Overview
The Traxxas Heavy-Duty Body Clips (Black) (12 pcs) are essential replacement parts designed for serious RC enthusiasts who demand reliability and durability from their RC car accessories. If you're running a high-performance 1/10 scale RC vehicle and need body clips that can withstand intense, high-flying action, these heavy-duty clips from Traxxas are precisely what you need. Whether you're a competitive racer, a weekend basher, or an experienced RC hobbyist in the UK, having a pack of quality body clips on hand is crucial for keeping your RC car body securely mounted during aggressive driving.
These clips represent a significant upgrade over standard body clips, offering superior strength and durability that sets them apart in the RC car UK market. The heavy-duty construction means they hold your RC car body tightly in place, even during the most demanding driving scenarios where vibration, jumps, and high-speed cornering could otherwise loosen a standard clip. With twelve clips included in each pack, you'll have plenty of spares to rotate through your collection or share amongst your RC team.
Traxxas is recognised globally as a leader in RC vehicle manufacturing, and their attention to detail extends to every component they produce, including these body clips. When you invest in Traxxas parts for your ready to run RC vehicles, you're investing in compatibility, reliability, and performance that will enhance your RC driving experience for years to come.
Key Features
- Heavy-duty construction — These clips are engineered with a stronger, more robust design compared to standard body clips, providing superior holding power that keeps your RC car body firmly secured even during the most intense, high-flying action and aggressive driving scenarios.
- Pack of 12 clips — Each purchase includes twelve individual clips, giving you a comprehensive set of spares for your 1/10 scale RC vehicles, ensuring you always have replacements on hand for maintenance, upgrades, or sharing with fellow RC enthusiasts.
- Thicker material — Customer feedback confirms these clips are slightly thicker than standard alternatives, which improves fitment to body mounting holes and prevents the looseness that can occur with thinner, cheaper clips over time.
- Black colour finish — The black finish provides a sleek appearance that complements most RC car body designs while maintaining professional aesthetics across your RC collection.
- Universal 1/10 scale compatibility — Designed specifically for Traxxas 1/10 scale vehicles, these clips work with a wide range of models including the TRX-4 series crawlers, Slash Ultimate short course trucks, Ford Fiesta ST Rally vehicles, and Nissan Pathfinder models.
Technical Performance
The Traxxas Heavy-Duty Body Clips are manufactured to the exacting standards you'd expect from a company that has spent decades perfecting RC vehicle engineering. The heavier gauge material used in their construction directly addresses a common pain point for RC car owners: standard body clips that lose their grip after repeated use, vibration cycles, and the stresses of high-performance driving. The slightly thicker profile means the clips maintain consistent tension in the body mounting holes, preventing drift and ensuring your RC car body stays exactly where it should be during high-speed runs, jumps, and sharp cornering. The engineering focus on durability makes these clips an excellent choice for anyone running their 1/10 scale RC vehicles hard, whether on-road or off-road. Each clip is designed to withstand thousands of body mounting and removal cycles without deformation, making them a cost-effective long-term investment compared to replacing cheap clips repeatedly.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are heavy-duty body clips better than standard clips for my 1/10 scale RC car? — Yes, absolutely. Heavy-duty body clips like these from Traxxas are significantly stronger and more durable than standard alternatives. They hold your RC car body more securely and maintain their grip after repeated mounting and removal cycles. Customer feedback specifically confirms these clips are stronger than cheap alternatives and fit mounting holes more snugly due to their thicker construction.
- How many body clips do I need for my RC vehicle? — Most 1/10 scale RC vehicles require between two and four body clips to secure the body shell properly. Since this pack contains twelve clips, you'll have plenty for multiple vehicles, spares for rotation, and backups for when clips wear out or break.
- Will these clips fit all 1/10 scale Traxxas vehicles? — These clips are specifically designed for 1/10 scale Traxxas vehicles and are compatible with a comprehensive range of models including the TRX-4 series (Chevrolet K10 Cheyenne, Ford F-150 Ranger, 1979 Chevy Blazer, Nissan Pathfinder, TRX-4 Defender), Slash Ultimate 4x4, and Ford Fiesta ST Rally models. Always verify compatibility with your specific vehicle model before purchase.
- What makes Traxxas body clips different from generic clips? — Traxxas clips are engineered specifically for their vehicles with precise tolerances and superior materials. The heavy-duty variants feature thicker gauge material that holds tension better and lasts longer than budget alternatives. This ensures your body mounting holes maintain their grip and your RC car body stays secure during aggressive driving.
- Are these clips easy to use? — Yes, body clips are one of the simplest RC car components to use. Simply slide them over your body mounting posts and they secure the body shell in place. No tools required. The design makes removal equally simple when you need to access the chassis or swap bodies.
