Overview
The ARRMA Direct Mount Servo Saver (23T Spline) is an essential replacement steering component for ARRMA RC vehicles across their range of 1/10 and 1/8 scale models. Whether you own a brushless speed truck, monster truck, stadium truck, short course truck, buggy, or all-road street bash platform, this high-quality servo saver is engineered to protect your steering servo from damage whilst maintaining precise control input. As a direct replacement for kit-supplied items, this component is the perfect choice for RC enthusiasts in the UK looking to maintain or upgrade their ARRMA fleet with genuine factory parts.
This servo saver combines both the servo horn and servo saver function into one compact, integrated unit, eliminating the need for multiple components and simplifying your steering linkage setup. The 23T spline configuration is specifically designed for compatibility with Spektrum servos, making it an ideal replacement if you are running Spektrum radio equipment on your ready to run RC car or truck. The molded black composite material distinguishes this version clearly from the alternative 25T spline variant, ensuring you select the correct part for your specific servo configuration.
Whether you are a seasoned RC basher tackling rough terrain with a brushless monster truck, or a precision enthusiast running an all-road street bash model, servo protection is crucial to maintaining reliability and longevity. This ARRMA steering component has earned a 4.8 out of 5 customer rating, reflecting the trust and satisfaction of UK RC hobbyists who rely on it for durable, consistent performance across demanding driving conditions.
Key Features
- Direct Mount Design — This servo saver mounts directly onto your servo without requiring adapters or additional brackets, providing a streamlined installation that saves weight and reduces complexity in your steering system. The direct mount configuration also ensures tight tolerances and consistent performance across all driving conditions.
- Integrated Servo Horn and Saver — By combining the servo horn and servo saver into one compact unit, this component reduces the total number of parts required whilst maintaining full functionality. This integration simplifies assembly, reduces potential failure points, and creates a more robust steering system for your 1/10 or 1/8 scale RC vehicle.
- Strong Composite Material Construction — Manufactured from durable composite material, this servo saver is engineered to withstand the demands of aggressive bashing, high-speed running, and challenging terrain. The composite construction provides excellent impact resistance whilst remaining lightweight, ensuring your servo is protected without compromising the performance characteristics of your RC truck or buggy.
- Consistent Steel Spring Action — The integrated steel spring mechanism controls the servo saver action with precision and reliability, allowing your steering to respond smoothly to your radio inputs whilst protecting against sudden shocks and impacts that could otherwise damage expensive servo equipment. This consistent spring action maintains predictable steering behaviour across different driving styles and surface conditions.
- 23T Spektrum Servo Compatibility — The 23T spline specification ensures perfect compatibility with Spektrum servo equipment, one of the most popular radio system brands among UK RC enthusiasts. If you are running a Spektrum transmitter and receiver on your ARRMA ready to run model, this servo saver is engineered specifically for your setup.
- Black Composite Colour Finish — The molded black composite material provides both functional and aesthetic benefits, creating a clean appearance whilst making it visually distinct from the red colour 25T spline alternative version. This colour coding helps prevent installation errors when maintaining multiple ARRMA vehicles with different servo specifications.
Technical Performance
This Direct Mount Servo Saver represents ARRMA's commitment to providing genuine replacement parts that maintain the performance and reliability standards of their complete ready to run RC vehicle range. The component is engineered to work seamlessly with the steering systems found on ARRMA's extensive portfolio of 1/10 scale brushless and brushed monster trucks, short course trucks, speed trucks, stadium trucks, and stunt trucks, as well as their 1/8 scale brushless and brushed buggies, all-road street bash models, and desert trucks. The composite material construction is specifically formulated to withstand the rigours of RC driving, providing impact resistance comparable to original equipment whilst maintaining the precise tolerances necessary for accurate steering response. The steel spring mechanism has been calibrated to provide optimal servo protection without introducing excessive stiffness or play into the steering system. Whether you are pushing your ARRMA vehicle to its limits on a race track or bashing through rough terrain, this servo saver combines engineering excellence with practical durability.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the ARRMA Direct Mount Servo Saver (23T Spline) compatible with my ARRMA RC vehicle? — This servo saver is engineered as a direct replacement for factory-supplied items on a wide range of ARRMA models. Compatible vehicles include the 1/10 BIG ROCK 223S and 3S, GRANITE 223S and 3S (both brushless and brushed), GRANITE BOOST, GRANITE MEGA 665, KRATON 4S, OUTCAST 4S, SENTON 223S and 3S (both brushless and brushed), SENTON BOOST, VORTEKS 223S and 3S (both brushless and brushed), VORTEKS BOOST, and 1/8 INFRACTION 3S and brushed versions, MOJAVE 4S, TYPHON 3S and MEGA 665 (brushless and brushed), and VENDETTA 3S. If you own an ARRMA ready to run truck or buggy, you can verify compatibility by checking your model number against the full fitment list available from your ARRMA retailer.
- What is the difference between the 23T and 25T spline versions? — The primary difference is the servo spline specification. The 23T version featured here is designed for Spektrum servos, whilst the alternative AR340151 25T spline version is suited to different servo types. Before ordering, verify which servo spline your vehicle uses by checking your servo specifications or the original parts documentation that came with your ARRMA ready to run model.
- Will this servo saver protect my expensive servo from damage? — Yes. The integrated steel spring mechanism is specifically designed to absorb impacts and shocks that could otherwise damage your servo. When your steering encounters obstacles or impacts during aggressive bashing or racing, the spring mechanism allows controlled movement that protects internal servo gears and components from shock loads. This protection can significantly extend your servo's lifespan and reduce the frequency of repairs.
- Is this a genuine ARRMA part? — Yes, this is an official ARRMA component manufactured to the same specifications and quality standards as the servo saver supplied with new ARRMA ready to run vehicles. When you purchase this part as a replacement or upgrade, you are receiving genuine equipment tested and approved by ARRMA engineers.
- Can beginners install this servo saver themselves? — Installation is straightforward for anyone with basic RC maintenance experience. The direct mount design requires simply removing your old servo saver and installing the new unit onto your servo spline. If you are completely new to RC maintenance, your local ARRMA retailer or RC shop can guide you through the installation process.
