Overview
The ARRMA Aluminium Servo Saver Hub is an essential spare part for any RC enthusiast who takes their hobby seriously. Whether you're running an ARRMA RC car UK model or maintaining a collection of precision RC vehicles, this component plays a critical role in protecting your servo from damage during impacts and crashes. The servo saver is one of the most important safety mechanisms in modern RC vehicle design, absorbing shock and preventing costly servo damage when your car hits obstacles or experiences sudden impacts during high-speed runs.
Designed and manufactured by ARRMA, a leading name in ready to run RC vehicles and spare parts, this aluminium servo saver hub combines lightweight engineering with exceptional durability. The precision-crafted design ensures smooth operation and reliable performance, making it an ideal replacement part for RC bashers, racers, and hobbyists who demand quality components. If you're serious about maintaining your RC car UK collection and want to avoid expensive servo replacements, carrying this spare part in your RC tool box is essential.
This particular servo saver hub is engineered to the exacting standards ARRMA is known for throughout the RC hobby. It's the kind of component that separates casual RC enthusiasts from serious operators who understand that preventative maintenance and quality spares extend the life of expensive servo units and keep your RC models performing at their best.
Key Features
- High-quality lightweight aluminium construction — Made from premium aluminium rather than plastic, this hub offers superior strength and durability whilst keeping weight to a minimum, which is crucial for maintaining responsive handling in your RC vehicle and reducing overall chassis weight.
- ARRMA red anodised finish — The distinctive eye-catching red anodised coating not only looks great and matches ARRMA RC car styling, but also provides corrosion resistance and protection against wear, ensuring this component looks fresh and maintains its finish even after extended use.
- Precision manufactured adjustment threads — The servo saver adjustment threads are manufactured to exacting tolerances, allowing for smooth and easy servo saver setting adjustments that let you fine-tune the tension to suit your driving style and terrain conditions.
- Super-tough composite adjustment nut — Rather than a fragile metal nut that could strip or damage, the composite adjustment nut is engineered for long-lasting durability and won't easily break under the vibration and impacts typical in RC bashers and off-road racing.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Aluminium Servo Saver Hub represents thoughtful engineering in spare parts design. Constructed from premium lightweight aluminium, this component delivers the strength needed to protect your servo during the rigorous demands of RC car operation, whether you're bashing through rough terrain or pushing your ready to run RC car to its limits in competitive racing. The anodised red finish isn't merely cosmetic—it serves as a protective layer that resists corrosion and wear, extending the working life of the component considerably. The precision-manufactured adjustment threads allow for repeatable, smooth servo saver tension adjustments without the sloppiness or wear that can develop in lower-quality plastic alternatives. The composite adjustment nut represents a smart engineering choice, offering superior impact resistance compared to metal fasteners whilst maintaining reliability across countless adjustment cycles. This is the kind of attention to detail that ARRMA is recognised for in their brushless RC models and comprehensive spare parts range.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is a servo saver hub and why do I need it? — A servo saver hub is a critical safety component that protects your RC servo from damage during crashes and impacts. It works by absorbing shock and allowing controlled slippage before your servo experiences damage, preventing expensive servo replacements and extending the life of your servo units considerably.
- Is this suitable for beginners? — Yes, absolutely. Whilst beginners might not immediately understand why servo savers matter, any RC enthusiast planning to use their vehicle regularly should have spare servo saver components available. This is a preventative maintenance item that all RC car owners benefit from having in their toolbox, regardless of skill level.
- Will this fit my ARRMA RC car? — This is a genuine ARRMA spare part designed specifically for ARRMA vehicles. To confirm compatibility with your specific model, check your vehicle's documentation or contact our expert team at RC Model Shop who can assist with compatibility questions.
- How often should I replace my servo saver hub? — Most servo saver hubs are durable and last a long time with proper use, but they can wear or crack during serious crashes. This is why keeping a spare in your RC tool box is smart maintenance practice, allowing you to quickly replace a damaged hub rather than interrupting your driving sessions.
- Why is this aluminium version better than plastic alternatives? — Aluminium offers superior strength compared to plastic whilst remaining lightweight, meaning better durability without the weight penalty that can affect your RC car's handling and speed. The anodised finish also provides better corrosion resistance and a more professional appearance that reflects the quality of ARRMA ready to run RC vehicles.
