The 40mm length and 5.6N/mm spring rate specification provide the optimal balance between suspension travel, load support, and ride compliance. The precision-manufactured spring steel construction ensures that the springs maintain their performance characteristics over extended use, resisting fatigue and degradation even after thousands of driving hours. Frequently Asked Questions
- What ARRMA models are these shock springs compatible with? — These 40mm springs are compatible with multiple ARRMA vehicles including the 1/7 FELONY 6S AVC 4X4, the 1/7 INFRACTION 6S and INFRACTION 6S AVC models, and the 1/7 LIMITLESS range including the LIMITLESS 120 8S AVC and LIMITLESS 6S variants. Always check your specific vehicle's parts list to confirm fitment before ordering.
- Why would I need to replace my shock springs? — Shock springs can wear out over time, losing their spring rate and affecting your vehicle's handling characteristics. Additionally, different track conditions, driving styles, and weight configurations may require different spring rates to maintain optimal performance. Having spare springs on hand allows you to quickly adapt to changing conditions or replace worn components without downtime.
- What is the difference between the 5.6N/mm spring rate and other available spring rates? — ARRMA offers various spring rates including #ARA330599 and #ARA330632, which are also 40mm in length but with different spring rates. A softer spring rate (lower N/mm value) provides more compliance and absorption, making it better for rough terrain and bashing, whilst a stiffer spring rate (higher N/mm value) provides more support and control, making it better for competitive racing on smooth tracks.
- How do I install these shock springs? — Installation simply involves removing your old shock springs and installing these new ones. The springs fit directly onto your shock bodies without requiring any modification or special tools. If you're unfamiliar with suspension tuning, our team at RC Model Shop in Walsall can provide guidance and support.
- Are these genuine ARRMA parts? — Yes, these are genuine ARRMA Original Equipment Manufacturer components, not aftermarket reproductions. As an authorised ARRMA retailer, RC Model Shop stocks only authentic parts with full manufacturer warranty and support.
