What makes the Castle P-CC013100 ideal for high-voltage aircraft?
The Castle P-CC013100 high-voltage ESC for heli and fixed-wing setups with 6000W continuous power is built to handle extreme electrical loads with precision and reliability. Its 12S LiPo input capacity and 50.4V max voltage rating make it suitable for large-scale aircraft requiring sustained power delivery. The 120A continuous rating ensures consistent performance during full-throttle operation, while the integrated BEC provides up to 20A peak output to support high-torque servos and flight systems. Whether mounted under a canopy or within a fuselage, the Castle P-CC013100 maintains thermal stability thanks to its aluminum housing and optional cooling fan.
How does the selectable BEC enhance system flexibility?
The Castle P-CC013100 aluminum-case ESC with selectable 6V/8V BEC and Castle Link programmability features a user-configurable BEC that allows pilots to choose between 6V and 8V output. This flexibility ensures compatibility with a wide range of servos and onboard electronics, from standard analog units to high-voltage digital systems. The BEC delivers 10A continuous and 20A peak output, making it one of the most capable internal regulators available in the hobby market. Before flight, users should verify servo draw to ensure safe operation, especially in high-demand configurations.
Why is telemetry support important for flight safety?
The Talon 120HV ESC with 10A continuous BEC, telemetry link support, and optional 40mm fan includes telemetry compatibility for both Futaba S.BUS2 and Spektrum X-BUS systems. When paired with the appropriate Castle Telemetry Link module, users can monitor critical flight data such as ESC temperature, input voltage, and receiver battery status in real time. This capability reduces the risk of unexpected shutdowns and allows pilots to respond proactively to system alerts. Audible warnings and flashing LED codes further enhance situational awareness, making the Castle P-CC013100 a smart choice for safety-conscious flyers.
How does Castle Link improve programming and diagnostics?
The Castle ESC for 3S–12S LiPo aircraft with USB programming and flashing LED alerts is fully compatible with Castle Link software, which provides access to expanded programming parameters and firmware updates. Users can adjust throttle curves, BEC voltage, and other settings via a Windows PC using the included USB adapter coupon. Castle Link also enables profile saving, factory resets, and demo mode functionality. While data logging is not supported on this model, telemetry integration and LED alerts provide sufficient feedback for most flight scenarios. Always disconnect the BEC power wire before connecting to Castle Link to avoid hardware damage.
What installation considerations should pilots keep in mind?
The Castle P-CC013100 with built-in 5.5mm bullets, 120A continuous rating, and 50.4V max voltage includes integrated 5.5mm female motor connectors and matching male bullets for quick setup. Battery connectors are sold separately and must be selected based on current requirements. For motors with stiff wires, Castle recommends using flexible silicone extensions to prevent stress on the ESC terminals. The optional 40mm fan operates between 4.8V and 7.4V and is recommended for installations with limited airflow. The ESC’s compact dimensions (105.4mm length, 51.1mm width, 20.4mm depth) allow for versatile mounting across various aircraft platforms.

We want to make sure your delivery goes smoothly, so here are some important details about our service:
- For orders above £120, we offer delivery to most mainland UK addresses. For orders under £120, we can still deliver to Northern Ireland and the outlying isles, as long as the item can be sent by Royal Mail, weighs less than 30kg, and fits within 61cm × 46cm × 46cm. Some highland and remote areas may carry an extra delivery charge as couriers often apply surcharges in these locations. If you live in one of these areas, feel free to contact us before ordering so we can confirm the delivery options and costs for you.
- Most of our products include delivery in the price. If your order is under £90, a small delivery fee will apply but do not worry this will always be clearly shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
- Depending on what you choose at checkout, your order will usually be delivered either the next working day or within 2 working days. For next day delivery please place your order before 2:00pm. Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday only. Some items may take a little longer and if that is the case we will always show the expected delivery time on the product page.
- If your order includes items with different dispatch times we will normally wait and send everything together once all items are in stock. If one of the items is going to take a while we will give you the choice either wait for everything to arrive or let us send the available items now and deliver the rest later. It is up to you.
- We use trusted delivery partners to make sure your order gets to you safely and on time. We use DPD for next working day deliveries and Royal Mail for the 2 day option.
- As soon as your order is on its way we will send you a tracking number by email. If you provide your mobile number at checkout we will also send delivery updates straight to your phone so you can keep an eye on progress.
- If a product is marked as "Dispatched within 3 working days" delivery usually takes around 3 to 5 working days from when your order is placed.
- For customers in Inverness and other parts of the Scottish Highlands deliveries can take up to 2 working days even if you select next day delivery as couriers do not currently offer a guaranteed next day service to those areas.
