Overview

If you're a dedicated RC enthusiast in the UK running ARRMA models, you know that keeping your RC car in peak condition is essential for consistent performance and longevity. The ARRMA Ball Bearing 6x12x4mm 2RS (2) Z-ARA610041 is a premium replacement bearing set designed specifically for ARRMA RC vehicles, offering the reliability and precision engineering that serious RC bashers demand. Whether you're maintaining a brushless RC monster truck, a short course truck, a stadium truck, or a buggy from the ARRMA range, these high-quality ball bearings deliver the smooth, consistent operation needed to keep your RC car running at its best across all conditions.

Bearing maintenance is one of the most important aspects of RC car ownership, and these rubber-shielded ball bearings are engineered to handle the rigours of off-road RC driving. Whether you're a weekend basher enjoying recreational RC car action or a competitive RC racer pushing your vehicle to its limits, having quality replacement bearings on hand is crucial. The ARRMA Ball Bearing 6x12x4mm 2RS is an OEM-quality component that ensures your drive shafts, axles and suspension components operate with minimal friction, translating directly to better performance, improved handling and extended component life.

These bearings are compatible with a comprehensive range of ARRMA models including the 1/10 Big Rock, Fury, Gorgon, Granite, Quake, Senton, and Vorteks ranges, as well as larger 1/8 scale models like the Infraction, Typhon, and Vendetta. No matter which ARRMA RC vehicle you're running, this bearing set represents genuine OEM quality that you can trust.

Key Features

  • Premium Ball-Raced Bearings — These bearings feature high-quality ball races that provide ultra-smooth operation in all conditions, whether you're bashing on tarmac, dirt, mud or grass. Smooth-running bearings reduce friction throughout your RC car's drivetrain, which means better acceleration, more efficient power delivery and less mechanical stress on your motor and gearbox.
  • Precision Manufactured for Easy Fitting — Every bearing is manufactured to exacting tolerances, ensuring they fit perfectly into your ARRMA RC car's bearing bays without modification or adjustment. This precision manufacturing means fast and hassle-free installation during maintenance or repairs, so you can get your RC vehicle back on the track or bashing trail quickly.
  • Consistent Tolerance Manufacturing — By maintaining consistent tolerances across the entire bearing set, ARRMA ensures safe and secure assembly without binding or play. This consistency is critical for reliable operation and means you can trust these bearings to perform identically to the original components in your RC car.
  • High-Quality Rubber Shields — The 2RS (2 rubber seals) designation means this bearing comes with protective rubber shields on both sides, providing enhanced protection against the elements that threaten bearing longevity. These shields keep dirt, mud, water and dust out of the bearing races while keeping the factory lubricant sealed inside where it belongs.
  • Extended Maintenance Intervals — Because the rubber shields effectively seal out contamination and retain lubrication, you'll spend less time maintaining and cleaning bearings and more time enjoying your RC car. This means more time bashing and less time wrenching, which is exactly what RC enthusiasts want.
  • Genuine ARRMA OEM Component — These are genuine ARRMA original equipment manufacturer parts, which means they're engineered and tested to work perfectly with ARRMA RC vehicles and meet the brand's quality standards.

Technical Performance

The ARRMA Ball Bearing 6x12x4mm 2RS (2) represents the kind of precision engineering that serious RC car owners expect from a reputable manufacturer. With an inside diameter of 6mm, an outside diameter of 12mm and a thickness of 4mm, these bearings are designed to fit precisely into the bearing bays of compatible ARRMA models. The ball-raced design minimises friction and rotational resistance, which is critical for RC car performance—reduced friction means smoother power delivery from your motor to the wheels, whether you're running a brushless or brushed RC car. The rubber seals on both sides (the 2RS specification) are engineered to keep out the mud, dust and water you'll inevitably encounter when driving your RC vehicle outdoors, whilst retaining the factory lubrication that keeps the ball races spinning freely. For RC bashers running high-performance brushless motors and LiPo batteries, smooth, reliable bearings are essential to maximise efficiency and minimise energy loss. Whether you're running 2WD or 4WD ARRMA models, stadium trucks, short course trucks, monster trucks or buggies, clean, well-maintained bearings are a cornerstone of consistent performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which ARRMA RC vehicles are these bearings compatible with? — These bearings are designed as replacement parts for a comprehensive range of ARRMA models including the 1/10 Big Rock 223S 4X4, Big Rock 3S 4X4, Fury 223S DSC 2WD, Fury 2WD, Gorgon 223S 2WD, Gorgon 2WD, Granite 223S 4X4, Granite 3S 4X4, Granite 4X4, Granite Boost 2WD, Granite Mega 665 4X4, Quake 223S DSC 2WD, Senton 223S DSC 4X4, Senton 3S 4X4, Senton 4X4, Senton Boost 2WD, Vorteks 223S 4X4, Vorteks 223S DSC 2WD, Vorteks 2WD, Vorteks 3S 4X4 and Vorteks Boost 2WD models. For 1/8 scale ARRMA vehicles, these bearings are compatible with the Infraction 223S DSC 4X4, Infraction 3S 4X4, Infraction 4X4, Typhon 223S 4X4, Typhon 3S 4X4, Typhon 4X4, Typhon Mega 665 4X4, and Vendetta 3S 4X4 models. If you're unsure whether they fit your specific ARRMA model, contact us or consult your vehicle's manual.
  • Why should I replace my RC car bearings? — Over time, RC car bearings accumulate dirt, sand and water, and the factory lubricant breaks down, causing increased friction and resistance in your drivetrain. This friction reduces efficiency, slows acceleration and puts additional load on your motor and gearbox. By replacing worn or contaminated bearings with fresh OEM-quality units like these ARRMA bearings, you restore your RC car's performance and reduce wear on expensive motor and ESC components. Regular bearing maintenance is one of the simplest ways to extend the lifespan of your RC vehicle.
  • Do these bearings come with lubrication? — Yes, these bearings come factory-lubricated, ready to install. The rubber shields help retain this lubrication and protect against contamination during use.
  • How often should I replace bearings on my ARRMA RC car? — Replacement frequency depends on how frequently and intensively you use your RC car. Casual weekend bashers might replace bearings once or twice a year, whilst competitive drivers or those running in particularly muddy or dusty conditions may need to replace them more frequently. A good rule of thumb is to inspect your bearings every few months and replace any that show signs of grinding resistance or noise when spun by hand.
  • What does the 2RS specification mean? — The 2RS designation means the bearing has two rubber seals (2RS = two rubber seals), one on each side. These seals provide protection against dirt, water and dust while retaining internal lubrication. This is ideal for outdoor RC driving where your car will encounter mud, rain and dusty conditions.
  • Are these genuine ARRMA parts? — Yes, these are genuine ARRMA original equipment manufacturer bearings, engineered and tested to work perfectly with ARRMA RC vehicles. Using genuine OEM parts ensures compatibility, reliability and longevity.
