Overview
The ARRMA Shock Springs 95mm 0.87N/mm 5.0lb/in (2) are precision-engineered suspension components designed to help you fine-tune your RC vehicle's handling characteristics in seconds. Whether you're running a high-performance 1/8 scale brushless RC speed truck, a 1/7 scale desert buggy, or a stunt truck, these shock springs are essential tuning parts that allow you to adjust your suspension setup without spending hours on complex modifications. Perfect for RC enthusiasts in the UK who want to optimise their vehicle's performance on the track or off-road, these springs deliver consistent, reliable performance every single time you hit the ground.
These high-quality shock springs are manufactured using precision spring steel that has been engineered to the exacting standards ARRMA is recognised for across the RC community. The springs come as a pair, giving you a complete set to upgrade both front and rear shocks on your vehicle, or to have spares on hand for when you need to swap setups during a race or bash session. With a spring rate of 0.87N/mm (5.0lb/in), these springs strike an excellent balance between compliance and support, making them suitable for a wide range of driving conditions and terrain types.
Available now in the UK, the ARRMA Shock Springs 95mm work seamlessly with a variety of ARRMA 6S models, including the Kraton, Outcast, Mojave, Notorious, and Fireteam platforms. These are not generic springs—they are specifically engineered to work with ARRMA's suspension geometry and damping characteristics, ensuring you get the exact handling response you're looking for when you're pushing your RC car to its limits.
Key Features
- Precision Manufactured Spring Steel — Every spring is manufactured using high-grade spring steel that maintains its strength and elasticity through thousands of cycles, ensuring consistent suspension performance and long-lasting durability even under the demanding conditions of competitive racing or aggressive bashing.
- Perfect Spring Rate — With a spring rate of 0.87N/mm (5.0lb/in), these springs provide the ideal balance between ride compliance and handling control, allowing your vehicle to maintain traction whilst keeping the chassis stable through corners and over obstacles.
- 95mm Length — The 95mm length is specifically designed for ARRMA 6S vehicles, ensuring proper fitment and correct suspension geometry for maximum performance and handling responsiveness.
- Pair Included — You receive two springs in this package, which means you can upgrade both sides of your vehicle or maintain a spare set for different track conditions without needing to place multiple orders.
- Fast Tuning — By simply swapping springs, you can dramatically alter your vehicle's suspension characteristics in seconds, eliminating the need for lengthy suspension adjustments and allowing you to adapt quickly to changing track conditions or driving preferences.
- Compatible with Multiple ARRMA 6S Models — These springs are listed as standard parts for numerous ARRMA 6S vehicles including the Kraton 6S, Outcast 6S, Mojave 6S, Notorious 6S, and Fireteam 6S, making them a versatile upgrade option for ARRMA enthusiasts.
Technical Performance
These ARRMA shock springs represent the kind of precision engineering that separates serious RC equipment from casual hobby-grade components. Manufactured from high-quality spring steel, each spring has been carefully calibrated to deliver a spring rate of 0.87N/mm, which translates to 5.0lb/in in imperial measurements. This specification ensures that the springs provide adequate support for your vehicle's chassis whilst remaining compliant enough to absorb impacts and maintain consistent tyre contact with the ground. The 95mm length has been engineered to work in harmony with ARRMA's suspension geometry on their 6S models, ensuring that when you install these springs, your vehicle maintains the correct ride height and suspension travel characteristics that ARRMA designed into each model. The precision manufacturing process means there is minimal variance between the two springs in the pair, so your vehicle's suspension will remain balanced and predictable. Whether you're driving on hard-packed desert terrain, rocky off-road trails, or smooth tarmac, these springs will maintain their performance characteristics and provide reliable, repeatable handling that allows you to focus on driving rather than worrying about suspension behaviour.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Which ARRMA 6S models are these shock springs compatible with? — These springs are listed as standard parts for the 1/8 Kraton 6S, 1/8 Kraton 6S EXB AVC, 1/8 Notorious 6S, 1/8 Outcast 6S, 1/8 Outcast 6S EXB AVC, 1/7 Mojave 6S, 1/7 Mojave 6S EXB, and 1/7 Fireteam 6S. If you own any of these models, these springs will fit and are specifically engineered for your vehicle's suspension system.
- What does the 0.87N/mm spring rate mean? — The spring rate of 0.87N/mm (or 5.0lb/in) indicates how stiff the spring is. A higher spring rate means a stiffer spring that resists compression more, whilst a lower rate is softer and compresses more easily. This rate is specifically chosen to work with ARRMA 6S vehicles and provides a balanced suspension feel suitable for various driving conditions.
- Can I mix and match different spring rates on my vehicle? — Whilst it's technically possible, it's not recommended. Mixing spring rates can create unpredictable handling characteristics and suspension imbalance. ARRMA recommends using matched springs front and rear for consistent, predictable performance.
- How often should I replace my shock springs? — With proper care, these precision manufactured springs will last for thousands of run cycles. However, if you notice reduced suspension compliance, uneven handling, or visible damage to the springs, it's time to replace them. Having a spare pair on hand means you can continue driving whilst troubleshooting suspension issues.
- Are these springs suitable for both track racing and off-road bashing? — Yes, the 0.87N/mm rate is versatile enough to work well in both environments. The spring's compliance allows it to absorb impacts during off-road driving whilst maintaining the support needed for controlled track driving. Many ARRMA owners use these springs as their standard setup for general driving before moving to alternative rates for specific conditions.
- What is the difference between these 95mm springs and other ARRMA spring options? — ARRMA manufactures springs in different lengths and rates to suit different vehicle models and driving preferences. The 95mm length with 0.87N/mm rate is specifically designed for 6S models and provides the geometry and compliance characteristics those vehicles need. Other lengths or rates would alter your suspension geometry and potentially compromise handling.
