Technical Performance
These ARRMA ball bearings represent the kind of precision engineering and manufacturing quality that the brand is known for across the RC car UK community. The 8x19x6mm specification refers to the bearing's inner diameter (8mm), outer diameter (19mm) and width (6mm), dimensions that are critical for proper fit and function in your RC vehicle's drivetrain. The super-smooth ball-race design minimises friction losses, which is particularly important in modern brushless RC cars where every tenth of a second counts in competitive racing scenarios. The bearings are manufactured using quality materials and precision engineering techniques to ensure they maintain their performance characteristics even under the demanding conditions that competitive RC bashers and racers impose on their vehicles. Whether you're running your RC truck on high-grip indoor carpet, outdoor concrete skate parks, natural terrain or dusty tracks, these bearings provide the reliability and consistency that separates a well-maintained RC car from one that's struggling with worn components. The precise diameter fitting ensures that these bearings integrate seamlessly with your vehicle's chassis and drivetrain without any play or looseness, which directly translates to improved handling precision and predictable vehicle dynamics during high-speed runs and aggressive cornering.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Which ARRMA RC vehicles use 8x19x6mm bearings? — These bearings are compatible with a wide range of ARRMA models including the 1/7 scale Infraction 6S 4X4 RTR Brushless, Limitless 6S 4X4 (both RTR and roller versions), Mojave 6S 4X4 RTR Brushless, and the entire 1/8 scale lineup including the Kraton 6S, Notorious 6S, Outcast 6S (standard and limited edition), Talion 6S and Typhon 6S 4X4 RTR Brushless models. This makes them an essential spare for owners of multiple ARRMA vehicles.
- How often should I replace my RC car bearings? — The frequency of bearing replacement depends on how much you use your RC vehicle and the conditions you operate it in. Heavy use in dusty or sandy environments may require more frequent replacement, whilst casual weekend bashing in clean conditions might only need bearing replacement every several months. You should inspect bearings regularly and replace them when they show signs of wear, noise, or increased friction that affects your vehicle's performance.
- Are these genuine ARRMA bearings? — Yes, these are official ARRMA spare parts (part number AR610017 / Z-AR610017) manufactured by ARRMA specifically for their RC vehicles. Genuine OEM bearings ensure perfect fit and compatibility with your vehicle, whereas counterfeit or generic alternatives may have dimensional variations that lead to fit issues and poor performance.
- What is the difference between ball bearings and other bearing types? — Ball bearings use spherical balls held in a cage to reduce friction and allow smooth rotation around an axle or shaft. They are ideal for RC vehicles because they provide low friction, high speed capability and good durability across a wide range of operating temperatures. The ball-race design in these ARRMA bearings specifically provides smoother operation compared to some lower-quality bearing alternatives.
- Can I use these bearings with other RC brands? — These bearings are designed specifically for ARRMA vehicles. Whilst the 8x19x6mm size might fit some other brands, using non-ARRMA parts may result in fit issues or performance degradation. Always use genuine ARRMA parts for your ARRMA vehicles to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- How do I install replacement bearings in my RC car? — Bearing installation varies depending on which component (driveshaft, differential, suspension arm, etc) you're replacing them in. Consult your ARRMA vehicle's assembly manual for specific instructions. Generally, you'll need to remove the old bearing, clean the area thoroughly, and press the new bearing firmly onto the shaft using appropriate tools to ensure correct seating.
