Key Features
- XT60 Connector Interface — This universal connector standard is widely adopted across modern RC vehicles and battery packs, ensuring broad compatibility with your existing XT60-equipped LiPo battery packs and RC power systems without requiring additional adapters or modifications.
- Series Y Harness Configuration — The series connection allows you to link two battery packs together to achieve higher voltage output, which is essential for RC setups that demand increased electrical power and performance capabilities that a single battery cannot provide alone.
- 14AWG Wire Gauge — The 14AWG wire specification provides adequate current-carrying capacity for series battery configurations whilst maintaining flexibility and ease of routing throughout your RC model's chassis and battery compartment.
- 100mm Lead Length — The compact 100mm lead keeps your installation tidy and space-efficient, reducing cable clutter inside your RC car or truck whilst maintaining sufficient length to route around internal components and reach distant battery positions.
- Lightweight Construction — Weighing just 0.02kg, this connector adds virtually no additional mass to your RC vehicle, ensuring that your weight distribution and handling characteristics remain unaffected by the addition of this essential component.
- Straightforward Design — The simple Y-shaped harness design requires no complicated installation procedures, making it accessible to hobbyists of intermediate skill levels and eliminating the need for advanced electrical knowledge to implement successfully.
Technical Performance
The Radient XT60 Series Y Connector is engineered specifically for RC applications where voltage stacking is necessary. The 14AWG wire gauge is sized appropriately for typical series battery configurations used in brushless RC cars and trucks, providing reliable current delivery without excessive voltage drop across the connector itself. The XT60 connector interface is recognised across the UK RC hobby community and beyond as a durable, secure mechanical connection that prevents accidental disconnection during operation. The 100mm lead length represents an optimal compromise between installation convenience and space-saving efficiency; long enough to route around obstacles within your RC chassis yet short enough to eliminate unnecessary cable bulk. The construction quality reflects Radient's reputation for delivering dependable RC accessories that withstand the demands of regular use and the occasional impacts common to RC hobbying. Whether you're running a competitive brushless RC buggy, a high-speed RC stadium truck, or a terrain-conquering RC crawler, this Y connector provides the electrical bridge necessary to unlock the performance potential of dual-battery configurations. The connector's robust design ensures consistent electrical contact across multiple charge and discharge cycles, maintaining peak performance throughout the lifespan of your batteries.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the benefit of using a series Y connector for my RC car UK setup? — A series connection doubles the voltage output of your system whilst maintaining the same capacity. This means if you connect two 3S (11.1V) LiPo batteries in series using this Y connector, you achieve 6S (22.2V) output, which dramatically increases the power available to your brushless motor and ESC, resulting in improved speed and acceleration for your RC car or truck.
- Is this XT60 connector suitable for beginners? — Whilst the connector itself is straightforward to use, series battery configurations require intermediate understanding of RC electrical systems and battery safety. Users should be aged 14 or above as per the age recommendation and should understand the implications of increasing voltage on their specific RC vehicle's ESC and motor capabilities before implementing this connection.
- What batteries does this connector work with? — This Y connector is designed for any XT60-equipped LiPo battery packs. Common series configurations include connecting two 3S packs for 6S operation, two 4S packs for 8S operation, or other combinations depending on your RC vehicle's electrical specifications and component ratings. Always verify that your ESC, motor, and other electronics are rated for the resulting voltage before connecting.
- Why choose the 100mm lead length over longer alternatives? — The 100mm lead is specifically engineered to keep your RC installation compact and tidy whilst providing sufficient length for practical battery routing. Longer connectors add unnecessary bulk and cable management complexity, whilst shorter leads might not provide adequate reach for optimal battery positioning in your RC chassis.
- Is the 14AWG wire gauge adequate for my brushless RC system? — The 14AWG specification is appropriate for typical series battery configurations and moderate to high-current applications common in brushless RC cars and trucks. However, you should always verify that this connector's specifications align with your specific ESC's rated input specifications and your chosen battery's continuous discharge rating.
