Key Features
- 4mm Bullet to XT60 Male Connector — This charge lead provides a direct connection between standard 4mm bullet connector outputs (commonly found on chargers and power supplies) and XT60 male plugs, which are ubiquitous across modern RC vehicles, making it an essential compatibility tool for RC car UK users and anyone running contemporary brushless RC models.
- 14AWG Wire Gauge — The 14AWG wire specification ensures adequate current-carrying capacity for typical RC charging applications, providing safe and reliable power delivery to your RC batteries without excessive voltage drop or heat generation during the charging process.
- Compact 150mm Length — The short 150mm cable length is deliberately engineered to minimise clutter around your charging station and work area, allowing for neat organisation of leads whilst still providing sufficient reach for practical everyday use with your RC battery charging systems.
- ESC End Designation — Clear labelling identifies this as an ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) end connector, removing any confusion about which connector should be used with your speed control equipment and ensuring you make the correct connections every time.
- Universal RC Compatibility — This adapter lead works across virtually all RC applications using these connector types, from electric RC buggies and RC trucks to crawlers and other brushless RC vehicles, making it a versatile addition to any modeller's spares box.
Technical Performance
The Radient Charge Lead represents a straightforward yet essential piece of RC charging infrastructure. Built with 14AWG wire gauge, this cable has been engineered to handle the typical currents associated with charging modern lithium polymer and lithium iron phosphate RC batteries used in contemporary brushless RC vehicles across the UK market. The 4mm bullet connector is a standard output on most quality RC battery chargers and power supplies, whilst the XT60 male connector has become the de facto standard for high-capacity RC batteries in 1/10-scale and 1/8-scale electric RC models. The 150mm length represents an optimal compromise between compactness and usability — short enough to maintain a tidy charging station, yet long enough to reach from your power supply to your RC battery without awkward stretching or excessive cable stress. The construction quality reflects Radient's reputation for reliability, ensuring that this charge lead will provide years of dependable service. When managing multiple RC cars, RC trucks, and other electric RC models, having quality adapter leads like this prevents the frustration of incompatible connectors and ensures safe, efficient battery charging every single time you need to power up your RC equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is this charge lead used for in RC applications? — This adapter cable provides a connection between standard 4mm bullet connector outputs (found on most RC battery chargers and power supplies) and XT60 male plugs that connect to your RC batteries or ESC-equipped models. It bridges the gap between your charger and your RC car, truck, or other electric RC vehicle, making it an essential tool for anyone running contemporary brushless RC models in the UK.
- Is the 150mm length suitable for my charging setup? — The 150mm length is specifically designed to be compact and tidy for typical bench or table-top charging stations. This length is ideal for keeping your RC charging area organised whilst providing sufficient reach from a standard power supply to your battery or ESC. If you require significantly longer cable runs, you may want to consider a longer charge lead or extension cable.
- What does ESC End mean on this charge lead? — ESC End designation indicates that this connector is configured specifically for connecting to Electronic Speed Controller equipment. The XT60 male end plugs directly into your RC battery or ESC, whilst the 4mm bullet end connects to your charger or power supply. This clear labelling prevents confusion and ensures correct installation every time.
- Is this suitable for all modern RC vehicles? — This charge lead is compatible with any RC model using 4mm bullet charger outputs and XT60 male battery connectors. This combination is standard across most contemporary electric RC buggies, RC trucks, RC crawlers, and other brushless RC vehicles used by UK enthusiasts. However, always verify your specific RC model's connector type before purchasing.
- What wire gauge is this charge lead and why does it matter? — The 14AWG (American Wire Gauge) specification provides robust current-carrying capacity suitable for typical RC battery charging currents. This gauge ensures safe charging without excessive heat build-up or voltage drop, protecting both your RC batteries and your charger equipment during the charging process.
- What is the shipping weight and does it come with any documentation? — The Radient Charge Lead has an approximate shipping weight of 0.03kg (0.07lbs), making it extremely lightweight and perfect for adding to any order without increasing postage costs. As a simple adapter lead, it requires no assembly or complex setup instructions and is ready to use immediately upon receipt.
