Overview
RPM Front Upper and Lower A-arms for ARRMA 2WD vehicles represent a significant upgrade for anyone serious about durability and suspension performance in their RC car. Whether you're a weekend basher enjoying off-road adventures with your ARRMA Granite, Vorteks, Raider XL, Fury or Mojave, or a competitive racer pushing your machine to the limit, these reinforced A-arms deliver the strength and precision you need. RPM is synonymous with durability and innovation, consistently delivering parts that outlast stock components and improve vehicle handling. These front A-arms are engineered to handle the punishment that comes with high-speed runs, jumps and aggressive driving whilst maintaining the tight suspension geometry your ARRMA deserves.
If you've been frustrated with loose, unpredictable suspension behaviour or watched your stock A-arms give up after a few hard crashes, this upgrade is for you. The RC car hobby in the UK continues to grow, and enthusiasts of all levels are discovering that investing in quality suspension components pays dividends in performance, reliability and enjoyment. These RPM A-arms represent exactly the kind of thoughtful engineering that separates good RC cars from great ones.
Each package contains everything needed to upgrade your entire front end suspension, with 2 upper A-arms and 2 lower A-arms supplied. Installation is straightforward for anyone with basic RC maintenance experience, and the benefits are immediately noticeable in improved handling and consistency.
Key Features
- Stronger Than Stock Design — These A-arms are engineered to be significantly stronger than the original ARRMA components, with beefier construction throughout to survive those out-of-control moments and heavy impacts that would damage stock plastic parts. The robust design means fewer suspension failures and less downtime for repairs.
- Engineering Grade Nylon Construction — Manufactured from RPM's incredibly tough blend of engineering grade nylons, these A-arms will outlast virtually every other part on your car. This premium material selection ensures flexibility where needed for durability but sufficient rigidity for performance, delivering a balanced suspension component that won't crack or shatter under stress.
- Reduced Hinge Pin Slop — RPM has dramatically reduced the amount of play in the suspension system at the hinge pins compared to stock components. This tighter tolerancing is crucial because excessive slop in the suspension causes unpredictable handling, making your RC car harder to drive consistently and more difficult to fine-tune for racing or performance driving.
- Improved Suspension Geometry — By reducing hinge pin slop, these A-arms significantly improve caster, camber and toe angles, making your suspension geometry more consistent throughout your driving session. This translates directly into more predictable handling characteristics, allowing you to push harder with confidence and spend less time troubleshooting setup issues.
- Complete Front Suspension Upgrade — The package includes both upper and lower A-arms for the front end, so you can complete an entire suspension overhaul without purchasing multiple products. This all-in-one approach saves money and ensures matching quality components throughout your front suspension.
- Limited Lifetime Warranty — These parts are backed by RPM's limited lifetime warranty, reflecting the manufacturer's confidence in the durability and quality of their engineering grade nylon construction. This warranty coverage provides peace of mind and demonstrates RPM's commitment to standing behind their products.
- Compatible with Multiple ARRMA Variants — These A-arms work with most 2WD variations of the Granite, Vorteks, Raider XL, Fury and Mojave, including BLS, BLX and Mega versions. This broad compatibility makes them an excellent choice for anyone with ARRMA 2WD models, whether you run brushed or brushless motors, and whether you've upgraded to LiPo batteries or Mega motorsystems.
Technical Performance
The RPM Front Upper and Lower A-arms represent a serious engineering effort to improve suspension performance on 1/10 scale ARRMA 2WD vehicles. Built from engineering grade nylon rather than standard plastic, these components offer superior toughness and longevity. The material selection is critical — RPM's proprietary nylon blend provides the perfect balance between flexibility (which prevents catastrophic failure) and rigidity (which maintains precise suspension geometry). The dramatic reduction in hinge pin slop is achieved through tighter tolerancing and improved design geometry, resulting in suspension angles that remain consistent from the first run through to the last. When you reduce play in the suspension, you reduce the variability in how the vehicle handles under different driving conditions, making it easier to maintain consistent lap times and more predictable in high-speed situations. These A-arms replace ARRMA part number 330225 and will give you noticeably tighter, more responsive steering and suspension feel. The engineering approach demonstrates RPM's understanding that RC performance depends not just on raw power but on precision geometry and durability. Whether you're running a brushless system with a high-performance LiPo battery or maintaining a brushed setup, these A-arms will serve as a reliable foundation for your suspension system.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Will these RPM A-arms fit my ARRMA 2WD RC vehicle? — Yes, these front A-arms are designed to work with most 2WD variations of the ARRMA Granite, Vorteks, Raider XL, Fury and Mojave, including BLS, BLX and Mega versions. However, they are not suitable for 4WD versions of these vehicles. They replace ARRMA stock A-arms part number 330225 directly.
- Are RPM A-arms compatible with all ARRMA hinge pin types? — These A-arms work exclusively with threaded style hinge pins (ARRMA part number 330018). They will not work with certain inner bulkhead hinge pins that require a separate hinge pin retaining screw. Before ordering, check that your vehicle uses the threaded hinge pin style.
- How much stronger are these than stock ARRMA A-arms? — RPM specifically engineered these A-arms to be significantly stronger than stock ARRMA components whilst maintaining flexibility. The engineering grade nylon material will outlast virtually every other part on your car. The beefier construction helps them survive crashes and impacts that would damage or break stock plastic arms.
- Will these A-arms improve my vehicle's handling? — Yes. By dramatically reducing hinge pin slop compared to stock components, these A-arms improve the consistency of your caster, camber and toe angles. This results in more predictable handling, easier vehicle control, and a suspension that's more consistent throughout your driving session or race run.
- Do I need any special tools to install these A-arms? — Installation requires basic RC maintenance tools such as screwdrivers and hex keys. If you're comfortable performing basic maintenance on your RC vehicle, installation should be straightforward. The A-arms are direct replacements for ARRMA part number 330225.
- What warranty do these A-arms come with? — RPM backs these A-arms with a limited lifetime warranty, reflecting the company's confidence in the durability of their engineering grade nylon construction and engineering quality.
- Can I use these on my ARRMA 4WD vehicle? — No, these A-arms are designed exclusively for 2WD variants of ARRMA vehicles. They are not compatible with 4WD versions of the Granite, Vorteks, Raider XL, Fury or Mojave.
- How do reduced hinge pin slop improve my RC car's performance? — When there's excessive play in the hinge pins, your suspension geometry changes constantly as the vehicle bounces and rolls, making the car unpredictable and difficult to drive consistently. By reducing this slop, RPM ensures your suspension maintains precise caster, camber and toe angles, resulting in more predictable handling and allowing you to drive harder with greater confidence.
