Key Features

  • High-Quality Ball-Race Construction — These bearings feature precision ball-race construction that has been manufactured to the highest standards, ensuring smooth rotation and minimal friction that translates directly into faster acceleration and better overall performance on your ARRMA vehicle.
  • Closed Ball-Race Face Design — The closed ball-race face provides added durability and essential protection from dirt, debris, and moisture, which means your bearings will maintain their smooth operation even when you're driving in dusty, muddy, or wet conditions that are common across UK terrain.
  • Precision Manufacturing — These bearings are manufactured with precision engineering to exacting specifications, ensuring they fit perfectly with your ARRMA vehicle's drivetrain components and deliver consistent, reliable performance every single time you take your RC car out.
  • OEM ARRMA Quality — As genuine ARRMA components, these bearings meet the original equipment manufacturer's standards and are the same bearings used in ARRMA production vehicles, giving you complete confidence in compatibility and performance.

Technical Performance

The ARRMA Bearing 5x10x4mm represents the epitome of precision bearing engineering for RC applications. With dimensions of 5x10x4mm, these bearings are specifically engineered for ARRMA drivetrain systems where reliability and smooth operation are paramount. The closed ball-race face design is particularly important for RC cars that see regular use in varied conditions across the UK; the sealed design prevents contamination from dirt and moisture ingress, which would otherwise cause premature wear and degradation of bearing performance. The precision manufacturing process ensures that each bearing maintains tight tolerances, enabling smooth, efficient rotation with minimal wobble or play. When properly installed, these bearings deliver noticeably smoother vehicle operation, improved acceleration response, and enhanced overall handling characteristics. The high-quality ball-race construction minimises friction losses, meaning more of your motor's power is converted into forward motion rather than being wasted through bearing drag. For competitive RC racing or serious hobbyists seeking maximum performance from their ARRMA platform, fresh bearings are an essential component of any maintenance programme.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What vehicles are these ARRMA bearings compatible with? — These Z-AR610002 bearings in 5x10x4mm size are designed for specific ARRMA vehicle models. We recommend checking your ARRMA vehicle's manual or contacting our expert team to confirm compatibility with your particular model before ordering, as different ARRMA vehicles use different bearing sizes.
  • Why do RC car bearings need replacing? — Ball bearings in RC cars experience constant friction and wear during use. Over time, dirt, debris, and moisture can contaminate the bearing surfaces, causing increased friction, slower performance, and potential failure. Regular bearing replacement as part of routine maintenance ensures your ARRMA RC car continues to perform at peak efficiency and prevents more serious drivetrain damage.
  • How often should I replace my RC car bearings? — The frequency depends on how heavily you use your ARRMA vehicle and the conditions in which you operate it. Weekend bashers might get many months or years from a set of bearings, whilst competitive racers who run regularly may benefit from more frequent replacement. If you notice your RC car slowing down or feeling less responsive, it's likely time to inspect and potentially replace your bearings.
  • Is this suitable for beginners? — Whilst bearing replacement is a straightforward maintenance task for anyone with basic RC mechanical knowledge and a few simple tools, complete beginners may prefer to have their bearings replaced by an experienced technician. However, if you're comfortable working on your RC car, there are plenty of online guides available to walk you through the bearing replacement process step by step.
  • What's the difference between open and closed bearings? — Open bearings offer marginally lower friction but are susceptible to contamination from dirt and moisture. Closed ball-race bearings like these Z-AR610002 units sacrifice a tiny amount of raw speed for significantly improved durability and performance longevity, making them ideal for RC cars used in outdoor environments across the UK where moisture and debris are common challenges.
  • Will new bearings improve my RC car's speed? — If your existing bearings are worn or contaminated, replacing them with fresh bearings like these ARRMA units will absolutely improve your vehicle's speed and acceleration as friction is reduced and power transfer becomes more efficient. Even if your current bearings seem to be working, upgrading to quality OEM bearings can provide marginal performance improvements.
