This precision-engineered seal set provides the critical protection your receiver box needs against dirt, moisture, and water ingress during outdoor RC car UK adventures. Whether you're bashing at the track or exploring rugged terrain with your brushless RC car, maintaining a watertight receiver box is fundamental to ensuring reliability and longevity of your vehicle's electronics.

ARRMA has become synonymous with high-performance RC models across the United Kingdom and beyond, and their attention to detail extends to replacement spares like this radio box seal set. This kit replaces the factory-supplied seals that come with your RC model, making it ideal for maintenance, repairs, or upgrading worn components. Designed with precision manufacturing standards, this seal set reflects ARRMA's commitment to quality and performance. The carefully selected rubber materials and innovative foam wire seal design demonstrate why ARRMA remains a leading choice for serious RC car enthusiasts in the UK and internationally. Whether you're a weekend basher, competitive racer, or casual hobbyist, protecting your investment with quality spare parts is a smart decision.

Key Features

  • Precision Manufactured Rubber Seal — The radio box lid seal is precision manufactured to exacting tolerances, ensuring a perfect fit on your ARRMA Infraction receiver box and providing maximum dirt and moisture resistance. This precision manufacturing means you get consistent, reliable protection that won't compromise your model's weather resistance capabilities.
  • Carefully Selected Rubber Material — ARRMA engineers have selected premium rubber compounds specifically chosen for maximum durability and longevity. This superior material selection ensures your seals won't harden, crack, or degrade prematurely, maintaining their effectiveness through countless RC racing sessions and outdoor adventures.
  • Innovative Foam Wire Seal Design — The specially designed foam wire seal is engineered to mould itself around wires entering the receiver box, creating an effective barrier against water ingress. This thoughtful design detail prevents moisture from tracking along wires into the electronics compartment, which is one of the most common paths for water damage in RC vehicles.
  • Complete Seal Set — This set includes both the radio box lid seal and the radio box wire seal, giving you everything needed to fully reseal your receiver compartment. Having both components in one purchase means you won't miss any sealing points and can restore your model's weather resistance in one go.
  • Genuine ARRMA Spare Part — As an official ARRMA spare part, this seal set is engineered to exact specifications and perfectly matches the requirements of your Infraction 6S BLX. Using genuine spares ensures compatibility, fit, and performance that aftermarket alternatives cannot guarantee.

Technical Performance

The ARRMA Radio Box Seal Set Z-ARA320508 represents the engineering standards ARRMA applies to all their products. The kit comprises two essential sealing components: a precision-manufactured rubber lid seal and an innovative foam wire seal. The rubber material has been specifically selected through rigorous testing to provide optimal resistance to degradation from UV exposure, temperature fluctuations, and the harsh chemicals found in RC environments. The foam wire seal is equally important, featuring a formula that remains flexible and moldable around wires whilst maintaining its sealing integrity. These materials work together to create a comprehensive barrier system that prevents water, dust, dirt, and moisture from entering your receiver electronics. The precision manufacturing process ensures tolerances are maintained across every unit, meaning you get consistent performance whether this is your first seal replacement or your fifth. For RC enthusiasts using their brushless RC cars in challenging UK weather conditions—from wet Scottish highlands to muddy Midlands tracks—this seal set provides the reliability needed to keep electronics protected. The materials are engineered to perform across temperature ranges from cold winter conditions to warm summer racing sessions, maintaining flexibility and effectiveness throughout the year.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which ARRMA models is the Z-ARA320508 radio box seal set compatible with? — This genuine ARRMA spare part is compatible with the ARRMA Infraction 6S BLX models, specifically the C-ARA7615V2T1 (Infraction 6S BLX in Blue) and C-ARA7615V2T2 (Infraction 6S BLX in Silver). If you own either of these brushless RC models, this seal set will fit perfectly and provide the protection your receiver box needs.
  • Why do I need to replace my radio box seals? — Over time and with regular use, rubber seals can harden, crack, or lose their sealing effectiveness due to UV exposure, temperature changes, and the stresses of off-road RC driving. Replacing worn seals is crucial for maintaining water resistance and protecting your expensive electronics from moisture damage. Regular seal maintenance is a simple way to extend the life of your brushless RC car's electronics and prevent costly failures.
  • How often should I replace my receiver box seals? — There's no fixed schedule, as seal lifespan depends on how frequently you use your RC model and the conditions you drive in. However, if you notice water damage, moisture inside the receiver box, or visible cracks in the existing seals, it's time to replace them immediately. Many RC enthusiasts inspect their seals annually and replace them preventatively every two to three years with regular use.
  • Is this suitable for beginners? — Yes, replacing receiver box seals is a straightforward maintenance task suitable for RC enthusiasts of all experience levels. The installation process requires only basic tools and is far less complex than other RC repairs. If you can remove and reinstall your receiver box, you can replace these seals. It's an excellent maintenance skill for anyone new to the RC hobby to learn.
  • What are the main benefits of this seal set? — The primary benefit is protection against water damage, which is one of the most common causes of electronic failure in RC vehicles. By maintaining proper seals, you prevent moisture ingress that could cause short circuits or corrosion inside your receiver box. This is especially important if you race or bash in wet UK weather conditions. Secondarily, the seals prevent dirt and dust accumulation inside your electronics compartment, reducing the need for frequent cleaning and maintenance of internal components.
  • How do foam wire seals work to prevent water ingress? — Wires entering the receiver box represent potential weak points where water can track along the wire and into the electronics. The foam wire seal material mouldes around these wires, creating a physical barrier that prevents moisture from following the wire into the box. This is a critical detail many RC enthusiasts overlook, but it's one of the most effective ways water gets into receiver boxes. The specialised foam formula maintains its flexibility while staying in place around wires.
