Overview
The DYN 5mm Low Profile Bullet Connectors represent an essential upgrade for RC enthusiasts looking to optimise their electrical connections. These compact connectors are specifically designed to reduce weight and profile whilst maintaining reliable power delivery to your RC vehicle's electronics. Whether you're tuning a Losi 22T 4.0 stadium truck, upgrading your brushless RC car, or maintaining your RC hobby fleet, these low-profile bullet connectors deliver the consistency and dependability that serious RC racers and weekend bashers alike demand from their equipment. The 5mm size offers excellent compatibility with a wide range of RC cars and trucks across the UK RC market.
As a crucial component for any RC enthusiast working with electric RC vehicles, these connectors are perfect for those who understand the importance of quality electrical components. Low-profile designs like these are particularly valued because they reduce the overall footprint of your power connections, leaving more room in your RC car's chassis for batteries, ESCs, and other essential electronics. If you're running a competitive setup or simply want to maximise the potential of your RC ride, upgrading to quality connectors ensures minimal voltage drop and maximum power transfer to your motor.
The pack includes four connectors, giving you multiple connections for your RC setup or providing spares for future upgrades. Whether you're building a new RC car, repairing an existing one, or upgrading the electronics on your RC buggy or truck, having reliable bullet connectors on hand is essential for any RC hobbyist in the UK.
Key Features
- Low Profile Design — The compact form factor of these 5mm connectors reduces the overall bulk of your power connections, leaving precious space in your RC car's battery compartment and chassis for other essential components, which is particularly important in competition builds where every millimetre counts.
- 5mm Bullet Connector Size — This standard size ensures broad compatibility across the RC hobby market, allowing you to use these connectors with most electric RC vehicles, from 1/10-scale stadium trucks to various other RC car platforms without requiring adapters.
- Pack of Four — Four connectors per pack means you have spares for multiple connections or future upgrades, making this an economical choice for RC enthusiasts who maintain several vehicles or frequently swap components between different RC builds.
- Reliable Power Delivery — Quality bullet connectors maintain excellent electrical contact and minimise resistance in your power circuit, ensuring maximum voltage delivery to your brushless motor and ESC for optimal performance on the track or in the field.
- Dynamite Brand Quality — Dynamite is a recognised manufacturer of RC accessories and tools, and these connectors meet the standards expected by the RC community for durability and consistent performance across countless RC applications.
Technical Performance
The DYN 5mm Low Profile Bullet Connectors are engineered to meet the exacting standards of RC vehicle builders and tuners. The 5mm specification refers to the diameter of the bullet contact, making these connectors suitable for moderate to high current applications in electric RC vehicles. Low-profile bullet connectors are designed with a more compact body than standard connectors, reducing weight and allowing for a smaller overall footprint when installed in your RC car's electrical system. This is particularly beneficial in space-constrained applications common in 1/10-scale stadium trucks like the Losi 22T 4.0, where every gram and millimetre matters for performance and handling characteristics. The connectors are manufactured to tight tolerances to ensure a secure fit and minimal contact resistance, which translates to reliable power delivery with minimal voltage loss during acceleration or sustained high-load situations. Four connectors per pack provide flexibility for your RC setup, whether you're configuring a single vehicle with multiple battery connections or maintaining a fleet of RC cars and trucks.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What are 5mm bullet connectors used for in RC cars? — Bullet connectors are used to create quick-disconnect electrical connections between your RC car's battery, ESC, and motor. The 5mm size is a standard format across many RC vehicles, allowing power to flow reliably whilst enabling quick disconnection for battery swaps or maintenance without soldering.
- Are these connectors compatible with my Losi 22T 4.0? — The DYN 5mm Low Profile Bullet Connectors are listed within the Losi 22T 4.0 spares and upgrades catalogue, indicating compatibility with this popular 1/10-scale stadium truck platform. However, you should verify your specific vehicle's requirements or consult your manual to ensure compatibility with your particular setup.
- Why would I upgrade to low-profile connectors? — Low-profile bullet connectors reduce the overall size and weight of your power connections, which can free up valuable space in your RC car's chassis for battery placement or additional components. They're particularly popular among competitive RC racers who optimise every aspect of their vehicles for performance.
- What is the difference between 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm bullet connectors? — The numbers refer to the diameter of the bullet contact itself. Larger sizes generally handle higher current loads with lower resistance, whilst smaller sizes are lighter and more compact. The 5mm size offers a good balance for most 1/10-scale RC vehicles and is a widely adopted standard in the hobby.
- Can I solder these connectors myself? — Yes, bullet connectors are designed to be soldered to motor wires and battery connectors. You'll need a soldering iron, solder, and basic soldering skills to install these connectors on your RC car's electrical connections. Many RC hobbyists prefer to have connectors soldered by experienced builders or services if they're not comfortable with soldering.
