Whether you're a serious RC car UK competitor, a weekend basher pushing your machine to the limit, or an experienced hobbyist maintaining your collection, these replacement bearings are critical for keeping your X-Maxx running smoothly and reliably. The Traxxas X-Maxx is one of the most capable and powerful brushless 4WD RC monster trucks available, and when paired with RPM's reinforced oversized axle carrier system, it demands premium replacement components to maintain peak performance.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are these bearings compatible with my stock Traxxas X-Maxx? — No. These bearings are specifically designed for RPM #81732 Oversized Axle Carriers only and are not compatible with stock Traxxas axle carriers (#7752). If you're running standard X-Maxx components, you'll need different bearings. However, if you've upgraded to RPM's oversized axle carriers, these are the correct replacement bearings for your setup.
- What are the exact bearing dimensions? — These replacement bearings measure 20x32x7mm. This precise size is critical for proper fit within RPM #81732 Oversized Axle Carriers, and using bearings of different dimensions could result in poor fit, play in the suspension, and potential damage to your carriers.
- How often should I replace these bearings on my RC X-Maxx? — Bearing lifespan depends on how frequently you run your X-Maxx, the conditions you drive in, and how well you maintain your vehicle. Regular use, especially in dusty or wet conditions, will wear bearings faster. It's good practice to inspect your bearings regularly and replace them when you notice any grinding sensation, visible damage, or resistance to smooth rotation. Keeping spare bearings on hand ensures you're never stuck waiting for parts to arrive.
- What makes RPM bearings different from other replacement options? — RPM bearings are engineered specifically for RPM components and manufactured to match the exacting tolerances of RPM's oversized axle carrier design. This precision fit ensures smooth operation and maximum durability. Choosing genuine RPM bearings means you're getting parts designed to work perfectly with your RPM upgrades, rather than settling for generic alternatives that might not fit as precisely or last as long.
- Do I need any tools to install these bearings? — Installation typically requires basic RC maintenance tools including bearing pullers or bearing presses, depending on how your carriers are configured. If you're not comfortable removing and reinstalling bearings yourself, many RC shops and clubs offer maintenance services. Proper bearing installation is important to avoid damaging the carriers or bearings during the process.
- Can I use these bearings on other RPM axle carrier products? — These bearings are specifically designed for RPM #81732 Oversized Axle Carriers for the Traxxas X-Maxx. While RPM manufactures axle carriers for other vehicles, bearing compatibility can vary. Always check that the bearings match your specific RPM carrier model before purchasing.
