Overview
The ARRMA Direct Mount Servo Saver 25T Spline is a high-quality replacement component designed for RC enthusiasts who demand reliability and durability from their models. Whether you're running an ARRMA 1/10 scale RC car UK setup or maintaining an existing fleet, this servo saver represents a genuine OEM part that matches the quality standards you'd expect from the factory. This is an essential upgrade if your kit-supplied servo saver has worn out or been damaged during aggressive driving or racing.
Servo savers are critical components in any RC car's steering system, protecting your servo motor from the extreme shock loads that occur during hard cornering, impacts, and high-speed manoeuvres. A worn or failing servo saver will transfer those destructive forces directly to your servo, potentially causing expensive damage. The Direct Mount Servo Saver 25T Spline combines both the servo horn and servo saver function into one compact, integrated unit, eliminating the need for separate components and simplifying your steering setup. This direct replacement part is perfect for both weekend bashers and competitive RC drivers who want to keep their models running at peak performance.
Built to withstand the demands of serious RC driving, whether you're tackling UK terrain or preparing for competitive racing, this servo saver delivers the protection and longevity that serious RC enthusiasts demand from their equipment.
Key Features
- Strong Composite Material Construction — The servo saver is manufactured from durable composite materials that are engineered to absorb impacts and protect your servo from shock loads, ensuring long-lasting performance across all driving conditions, from casual weekend bashing to competitive track use.
- Direct Mount Design — This servo saver features a direct mount configuration, meaning it connects straight to your servo spline without requiring additional adapters or components, streamlining your steering geometry and reducing potential points of failure.
- 25T Servo Spline Compatibility — With a 25-tooth spline interface, this part is specifically designed to fit ARRMA models equipped with standard 25T servo horns, ensuring precise fitment and reliable steering response.
- Integrated Servo Horn and Saver — By combining both the servo horn and servo saver into a single compact unit, this design reduces weight, simplifies assembly, and creates a more robust steering mechanism with fewer components to wear out or break.
- Pre-Installed Pivot Balls — The servo saver comes with pivot balls already installed from the factory, which means you can go from box to track with minimal setup time, and the pre-installation ensures proper bearing seating for smooth steering response.
- OEM Quality Direct Replacement — As an official ARRMA part, this servo saver is a genuine factory replacement that maintains the exact specifications and fitment of your model's original component.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Direct Mount Servo Saver 25T Spline is engineered from proven composite materials that balance strength with weight considerations, delivering the durability required for serious RC car use without adding unnecessary mass to your steering system. The 25-tooth spline interface provides a secure connection with minimal play or wobble, which is essential for maintaining precise steering inputs and predictable handling characteristics. The integrated design eliminates the weak points that can develop between separate servo horn and saver components, creating a unified structure that distributes impact forces more evenly throughout the assembly. Composite materials offer superior shock absorption compared to metal alternatives alone, protecting your servo motor from the sudden directional changes and bump impacts that occur during fast cornering and aggressive off-road driving. The pre-installed pivot balls are housed in a smooth, low-friction arrangement that enables responsive steering without binding, critical for maintaining control during high-speed runs and technical manoeuvres. This component is specifically designed as a direct replacement for ARRMA kit-supplied servo savers, meaning fitment is guaranteed and performance will be identical to the factory original.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is a servo saver and why do I need one? — A servo saver is a mechanical component that absorbs shock impacts and sudden loads that would otherwise be transmitted directly to your servo motor. During fast cornering, collisions, and rough terrain driving, the servo saver protects your expensive servo from damage by acting as a shock-absorbing link in the steering system. Without a functioning servo saver, you risk burning out your servo or stripping its internal gears.
- How do I know if my servo saver needs replacing? — Signs of a worn servo saver include sloppy or loose steering response, visible cracks in the composite material, or if your original kit-supplied saver has been damaged from impacts or high-impact driving.
- Is this suitable for both bashers and race drivers? — Yes, this Direct Mount Servo Saver is equally suitable for casual weekend RC car UK bashers who want to protect their servo from accidental damage, and for competitive race drivers who need reliable steering protection during intense track sessions.
- What does 25T spline mean? — The 25T designation refers to the number of teeth on the spline connection point. The servo saver's spline must match your servo's output spline for proper fitment. This 25T version is designed specifically for ARRMA models equipped with standard 25-tooth servo horns.
- What advantage does the integrated design offer? — By combining the servo horn and saver into a single compact unit, this design reduces the number of separate components, eliminates connection points where play can develop, and creates a stronger overall assembly compared to using separate horn and saver pieces.
- Why are the pivot balls pre-installed? — Pre-installation of the pivot balls saves you assembly time and ensures the balls are seated correctly in their bearings from the start, providing optimal steering response immediately out of the box.
- Is this a genuine ARRMA part? — Yes, this is an official ARRMA OEM part, ensuring complete compatibility and performance consistency with your ARRMA RC model.
