The ARRMA Dogbone 157mm is an essential replacement drivetrain component for owners of high-performance 1/7 scale RC cars and trucks. This tough, precision-manufactured dogbone drive pin is specifically designed as a spare part for ARRMA's flagship models, including the 1/7 MOJAVE 6S, FIRETEAM 6S, and BIG ROCK 6S brushless RC vehicles. Whether you're a serious RC enthusiast running a ready to run RC truck, a weekend basher putting serious power through your transmission, or an experienced racer looking to maintain peak performance, having quality replacement dogbones on hand is essential for uninterrupted RC driving enjoyment.
Built to the same exacting standards as the original equipment, this dogbone represents genuine ARRMA engineering and durability. The 157mm length makes it compatible with multiple models across ARRMA's 1/7 scale range, making it a versatile addition to your spares box. When you're pushing your brushless RC truck or buggy to its limits, drivetrain components like dogbones take punishment and may require replacement. Rather than compromise on quality with inferior aftermarket alternatives, this genuine ARRMA part ensures your transmission drive cups maintain a safe and secure fit with your vehicle's driveshaft system. For UK RC enthusiasts who demand reliability and performance from their RC cars, this is the authentic replacement part you need.
ARRMA has earned its reputation as a world-leading manufacturer of high-speed, durable RC vehicles, and their commitment to quality extends throughout their entire parts catalogue. This dogbone is manufactured to the same precision standards as the components in complete ready to run RC kits, ensuring perfect fitment and long-lasting performance. Stock one of these in your spares collection and you'll be prepared for any drivetrain maintenance your RC monster truck or buggy might need.
Key Features
- Strong Steel Construction — Manufactured from premium steel, this dogbone offers exceptional durability and resistance to the constant rotational forces generated by high-performance brushless motors and 6S LiPo batteries, meaning it will withstand the demands of aggressive RC driving in all conditions without premature wear or failure.
- Precision Manufactured Drive Pins — Each dogbone is engineered with precision-machined drive pins that create a safe and secure fit with your transmission drive cups, eliminating play and ensuring reliable power transfer from your motor to your wheels without slip or loss of control.
- Perfect Replacement Part — This is a genuine ARRMA spare part (model ARA310952) that matches the original equipment specifications perfectly, making it the ideal choice when your existing dogbone requires replacement due to wear, damage, or maintenance.
- Compatible with Multiple 1/7 Models — The 157mm length makes this dogbone suitable for several ARRMA 1/7 scale vehicles including the MOJAVE 6S V2, FIRETEAM 6S, BIG ROCK 6S, and MOJAVE 6S EXB models, offering versatility across your RC collection.
- Long-Lasting Durability — The robust steel construction and precision engineering ensure this component will deliver reliable service across varied driving conditions, from smooth track surfaces to rough terrain bashings typical of RC enthusiasts in the UK and beyond.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Dogbone 157mm represents a critical drivetrain component in 1/7 scale brushless RC vehicles, where the demands on transmission internals are substantial. When coupled with ARRMA's brushless power systems and high-capacity 6S LiPo batteries, the drivetrain must transfer tremendous torque and power to the wheels reliably and efficiently. This dogbone's strong steel construction provides the rigidity necessary to handle continuous acceleration, cornering forces, and the shock loads that occur during off-road RC driving. The precision-manufactured drive pins are engineered to exacting tolerances, ensuring zero backlash or play between the dogbone and the transmission drive cups. This tight tolerancing is essential for maintaining steering precision and power delivery, particularly important in competitive racing environments or when pushing your RC truck to its performance limits. The 157mm length has been specifically designed to work seamlessly with ARRMA's 1/7 scale transmission geometry, maintaining proper driveshaft alignment and operating angle. Whether you're running your MOJAVE, FIRETEAM, or BIG ROCK on high-grip asphalt, loose sand, or rough rocky terrain, this component is engineered to perform consistently and reliably. The steel material choice provides superior strength compared to plastic alternatives, making this the professional-grade choice for serious RC car enthusiasts who understand that drivetrain reliability directly impacts performance and enjoyment of their vehicles.
What's in the Box
Frequently Asked Questions
- What ARRMA models does the 157mm dogbone fit? — This dogbone is compatible with multiple ARRMA 1/7 scale vehicles including the MOJAVE 6S V2, FIRETEAM 6S 4X4, BIG ROCK 6S 4X4, and MOJAVE 6S EXB models. If you own any of these brushless RC trucks or buggies, this is the correct replacement part for your transmission.
- How do I know if I need to replace my dogbone? — Dogbones may require replacement after extended use, if you notice transmission play or clicking sounds during acceleration, or if the component has sustained impact damage. As a wear item in high-performance RC vehicles, having a spare dogbone in your parts box is sensible maintenance practice.
- Is this a genuine ARRMA part? — Yes, this is an authentic ARRMA spare part with the manufacturer part number ARA310952. Buying genuine ARRMA components ensures perfect fitment and the same quality standards as the parts included in new ready to run RC kits.
- Will this work with other RC car brands? — This dogbone is specifically engineered for ARRMA 1/7 scale vehicles and is not compatible with other manufacturers' drivetrain systems. The 157mm length and drive pin specifications are unique to ARRMA's transmission design.
- What is the difference between this and plastic dogbones? — This steel dogbone offers superior strength and durability compared to plastic alternatives, particularly important for high-power brushless vehicles like the 6S-capable MOJAVE and FIRETEAM models. Steel construction resists flexing and deformation under heavy load, maintaining precise drivetrain geometry and performance.
- Is this suitable for beginners? — This is a replacement spare part rather than a beginner product in itself. However, beginners who own ARRMA ready to run RC trucks will benefit from having a spare dogbone available for maintenance and repairs as they develop their RC skills and driving experience.
