Key Features
- Complete Steering Linkage Assembly — This package includes everything required for a complete steering linkage setup, eliminating the need to purchase components separately and ensuring all parts are correctly matched for the Revo 3.3 chassis.
- Two M3 x 50mm Turnbuckles — The turnbuckles provide adjustable steering geometry control, allowing you to fine-tune your steering responsiveness and track alignment for optimal handling characteristics during competition or recreational driving.
- Four Short Rod Ends — These precision-engineered rod ends connect the steering components with minimal slop, ensuring direct and predictable steering response that translates your radio control inputs accurately to wheel movement.
- Four Hollow Balls — The hollow ball joints provide flexible connection points within the steering linkage, allowing smooth movement whilst maintaining mechanical integrity and preventing binding during aggressive steering inputs.
- Genuine Traxxas OEM Component — As an original manufacturer component, this steering linkage meets all Traxxas quality standards and engineering specifications, guaranteeing perfect fitment and long-term reliability on your Revo 3.3 extended wheelbase chassis.
- Chassis Spare Part Category — Classified as essential chassis spares, this linkage represents the type of component that serious RC hobbyists keep in their maintenance toolkit for quick repairs and upgrades without downtime.
- Extended Wheelbase Compatibility — Specifically engineered for use with Revo extended wheelbase chassis, this steering linkage ensures the correct geometry and performance characteristics for that particular platform configuration.
Technical Performance
The Traxxas Revo 3.3 steering linkage assembly represents precision engineering in miniature form. The M3 x 50mm turnbuckles are manufactured to exacting tolerances, providing the adjustability required to dial in steering geometry across varying track conditions and driving styles. The short rod ends minimise excess play in the steering system, a critical factor in maintaining responsive handling during high-speed runs or technical course driving. Hollow balls instead of solid variants offer weight savings and enhanced flexibility, allowing the steering linkage to articulate smoothly without binding or creating dead zones in your steering input response. The complete assembly is designed around Traxxas's decades of RC engineering experience, with materials and construction methods proven through countless hours of competitive and recreational use. For UK RC car enthusiasts upgrading to the Revo 3.3 configuration or maintaining an existing platform, this genuine component ensures your steering system performs with the precision and reliability expected from a professional-grade RC vehicle. The engineering behind even small components like steering linkages is what separates premium RC experiences from inferior alternatives.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is this steering linkage compatible with my Revo 3.3 chassis? — Yes, this Traxxas TRX5341 steering linkage is specifically engineered for the Revo 3.3 extended wheelbase chassis. It is designed to work with that platform's geometry and mounting points, ensuring proper steering response and alignment.
- What do the turnbuckles do in a steering linkage assembly? — The M3 x 50mm turnbuckles are adjustable steering tie-rods that allow you to modify steering geometry on your RC car. By adjusting turnbuckle length, you can correct steering toe-in, compensate for track bias, and fine-tune how responsive your steering feels during driving.
- Why are hollow balls used instead of solid ball joints? — Hollow balls provide the same structural connection as solid variants whilst reducing overall weight and offering slightly more compliance in the steering linkage. This can improve handling feel and reduce shock transmission through the steering system during aggressive driving.
- How often should I replace my steering linkage components? — Steering linkages should be inspected regularly for wear, particularly the rod ends and ball joints. With heavy use, components may develop play or wear, causing vague steering response. Replacement intervals depend on driving frequency and conditions, but genuine Traxxas components like these are highly durable for extended use.
- Is this a genuine Traxxas part? — Yes, the TRX5341 is an official Traxxas OEM steering linkage assembly manufactured to the exact specifications Traxxas uses for Revo 3.3 production and replacement parts. Genuine parts ensure compatibility and performance.
- What is the difference between this and other aftermarket steering linkages? — Genuine Traxxas parts are engineered specifically for the Revo 3.3 platform with exact geometry, materials, and tolerances proven in competition and recreational use. Aftermarket alternatives may offer cost savings but can introduce compatibility issues or performance compromises that genuine OEM components avoid.
