnbuckles are the preferred choice for serious RC enthusiasts because steel offers superior strength-to-weight ratio and maintains dimensional stability through repeated adjustment cycles. The M4 metric thread specification matches ARRMA's suspension design standards, whilst the 60mm length places these in the mid-range category suitable for vehicles requiring moderate suspension adjustment range. The silver finish provides both aesthetic appeal and practical corrosion protection, particularly important if your RC car UK experience includes outdoor bashing in various weather conditions. These components are critical for setting up your brushless RC truck or buggy correctly — proper turnbuckle adjustment allows you to dial in camber angle, track width, and suspension ride height to match your driving style and local track conditions. Whether you're tuning a competition-level setup or simply maintaining your ready to run RC model, quality turnbuckles ensure your suspension geometry remains consistent and predictable.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is a turnbuckle and why do I need replacement ones for my RC car? — A turnbuckle is a threaded adjustment component that connects suspension arms to the chassis or suspension links, allowing you to change the length of suspension rods to adjust ride height, camber angle, and track width. Turnbuckles wear out through use, can become bent in crashes, or need replacement when tuning your RC vehicle's handling. Having spare turnbuckles ensures you can maintain your RC car UK setup and make adjustments when needed.
- Are these turnbuckles compatible with all ARRMA models? — These M4x60mm turnbuckles are engineered by ARRMA for use on their vehicles that specify this component size. You should verify your specific model's parts list to confirm compatibility before ordering, as different ARRMA models use different suspension designs and turnbuckle specifications.
- Why choose steel turnbuckles over plastic ones? — Steel turnbuckles offer superior durability and maintain their straightness better than plastic alternatives, particularly during high-speed running or competitive use. They resist bending when you hit obstacles or during hard cornering, ensuring your suspension geometry remains stable through your entire driving session.
- Can I use these for my ready to run RC model straight away? — If you're replacing existing turnbuckles on a ready to run RC vehicle, these will install directly using the same threaded connections. However, if you're upgrading or performing significant suspension work, you may need to consult your vehicle's manual to understand proper adjustment and installation procedures.
- How do I adjust my turnbuckles for different driving conditions? — Turnbuckles are adjusted by threading them in or out on their central rod to change the length of the suspension arm. Threaded adjustment allows precise tuning — shortening creates more negative camber or reduces track width depending on which turnbuckle you're adjusting, whilst lengthening creates the opposite effect. Consult your ARRMA vehicle manual for specific setup guidance for your model.
