Overview
The ARRMA Shock Shaft Eyelet and Spring Perch Front (Z-AR330536) is an essential replacement suspension component for RC enthusiasts in the UK who demand quality and reliability from their vehicles. Whether you're running an ARRMA 1/10 scale monster truck, short course truck, or 1/8 scale buggy, this precision-engineered shock assembly delivers the durability and performance you need to keep your RC car running at its best. This high-quality shock shaft, eyelet and spring perch set is the perfect replacement part for your kit-supplied items, ensuring you can maintain peak suspension performance through intense bashing sessions or competitive racing.
ARRMA has built a reputation for manufacturing durable RC vehicles that can withstand serious punishment, and this replacement shock assembly reflects that same commitment to quality. The shock shaft eyelet and spring perch assembly is a critical component of your suspension system, directly affecting how your RC car handles bumps, jumps, and high-speed corners. When your factory shock components become worn or damaged through regular use, having access to genuine ARRMA replacement parts ensures you can restore your vehicle to its original specification without compromise. This is why serious RC hobbyists across the UK trust ARRMA spare parts to keep their vehicles in competition-ready condition.
Each pack comes with two front shock assemblies, providing you with both front shocks needed for a complete replacement or allowing you to maintain spares for your RC vehicle. The precision manufacturing and robust construction mean these shock shafts will provide years of reliable service, whether you're a weekend basher enjoying recreational driving or a serious racer pushing your vehicle to the limit.
Key Features
- Precision Manufactured Steel Shock Shafts — The shock shafts are manufactured to exacting standards using high-quality steel, which provides superior strength and durability compared to weaker materials. Steel construction resists bending and damage during high-impact driving scenarios, ensuring your suspension maintains proper geometry even through aggressive off-road or track conditions.
- Tough and Durable Moulded Shock Eyelet and Spring Perch — Rather than using separate components that can loosen or separate over time, the shock eyelet and spring perch are moulded as integrated parts. This manufacturing approach provides exceptional durability and eliminates potential failure points where multiple components would normally join together, making these shocks far more reliable during intense driving sessions.
- Integrated Eyelet Moulded onto Shock Shaft — The eyelet is moulded directly onto the shock shaft, providing a monolithic, strong assembly that cannot separate or fail at a critical joint. This design philosophy prioritises reliability and longevity, meaning your RC car's suspension will remain stable and predictable through countless drives without degradation of the shock mounting points.
- Two Front Shock Assemblies per Pack — This pack supplies both front shocks needed for a complete front suspension replacement, saving you money and ensuring your vehicle receives matching, uniform components. Having both front shocks available also allows you to maintain spare parts for backup systems or to share with fellow RC enthusiasts in your local UK RC community.
- Compatible with Multiple ARRMA 1/10 and 1/8 Scale Models — These shock assemblies are designed to fit a wide range of ARRMA vehicles including Big Rock, Granite, Senton, and Typhon models across both brushless and brushed platforms. This versatility means if you own multiple ARRMA RC vehicles, a single pack of these shock shafts can serve as a spare parts reserve across your entire collection.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Shock Shaft Eyelet and Spring Perch Front represents the engineering excellence that goes into keeping RC vehicles performing at the highest level. The shock shaft itself is constructed from precision-manufactured steel, a material choice that reflects ARRMA's understanding of what RC hobbyists need from suspension components. Steel provides the optimal balance of rigidity and impact resistance, ensuring the shock shaft maintains its straightness and geometry even after repeated high-impact landings and aggressive ground contact. The moulded shock eyelet and spring perch assembly demonstrates advanced manufacturing techniques that eliminate weak points in the design. Rather than threading separate components together or using fasteners that could vibrate loose, ARRMA has engineered these critical connection points as moulded structures bonded directly to the shock shaft. This approach significantly increases the fatigue resistance of the assembly, meaning these shocks will maintain their performance characteristics for many more driving cycles compared to conventionally assembled alternatives. The spring perch is designed with precision tolerances to ensure proper seating of your shock springs, maintaining consistent spring preload and allowing for fine-tuned suspension adjustments. Whether you're tuning for maximum traction across rough terrain or optimising for speed on smooth circuit tracks, the consistent geometry provided by these quality components allows you to make meaningful setup changes. These shock shafts are designed to work seamlessly with ARRMA's suspension spring range and are compatible with the shock spring sets available separately, such as the ARRMA Shock Spring 60mm 1.35N/mm (9.7LB/IN) 6S.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Which ARRMA RC cars do these shock shafts fit? — These front shock assemblies are compatible with a comprehensive range of ARRMA 1/10 and 1/8 scale models including the Big Rock 3S, Granite 3S and 4X4 (brushed and brushless variants), Senton 3S and 4X4 (brushed and brushless variants), as well as Typhon 3S and 4X4 models. This includes RTR Ready to Run versions and special editions across multiple colour variants. Always verify your specific model number against the compatibility list to ensure proper fitment.
- Will these shocks improve my RC car's handling? — If your original shock shafts have become bent, damaged, or are showing signs of wear, replacing them with these genuine ARRMA components will restore your vehicle's suspension to its original specification and handling characteristics. Worn or damaged shocks can cause uneven ride height, poor bump absorption, and unpredictable handling, so replacement will immediately improve performance if your shocks are compromised.
- Are these shocks suitable for both on-road and off-road RC driving? — Yes, these shock assemblies are designed for the diverse driving conditions experienced by ARRMA owners, from backyard bashing to track racing and off-road trail driving. The robust steel construction and moulded eyelet design make them equally capable whether you're launching jumps, driving across rocky terrain, or running high-speed circuit laps.
- Can I use these shocks on other RC brands? — No, these are specifically engineered for ARRMA vehicles. Whilst they may be physically similar to other brands' shocks, using non-ARRMA components could compromise suspension geometry, handling, and safety. Always use manufacturer-recommended parts to ensure your RC car performs as designed and maintains proper warranty coverage.
- How long do ARRMA shock shafts typically last? — With proper maintenance and normal use, genuine ARRMA shock shafts should provide years of reliable service. However, heavy impact crashes, extreme rock crawling, or high-speed impacts can bend shafts, requiring replacement. Many RC enthusiasts keep spare shock assemblies in their spares box for convenient replacement when damage occurs.
- What is the difference between the front and rear shock shafts? — This pack contains front shock assemblies. ARRMA vehicles typically have slightly different shock designs for front and rear positions due to different suspension geometry and load distribution. Ensure you order the correct front or rear component for your specific vehicle.
