How does the 2250Kv rating enhance 1/8 scale performance?

The Spektrum 2250Kv motor with hardened steel shaft and solder tab output leads is tuned for high-RPM output, making it ideal for competitive 1/8 scale platforms. Its Kv rating provides the speed and torque balance needed for rapid acceleration and sustained top-end performance. Whether you're navigating tight corners or launching off jumps, the motor’s power profile ensures consistent delivery across the throttle range, giving drivers the edge in both racing and bashing scenarios.

Why is the 4-pole rotor design critical for throttle smoothness?

The Spektrum M-SPMX-1046 with low-cog rotor and CNC-machined aluminum housing features a 4-pole, 8-magnet rotor that minimizes cogging and enhances throttle response. This design improves magnetic resolution, allowing for finer control at low speeds and smoother transitions during acceleration. The rotor’s construction also supports high torque output without sacrificing efficiency, making it ideal for terrain changes, cornering precision, and aggressive throttle inputs.

What makes this motor ideal for 3S–6S LiPo setups?

The Spektrum M-SPMX-1046 sensored motor for 3S–6S LiPo setups with Firma 130A ESC is built to handle high-voltage power systems while maintaining thermal stability and electrical efficiency. Its insulated copper windings and CNC-machined housing work together to dissipate heat and preserve performance during extended runs. When paired with the Firma 130A Smart Sensored ESC, the motor supports telemetry feedback and adaptive timing control, giving users full command over their powertrain configuration.

How do the construction materials support durability?

The Spektrum M-SPMX-1046 4-pole motor with 5mm shaft and insulated copper windings is built with hardened alloy steel and high-purity copper to withstand mechanical stress and thermal load. Its 5mm output shaft resists flex and deformation under torque, while the solder tab leads ensure secure electrical connections. The CNC-machined aluminum housing adds rigidity and cooling efficiency, and the precision ball bearings reduce friction for smoother operation and extended motor life.

Is this motor suitable for both buggies and truggies?

Yes. The Spektrum Firma motor for truggies and buggies with precision ball bearings is designed for versatility across 1/8 scale platforms. Its compact 4274 size and robust construction make it compatible with a wide range of chassis configurations.
