Key Features
- Super-Strong Steel Material — These screws are manufactured from premium steel that delivers long-lasting durability and consistent fitting performance, ensuring your RC vehicle stays securely assembled during high-speed runs and intense off-road action.
- Precision Manufactured Threads — The machine-cut threads are engineered to exact specifications, allowing for fast and easy maintenance when you need to service your ARRMA RC car or make component adjustments without stripping or cross-threading issues.
- Flat Head Countersunk Design — The countersunk head style sits flush with component surfaces, creating a clean, professional appearance and ensuring fasteners don't protrude where they could catch on other parts or create aerodynamic drag.
- Hex Driver Type — The hex socket design works with standard hex keys and drivers, making installation and removal straightforward and eliminating the risk of stripping out the fastener head like you might experience with other drive types.
- M2x8mm Specification — Engineered as true M2 metric fasteners with an 8mm length, these screws are designed specifically for ARRMA's engineering tolerances and component specifications, ensuring perfect compatibility across the ARRMA vehicle range.
- Pack of 10 Spare Parts — Bagged in multiples of 10, you always have backup fasteners available for repairs, replacements, and maintenance without needing to purchase multiple packs for basic maintenance tasks.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Flat Head Hex Machine Screw 2x8mm represents the kind of engineering precision that underpins professional RC vehicle design and maintenance. These are not generic fasteners sourced from a bulk supplier—they are precision-manufactured machine screws with carefully engineered threads cut to exact tolerances. The M2 metric thread size and 8mm length make them compatible with ARRMA's internal component assemblies, servo mounts, and suspension linkage systems. The countersunk flat head design ensures screws sit flush below the surface of component mounting points, critical for maintaining the tight assembly tolerances that ARRMA vehicles require. The super-strong steel material resists stripping and fatigue, which is essential when you're repeatedly assembling and disassembling components during maintenance, tuning, and repairs. The hex socket driver type (rather than Phillips or slotted alternatives) provides superior torque transfer and dramatically reduces the risk of damaging the fastener head during installation. Whether you're maintaining a high-performance RC buggy, a monster truck, or any other ARRMA vehicle platform, having genuine spare fasteners in your parts box ensures you can service your equipment with confidence and complete reliability.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are these screws compatible with all ARRMA RC vehicles? — Yes, these M2x8mm flat head hex machine screws are genuine ARRMA spare parts designed for compatibility with ARRMA's vehicle range. However, always verify the correct fastener specification for your specific model before installation, as different vehicle platforms may use different fastener sizes in different locations.
- Why should I use genuine ARRMA spare parts instead of generic fasteners? — Genuine ARRMA spare parts are engineered to the exact specifications and tolerances of ARRMA vehicles. Using generic fasteners can result in poor fit, cross-threading, stripped holes, and unreliable assembly. Genuine parts ensure your RC car maintains the structural integrity and reliability ARRMA designed into it.
- What does countersunk flat head mean? — The countersunk flat head design means the screw head sits flush (level) with the surface of the component you're fastening, rather than protruding. This is critical in RC vehicles where protruding fasteners can catch on surrounding parts, affect aerodynamics, or create snagging points during assembly.
- How many screws do I get in this pack? — This pack contains 10 x M2x8mm flat head hex machine screws, providing you with enough spare fasteners for multiple maintenance sessions or component replacements without needing to purchase additional packs immediately.
- Can I use these screws for other RC brands? — While the M2x8mm specification is a standard metric size, these screws are engineered specifically for ARRMA vehicles and component tolerances. For compatibility with other RC brands, consult the manufacturer's specifications first.
- What tools do I need to install these screws? — These hex socket screws require a standard metric hex key (Allen key) or hex driver bit in the appropriate size. The exact hex key size will depend on the socket diameter, which should be specified in your ARRMA vehicle's manual or parts documentation.
