Technical Performance
The E-flite 60-Amp Pro Switch-Mode BEC Brushless ESC (V2) is engineered to deliver outstanding performance across a wide range of aircraft types and flying disciplines. With 60 amps of continuous current and 75 amps burst capability, this controller handles brushless motors commonly found in .40–.60 size aeroplanes and mid-size helicopter platforms with ease. The switch-mode BEC architecture represents a significant efficiency advantage over older linear regulators, delivering stable 5-volt power whilst minimising power loss and heat generation. This efficiency translates to longer flight times, as the BEC draws minimal current from your main battery pack compared to alternatives. The integrated BEC capability to power up to seven analogue or six digital servos makes this ESC ideal for complex aircraft featuring retractable landing gear, flap systems, or other control surfaces requiring multiple servo actuation. The sensorless brushless design ensures smooth, responsive throttle control without the complexity and cost of sensor wiring, making this an elegant solution for both fixed-wing and rotorcraft applications. Built to the high standards expected from E-flite, a brand recognised throughout the UK RC community for quality and reliability, this ESC incorporates advanced thermal management through its finned aluminium heat sinks, allowing sustained operation at maximum current without thermal throttling. The programmable nature of this ESC—with adjustable timing profiles, braking, soft start, and throttle range calibration—means you can fine-tune performance to match your specific motor, battery configuration, and flying style, whether you're flying competitively or recreationally.
