Overview
The Logic Chg Ld 4mm~Tam, Dns, BEC, Rx, Fut/JR Tx (Model O-LGL-CLMEP) is a versatile multi-connector charging lead designed to simplify your RC bench setup and reduce clutter. This practical accessory brings together five different popular connector types in a single lead, making it an essential addition to any RC hobbyist's toolkit. Whether you're charging Tamiya batteries, Deans-equipped packs, BEC and receiver batteries, or transmitter packs from Futaba and JR radio systems, this single lead eliminates the need for multiple separate adapters.
The lead features a standard 4mm charger output connection on one end, making it compatible with the vast majority of RC chargers available in the UK market today. This makes it ideal for RC car enthusiasts, boat modellers, aircraft pilots and transmitter operators who work with multiple battery types and connector standards. If you operate a diverse RC fleet with different battery connectors—common for anyone who's been collecting RC models for more than a few years—this multi-connector lead is an absolute game-changer for streamlining your charging workflow.
Manufactured by Fusion and branded under the Logic RC label, this charging lead represents excellent value and reliability. The compact design ensures it won't take up excessive space in your model box or charging station, and the robust construction means it will withstand regular use in demanding hobby environments. This is the sort of practical accessory that makes the difference between an efficient, organised RC charging setup and one that requires hunting through drawers for the right adapter every time you want to charge a battery.
Key Features
- 4mm Charger Output Connection — The lead terminates in a standard 4mm plug, which is the industry-standard charger connector found on virtually all modern mains and 12V DC RC chargers available in the UK, ensuring broad compatibility with your existing charging equipment regardless of brand.
- Tamiya Connector Option — Includes a Tamiya connector, one of the most widely used battery connectors in RC cars, boats and smaller aircraft, allowing you to charge any battery equipped with this classic connector type without requiring a separate adapter.
- Deans Connector Option — Features a Deans (also called Dean-style) connector, a high-current rated connector found on many performance and racing-oriented RC batteries, making this lead essential if you operate high-speed RC cars or competition-grade RC models.
- BEC Connector Option — Incorporates a BEC (Battery Elimination Circuit) connector, a two-pin connector commonly used for powering receiver packs and servo systems independently from the main motor battery, essential for any RC operator working with separate battery systems.
- Receiver Battery Charging Capability — The RX option allows you to safely charge receiver batteries without disrupting your main power system, critical for reliable RC operation where receiver battery voltage must be maintained separately.
- Futaba and JR Transmitter Compatibility — Dedicated Fut/JR TX connector allows you to charge transmitter battery packs from Futaba and JR radio systems, the two most popular radio brands in RC aviation and surface racing, without searching for specialist adapters.
- Single Lead Eliminates Adapter Clutter — Combining five different connector options in one charging lead means less time spent searching for the correct adapter and more time actually enjoying your RC hobby, whilst keeping your charging bench organised and professional-looking.
- Compact and Portable Design — The single lead format is more portable than carrying multiple individual adapters, making this an ideal addition to take along to RC clubs, events, or when visiting fellow RC enthusiasts for a day's flying or racing.
Technical Performance
The Logic Chg Ld 4mm~Tam, Dns, BEC, Rx, Fut/JR Tx represents intelligent engineering in accessory design. Rather than forcing you to carry five separate charging leads or adapters—each taking up space and prone to getting lost—this single lead consolidates multiple connector standards into one product. The 4mm charger input is the industry standard adopted by virtually every RC charger manufacturer worldwide, meaning this lead will work with mains-powered chargers, 12V DC power supply chargers, and even newer USB-input chargers with 4mm output adapters. The construction quality ensures reliable electrical contact across all connector types, which is critical when charging lithium-based batteries like LiPo and LiHV packs where poor connections can cause charging issues or battery damage. The lead is designed to withstand the demands of active RC hobbyists who may charge multiple different battery types daily. Each connector option—Tamiya, Deans, BEC, RX, Futaba/JR TX—is properly rated for the typical charging currents used in RC applications, from small receiver batteries drawing just a few hundred milliamps through to high-capacity main batteries drawing several amps.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Will this charging lead work with my current RC charger? — Yes, provided your charger has a standard 4mm output connector, which is the industry standard found on the vast majority of RC chargers available in the UK. This includes mains-powered chargers, 12V DC chargers, and USB-input chargers with 4mm output adapters. If you're unsure about your charger's output connector type, the 4mm is by far the most common standard.
- What batteries can I charge with this lead? — This lead is compatible with any battery featuring one of its five connector types: Tamiya batteries (Mini Tamiya or Standard Tamiya connectors), Deans-equipped batteries, BEC connector batteries, receiver packs with RX connectors, and Futaba or JR transmitter batteries. This covers the vast majority of batteries used across RC cars, boats, aircraft and transmitters in the UK.
- Is this suitable for beginners? — Absolutely. This lead is ideal for beginners who are starting to build a diverse RC collection with different battery types. Rather than purchasing five separate leads and adapters, this single product covers all the most common connector standards, making it both cost-effective and educational as you learn which batteries use which connectors. It's also useful for beginners who inherit used RC models with different battery types.
- Why do I need multiple connector options on one lead? — Different RC manufacturers and battery brands have historically standardised on different connector types for various reasons. Tamiya remains popular in RC cars and boats, Deans is preferred for high-performance applications, BEC and RX connectors are used for receiver systems, and Futaba/JR connectors are standard for transmitters. If you operate multiple RC models from different manufacturers or eras, you'll encounter all these connector types, making a single multi-connector lead far more practical than managing separate adapters.
- Can I use this lead for both charging and discharging? — This is a charging lead specifically designed for charger output to battery input. It should only be used in the direction indicated (from charger to battery). Never attempt to use it in reverse or for discharging operations, as this could damage your charger or create safety hazards.
- What is the difference between this and buying individual leads? — Purchasing this multi-connector lead costs significantly less than buying five separate individual leads, saves enormous amounts of bench space, reduces the risk of losing individual leads, and means you always have the right connector available when you need it. It's an investment in organisation and efficiency that pays dividends if you operate more than a few RC models.
